    Good informative video. I recently booked a Baleno for my dad, and I took the Delta, and added the following on top of it for another 74k - smart infotainment system with apple play, rear view camera, Suzuki Connect, under body spoilers, chrome finish all around, leather seats, illuminated door sill, foglamp,premium mat and a couple other features. The car isnt delivered yet, but I have a feeling it will be kickass!

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 6 lety +4

      +pratik nayak The Baleno’s suspension has been tuned as a city run-about. It takes potholes and slightly rough roads really well. So, a huge thumbs up to the suspension and steering departments at Maruti for what they’ve pulled off with the Baleno. The ride & handling is spot on for city driving conditions and the occasional highway jaunts.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety +1

      +Stories of Life Maruti Swift offers a fun and easy drive and it feels quite well made too. After the facelift, Swift is back to its sporty roots, with the chassis tuned for handling than outright comfort. Overall, Maruti Swift is economical and spacious and a enthusiasts car, without compromising on space, practicality and efficiency. On the other hand, The Baleno offers a good fit and finish compared to any other car in the Maruti portfolio and is a step up from the Swift in terms of what it offers. It’s well-equipped, spacious, efficient, and can be fun too.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety +1

      +Om Sai Ram Both the siblings are indeed good options to go for. The Dzire is not only longer than the Baleno but is also more spacious. It offers more knee room at the front as well as the rear. It's cabin is also wider on the inside. It has a rear armrest, rear AC vents and a more supple ride, which will keep the Dzire’s rear occupants more comfortable. On the other hand, if you're looking for a compact daily driver that's easy to manoeuvre around town, the Baleno makes a strong case for itself.

    your fan needs suggestion whether to buy i 20 magna execitive or beleno delta

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety +2

      +Tanveer Khan Both are indeed good options to go for. Hyundai Elite i20 Magna Executive checks all the basic features, worth upgrading from Era. It is the bare minimum that you should be picking up in the Elite i20 2018. Features like rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs and cooled glovebox that you can’t get in the base variant even post purchase, make upgrading to Magna Executive from Era worth the extra money (Price Premium Over Elite i20 Era is Rs 65,000 and 58,000 for the petrol and diesel variants respectively). We wish this variant included rear parking sensors as well.
      Maruti Suzuki Baleno Delta with those added features and some more in its kitty, the price premium you pay is a bit stretched. But then if you are getting all the extra features like Electrically foldable ORVMs with turn indicator, Reverse parking sensors, Music system with AUX/USB/Radio/CD/Bluetooth, Rear defogger, Rear wiper with washer, Automatic climate control etc., fitted by the manufacturer itself, you do get that extra peace of mind and that doesn’t really have a price, does it?! The Baleno in its Delta variant adds more value to the package. Almost all the major features have been ticked here.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 6 lety +1

      +Bobby Richardson Considering your requirements, we would suggest you to pick for Baleno. The Baleno in its Delta variant adds more value to the package. Almost all the major features have been ticked here. But if you want features like alloy wheels and auto headlamps in the recipe, you’ll have to look at the next-in-line variant i.e. Zeta.
      Zeta offers best balance between price and premiumness. Most of those features are beefing up the convenience factor for the owner. If you are the sort of person who likes the car to take control of some things automatically and doesn’t ask you to insert the key to start the engine, the Zeta variant is the one for you.

    For rural roads which car u recommend under 7 lakhs? My concern is regarding the ground clearance. Grand i10 just offers 165mm. Nd boaleno 170mm wch would be good. @cardekho  Před 4 lety +1

      +sagar lg Both the cars are good enough. Well, both the cars offer similar power performance and 5mm doesn't make a big difference. Baleno would be a good option if you want a spacious car and it looks upmarket also. On the other hand, Grand i10 offers a smooth driving experience with great interior quality. Apart from these cars, you may go for Ford Freestyle also. It has a ground clearance of 190mm and it offers good power performance with good drive quality.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 4 lety +1

