    How does cutting off hinges not breach the door ? All the locking bolts look to be on just 1 side ??

      @refiii9499 Před 5 lety +1

      dangerprone911 all 4 sides of both doors on mine have locking studs. The long side has 8 on ea side and 4 on the tops and bottoms. I have the super titan xxl double door. I can’t talk for the smaller one but I do believe if you look through other videos you’ll find the smaller safes also have the same stud type locks on all four sides.

    question?! since it is modular, there are more seams to pry on, so how do you feel about it on the pry resistant? the regular safe is welded. the only seam is from the door to the body. now this safe is got all size seam from the pieces. is it more prone to pry break in? thank you.

    why has the XXL modular safe been discontinued?

    • @sportclay1
      @sportclay1 Před 6 lety

      I don't believe the XXL has been disc. When I ordered mine (from factory) they told me the Titan XL single door was being replaced by the XL double door. Easier access on the double door. They gave me a break on the price because of the disc. model. and no shipping chg. I think there are some of the single door XL's still available as a friend recently bought one through Hornady/snap Safe.

    Oh no... you have vault door into your gun room.... Guess I can't get in now.
    **KOOLAID MAN'S THE WALLS** OOH YEAHH
    Remember people, your walls are literally 99% drywall. You can easily go in-between the studs.

    So, how many minutes would that stand up to an ordinary axe?

      Hagge Bänke cause thieves always bring an axe with them? Lol..

      @denniskarnes8680 Před 6 lety +2

      Hagge Bänke Axes are designed to cut wood, not steel. Axes only cut through steel in hollywood.

      Depends on which safe you own. ..how well built..and how much metal is in them...mine is 11 ga. Outer 1/4 in. Inner steel ...1/2 inch plate entire door
      You'll need more than an ax

    What happens when you build it piece by piece then you have to move it

    • @BT1776
      @BT1776 Před 6 lety +2

      Nick Reynolds Depending on size, weight and where you are moving to, it may be a good idea to empty out the safe and disassemble it.

    I have an issue with calling these bolt together gun cabinets "safes" or "vaults"...
    And their cost! I can have a Liberty Fat boy delivered and installed for less than the price of this bolt together "super Titan xxl" cabinet...

    You can buy a modular safe for much cheaper. The cheapest model here is 1200$. Not interested.

    • @emceeunderdogrising
      @emceeunderdogrising Před 5 lety

      Secure-it has a great model that is modular. It's called the Model 52. That's what I'm getting next year. There are also small fireproof safes by companies like Sun Welding. But they aren't modular.

    • @dakotahayden6937
      @dakotahayden6937 Před 5 lety +2

      @@emceeunderdogrising Model 52 is not fire rated. It is a gun cabinet not a fire rated safe.

    • @emceeunderdogrising
      @emceeunderdogrising Před 5 lety

      That's exactly what I said. Model 52 is a modular cabinet. But there are fireproof rated safes from companies like Amsec and Sun Welding within the same budget.

      A guy at my work had his house broken into while him and his wife was at work and they stole all his guns jewelry and everything. He told me that would have been the first thing that he bought. He owns one now. For the price of one gun you can protect all your guns.
