This man wins the most organized gun safe ever. I like the ammo boxes on the shelves to show how strong they really are too.

HySkore is the manufacturer for the foam pistol holder. Those clips for the stealth door holder were a pain to get fitted on the top! I love the build BTW. Thank you!

What size are the ammo cans on the bottom. Are they 50 cal fat ammo cans or just standard 50 cal cans. The fat 50’s are 13 inches long

Very nice. Is there a hole drill in the rear for an electric cord?

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 3 lety

Thank you. There is no hole. You would have to drill the steel, cut the insulation panel, and drill through the interior carpeted fiber board.

question?! since it is modular, there are more seams to pry on, so how do you feel about it on the pry resistant? the regular safe is welded. the only seam is from the door to the body. now this safe is got all size seam from the pieces. is it more prone to pry break in? thank you.

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 3 lety +2

I feel a welded seamless unit has the advantage, although the SnapSafe sections bolt together very tightly and don't have wide seams you could easily pry from. I feel the modularity is well worth the potential compromise in security given the difficulty moving a massive heavy safe.

I’m close to getting this safe but it’s almost 1000 lbs empty. How did you know your floors could handle all the weight? I read somewhere you have to reinforce your floors beforehand so I’m a little worried. Thanks

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 3 lety

Standard construction should be fine as long as there's no structural damage. Mine is loaded to the max. No issues whatsoever.

@@-Cold-World that’s awesome thanks for the info. SecureIt safes claim that cheap carpeting can damage your weapons over time. Have you seen any type of wear on any items over the year? And does the safe do okay keeping the moisture out when kept closed and with a dehumidifier inside or is that not enough to keep the moisture from coming in?

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 3 lety

Ive heard about the cheap carpet damaging guns, although I've never seen it first hand. I had a cheap safe for the past 20 years before this Snap-Safe, I don't think the cheap carpet did any damage to my guns. The safe seems to be sealed okay for what you're paying. The rechargeable dehumidifier works well enough, recharging it weekly. I have no rust and live in 70% humidity average summers. Also running a small room dehumidifier in that room.

How was the safe delivered? I live in an apartment so I'm trying to figure out the logistics.

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 4 lety

It was delivered on a semi truck then hand trucked with a pallet jack into my garage. It's very well packaged, getting it unpacked is half the battle. Good luck and thanks for watching!

@@-Cold-World Thanks Mate, Yea I seen em online for $2500 but it looks like they dont have any door panel sets, looks like the shelves are to deep hitting the doors when shut, to bad they didn't make room for pistol pouches.... It just sux that there almost thhe same price as you really good regular Gun Safes like the Liberty Colonial or Cannon.

      @-Cold-World  Před 4 lety

@@BuzzJones Gotcha Buzz! Can't remember the dealer that had It for $2200ish. If I find it I'll let you know. I agree about the door panels, I went with the Stealth door kits & Tuff Mag pouches which added a lot more to the total. The main selling point to me was the modular construction.

I seen the xxl from $3000 as low as $2200 at Maxmysafe.com just now. I'm gonna sleep on it and probably order it but think I will get it if that company is legit. Good Videos btw

    • @-Cold-World
      @-Cold-World  Před 3 lety +1

It's holding up very well, no issues. Just as new. I love this safe. My only complaint is the cheap carpet inside. I wrapped the high trafficked top shelf with Cordura 1000D. I may wrap other surfaces in the future.
