    good afternoon friend, thank you very much for all your videos, they have taught me a lot and thanks to you I have been able to start recording and making music in garageband. but I want to give you a support, there are people who do not know how to speak English (thank goodness there is a google translator) and I have seen videos of other youtubers that come with subtitles in Spanish (I am writing to you from the Canary Islands, Spain) it would be appreciated and you would surely win many more followers if there were translation below and we could understand much more what you teach us. You are a very good musician, you explain everything very well and I follow you and watch each of your videos, thanks for helping us. Greetings.

    Great indepth video! I've got mine but struggling with the levels, normal singing its ok but seems to get too loud when i reach a crecendo or whatever.
    Is there generally a rule of thumb audio level wise (i.e master at 70%, guitar at 60% and mic at 70% (louder than guitar)

    I've just got one of these and have a slight problem. I had to download the app to record onto my android phone with (which is fine) but when I play videos back there is a popping noise during the quiet sections and when I have more instruments playing, the track jumps massively and skips throughout. Do you think this is a level issue or because I've got 2 synths and a drum machine all going into the stereo in? Thanks

So you don't have to record the tracks separatly and then sync them together? (yes, Mr Untechnical Greenhorn asking here...)

    • @PeteJohnsMusic
      @PeteJohnsMusic  Před 3 lety

      Hey there Samuel. Yup, it will send a mix of the source track and your playing to the device and stream/record everything together. If you want separate tracks you would need to record individually and mix using something like GarageBand - czcams.com/video/M_3ZzImE0-E/video.html

    Hello
    I am new to these topics, I have some doubts I would like you to guide me
    Would it also work as a desktop interface on a PC?

    Can you connect more than one iOS device at the same time, for example: the iPad to make music in Aum and an iPhone to record separately?
    Or that you would recommend me for what I want to do?

    I’m really curious how good the preamp sounds. When I bought my Scarlett 2i2 compared to the iRig for guitar, the difference was night and day. Especially with the bass guitar. The preamp on the Scarlett gave the bass that super pro sound. Made me realize the iRig sounded like a wet fart. I’m assuming this GO MIXER is kinda niche for social media use. At least that’s how they seem to be marketing it.

    I just picked mine up last week and I have also heard that they are not going to be shipping anymore. Can’t get them on amazon or the major music stores here in Canada. I landed the demo one in a store because I was there as the first customer since they were closed for over two months and was told there may be one at that store. I know there was one more left in Canada at a store in Montreal as shortly after purchasing it, I received a call from there online order support and the staffer by coincidence happened to be a former student of mine. I almost bought the second one in case a friend wanted one. Not sure about the initial input gain. Seems to me that the the main control was for playback only and the other four pots are for the actual input volume control for the specific connections. I used mine with the roland4xcamera app to make a split-screen video for my granddaughter. The camera app is free for a two split-screen experience and up to 4 split-screens with the in-app upgrade of approximately $4-5 Cdn. The Roland equipment is great but the support videos are almost this side of useless, especially for the camera app. Thanks for this demo of the Go:Mixer Pro.

      It does seem to be missing that one feature doesn't it? I keep reaching for a master output to go with the master input - or vice versa... I'm still a little confused!!

      Yeah. But by considering the number of inputs it has, it outperforms others. In my opinion, when we adjust the input from GarageBand, it introduces higher hiss.
