Helpful overview - thanks! Now wondering whether this might be the way to go for my vocals and guitar (mostly acoustic, either miced or via cable/pickup), or rather the brand-new, ultra-compact Rode AI-Micro interface might be better, also in consideration of the associated app they are offering (with compression, effects, etc.). Obviously that would necessitate using some kind of preamp or adapter to get the pickup signal into the Rode, but micing the guitar up should work great and sound better anyhow. So talking „quick & dirty“, I‘m considering that, despite the sexy plethora of connections possible with the Roland. Your take?

Hello! Congratulations for the video, very useful!
If I connect a powerbank to not drain the battery of the smartphone (or to use the Phantom), unfortunately the USB input would be occupied by this.
Question: If I use a split USB cable (one input for charging and the other for audio) it may work?

During a conversation on an ig stream , will the person on the other end be able to hear me and everything i have connected to the roland mixer? i used a roland go mixer and when i got on an ig live conversation the iphone mic was now in use and i heard the other person out the phone speaker.

Can we use this with Instagram live?
I tried with 2 people, me and my friend . But there was no sound from 2nd live person in headphones connected to this mixer .. 2nd persons audio is routed to my iPhones speaker .. any solution?

Hello lovely channel: Here is my Gear...
An acoustic Martin D18 guitar with a K&K mini pickup installed. A SHURE beta 87a phantom powered mic. A STOMP BOX made by ORTEGA and a Fishman Loudbox Artist amplifier.
Here is the question; I know the GO gives a dry signal, would it be a better idea to use DIRECT LINE IN LINE OUT and connect the amp to the GO? Would I then need to monitor with my headset in my amp or monitor with my headset plugged into the GO? Would the settings on my AMP have effect on the sound,...I mean is for example chorus and echo noted while monitoring? And the other question: Will my iPhone use the build in mic also when plugged in the GO?