      +nilanjan kundu Well, Sigma being the base variant of Maruti Baleno packs all the essential safety kit but it misses out on several necessities that you expect on a premium hatchback. Moreover, rear passengers don’t get adjustable headrests or power windows either. But while it lacks features, it makes for the perfect variant if your budget doesn’t allow for a better-equipped variant. On the other hand, the Vxi variant gets all the basic features right and this is the package that most WagonR buyers will be happy to live with. Now if you really want to upgrade to a bigger car from an entry-level hatchback, the WagonR 1.2MT Vxi is a good package.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety

      +Harish T N If you are travelling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

      @cardekho  Před 6 lety

      +Ravi Sheker The Baleno offers good fit and finish compared to any other car in the Maruti portfolio. One of the biggest advantages of having the Baleno over the completion is the access to Maruti’s unmatched after sales and service network. It offers the perfect balance of performance, features & quality.
      On the other hand, Nexon is sorted mechanically with two powerful engines. Inside, it is loaded with features and has a lot of space to get comfortable over longer journeys. With the aggressive pricing, the Nexon is one of the most value for money SUVs out there.
      If you need the added ground clearance and a SUV appeal then Nexon makes a ideal choice. Otherwise, you can't go wrong by buying a Maruti car in India. :)

    baleno alpha petrol ya i20 diesel ???

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 6 lety +2

      +Anil Ingole Choosing between the fuel type would depend on your car daily/monthly usage.
      For instance, if you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

      +Nishant Patil Selecting between the petrol and diesel fuel type would depend on your daily or average monthly running with the car. If you drive for an average of around 50 kilometres or more in a day then we'd recommend you to go with the diesel engine or vice versa. Moreover, buying a BS4-compliant car would not be an issue. • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety

      +nitin singh Here as per your needs and requirements better pick would be Honda WR-V. With a beefed-up chassis, longer-travel suspension, larger rims and bigger tyres the WR-V holds promise. It can tackle manholes, potholes and ditches very well. It soaks up the worst of shocks with only the slightest of thuds creeping into the cabin. With the healthy ground clearance, the WRV can be comfortably used for some mild rough roading.

      +Shaharsh Agarwal Both the cars are good offerings from Maruti and are of different segment. Dzire is practical, feature rich compact sedan which has a smooth petrol engine too. On the other hand Baleno offers the perfect balance of performance, features & quality. If you are looking for a premium hatchback then you may go for Baleno. If we talk about life of the, it will totally depend on how it will be maintained. Both the cars are easy for pocket to maintain. Asking for a genuine suggestion from experts. Which car should i go for, Baleno Alpha or Maruti Suzuki Swift ZXI plus.?

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety +3

      +Joby Varghese Here both the cars are of different segments, Swift which is a hatchback and Baleno is a premium hatchback car. The Swift is smaller in size than the Baleno and is also less spacious on the inside. However, three in the backseat over shorter distances won’t complain. The Baleno’s rear bench can accommodate three passengers in better comfort compared to the Swift. It also has a bigger boot. So it’s better for those who go out for road trips with family or friends more often. Swift’s ride is on the firmer side although it’s not bone-jarring. But road uncertainties filter into its cabin more compared to the Baleno. Baleno is comfortable at most speeds. The suspension setup soaks road inconsistencies better than the Swift. Now comparing the variants gives the result that Swift ZXi+ is cheaper than Baleno Alpha variant. In the ZXi+ variant you get a redesigned headlamp unit that packs LED projector headlamps along with daytime running lights (DRLs), the audio system makes way for a 7-inch SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system that also brings you the convenience of a rear parking camera with guidelines. Indeed, this variant looks and feels a lot more modern than the others. Talking about the Alpha variant it is feature loaded though overpriced. Moreover, the purchase decision completely depends on one's choice and preference, do take the test drive of the car to pick the one that matches your needs and requirements.

      +Animikh Chakrabarty Don't worry. You can't go wrong with either. Like we've said on multiple occasions - both are proper family cars. But, we'd give the edge to the Dzire if the car is going to be driven with passengers most of the time. If you'll be driving solo, it's the Baleno that we'd pick.

      Thankq sir... And one more doubt, which is best car when compared swift dzire vxi or baleno delta petrol variant?

