Nobody says that daemon is perfect, everyone here in the series is bad, the difference is that daemon doesn't do things in secret like the others, I'm not saying that what he did to Rhaenyra is fine, but he also suffers, everyone there is poor Rhaenyra, just in case. She lost Daemon, she also lost her daughter and her brother, of course, he wanted it in his own way, he just wanted Viserys to keep him by his side, he told her in the first chapter, no one will protect you like me, he told her that Otto is only looking for his own. benefit and there this viserys preferred to believe otto and there are the consequences otto sent alicent to viserys's room and then he married her and now they took the throne from rhaenyra they all do bad things but they all only criticize daemon, otto to how many people He did not threaten in chapter 1x9 and 2 people who were loyal to Rhaenyra died. Alicent realized it and did not care about it when the worker that Aegon took by force was Alicent, she silenced the girl just so that no one would notice. it What does Aegon do? Maybe he knows how Harwin and his father died, but even so, he remains silent because he prefers to have Larys as a clear ally, but his excuse is for the good of the throne and to protect himself and his 2 children, who are from The worst thing for Rhaenyra to marry Daemon doesn't care that Daemon will kill someone innocent just to make Leanor pass for dead. What I don't like is that the writers in the series want women to be weaker than men and in The books is not like that, Rhaenyra and Alicent are more ambitious and if Daemon really wanted the throne, he would have already killed Viserys, it would be much the same as Rhaenyra. No one matters to him, the only thing that matters to him is his family because he knows that Otto and Alicent will not stay still as long as they are a threat to Aegon and Otto and Alicent know that as long as Daemon is on Rhaenyra's side, that does not suit them.

Otto isn't selfishly motivated. He's doing what he believes is best for his family and the realm. If it was just about his power, he would have objected when Viserys fired him.

@@SamFictionFantasyFun Thanks for replying, I'm actually watching it for the first time (I'm on season 2 episode 4) and I gotta say... it's really good so far, perhaps somewhat Underrated maybe... I started watching it on netflix because I was bored lol and I'm thinking to my self why haven't I watched this before? 🤣 and now I'm wondering why more people haven't watched this show??? it's like "Vikings" and "Game of Thrones" mashed together 🤣
Thanks for the video links... I'll definitely watch them after I've finished the show, I've really enjoyed watching your reaction videos and listening to the afterthoughts specifically on HOTD. Keep up the good work. 👍

Great video; must have put a lot of work into it with the editing and music! I’ve really been enjoying your Witcher podcast as I read the books; I will definitely need your breakdown for ToC chapter 4 to make sure I didn't miss anything in it.

Thanks for noticing all the work! It took sooo much time lol I started working on this shortly after the season ended in October 😂
And I'm glad you like the Witcher podcast! Let me know your thoughts when you get to that episode. Such a great and game changing chapter

This was an amazing series analysis. You captured the nuances and connections extremely well. I know the actresses, Emily Carey and Millie Alcock portrayed Allicent and Rhaenyra as lovers although it is never verbally stated in the show. If this is why Allicent felt so betrayed I could understand her anger.
However, Rhaenyra never lied to Allicent which I noticed many reactors indicating, Allicent point blank asked, Did you f**** Daemon? Rhaenyra said no because she didn’t. It doesn’t matter that she wanted to, that wasn’t the question. Rhaenyra was deceitful for eluding that she was still a pure maiden. Other than that you blew me away with your stunning analysis and the way this video was edited. Very well done indeed.

Incorrect. Rhaenyra swore on her dead mother that Daemon "never touched her". That was a lie.
Further, if an actor says something that contradicts what is shown, I tend to disregard it. That's simply her interpretation. Kind of like how everyone associated with GoT said Jamie didn't grape Cersei at Jeffrey's wake.

@@havok6280When she said Daemon never touched her she meant sexual intercourse which they did not have. She misled Alicent to believing she was still untouched in that way because Alicent didn’t know about Cristin Cole.

Great Video. Though No one can answer why Alicent wants Aegon as king? Cause her motivations make no sense.

But that's obvious. It's her son, he is the eldest male son , he has a strong claim to the throne and alicent thinks that visery's choose him. Aegon is really the natural heir according to tradition and law. Rheynera poses a threat , her claim is illigitimate because she has two bastard sons. Alicent's legitimate children pose a thread as long as they live and would be killed. Even if Rheynera would choose to spare them , her son would not. She explains that to aegon in Episode 6.

Even if you're a man, having bastards is an issue. Just ask Aegon IV...