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 5 lety

      +Yuva raj Both the siblings are indeed good options to go for. Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi gets body-coloured ORVMs (with turn signals), door handles along with chrome surround for the grille. The same set of wheels are offered with this trim level as well, however, it gets full wheel cover.
      On the inside, it comes with faux-wood and brushed aluminium-like inserts. A non-touch double-din audio system featuring Bluetooth phone integration and steering-mounted controls is offered, and it is coupled to a four-speaker system. The LXi/LDi-like manual air conditioning gets rear AC vents. Also offered are rear centre armrest, power windows, rear power socket and electronically adjustable ORVMs. The front seats get adjustable headrest and it also offers height-adjustable driver seat.
      As for safety, the V variants adds an anti-theft security system, central locking with auto door lock, and night and day adjustable internal rear view mirror.
      On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki Baleno Delta covers all basics but incremental cost on the higher side. With the added features (Electrically foldable ORVMs with turn indicators, Reverse parking sensors, Music system with AUX/USB/Radio/CD/Bluetooth, Automatic climate control, Rear defogger) and some more in its kitty, the price premium you pay is a bit stretched. But then if you are getting all the extra features fitted by the manufacturer itself, you do get that extra peace of mind and that doesn’t really have a price, does it?! The Baleno in its Delta variant adds more value to the package. Almost all the major features have been ticked here. But if you want features like alloy wheels and auto headlamps in the recipe, you’ll have to look at the next-in-line variant i.e Zeta.

For someone who is new to the premium hatchback segment but wants a car with decent features which can help him get a comfortable journey, this is the best variant.

They also decrease the unsprung weight, and because of this lower weight, there is an improvement in the car's handling, particularly in steering precision. Also, adds to improved cosmetic appearance over steel wheels. So, you have get it fitted from the authorized service center.

      +Shubam Jalotra The one that has it all! The Elite i20 brings a sense of class and features to this segment like no other. Premium build, loads of kit on offer, looks that turns heads and space for five. If you want to buy the Baleno because everyone else is, go ahead. It truly is a well-rounded package. We’re glad ABS and dual airbags are standard no matter what variant you choose. Baleno and Elite i20 both the cars are from premium hatchback segment and have good features list. If we talk about power performance Baleno and Elite i20 both have similar power figures in petrol version whereas, i20 has more power than Baleno in diesel version. If we talk about fuel efficiency then, Baleno has a upper hand in both petrol and diesel versions.

      +Shubam Jalotra As per your requirement we would suggest you to opt for Hyundai Elite i20 Spotz petrol. Although, if safety is your major concern then we would suggest you to stretch your budget and pick for its Asta (O) variant as it gets six airbags.

      +Goutham Roks If you need more power and a bigger fuel tank then we'd suggest you go for the Ford Figo whereas, if you need more mileage, better features and better service centre then you can opt for the Maruti Baleno. However, before the final decision. take a test drive of both the vehicles to understand the power and comfort better. Follow the link for dealership details: bit.ly/2MWdH4S

    Sir , I want to purchase a baleno .
    I drive approx 1000 km per month.
    I am confused between delta MT and delta CVT , The difference between both is more than 1 lakh , I want to know that after three or four years when I will sale the car which variant will give me more value for money.

      @user-oh1ou5we6d Před 6 lety

      I can drive both but want to know , Is it good to invest more than 1 lakh rupees in CVT because we don't have too much traffic and Do I get 50 k more after 4 to 5 years using CVT other than MT.

    • @cardekho
      @cardekho  Před 6 lety +1

      +कैलाश दान The Baleno in its Delta variant adds more value to the package. Almost all the major features have been ticked here. As per the car usage, we would suggest you opt for Petrol variant only and picking for transmission will depend on your driving requirements. Manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, go with the CVT.
      Also, do take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.
      On the other hand, re-sale value of a car depends on how it was maintained, driven, car condition etc. So, it would be unfair to give a verdict as of now. Albeit, you need not to worry as Maruti has strong hold in this area.

      +Manmohani Kour If you are looking for a family car and looking for better power and safety and often tackles bad road conditions, you may go for Nexon on the other hand, Baleno would be a better pick if you want better fuel efficiency and and more premiumness.
      Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride in order to clear your all doubts.
