It’s weird how Botox that’s overdone can make you end up looking worse. Ricky’s 11’s looked good on him & it enhanced the expressiveness in his face. His face now looks swollen & somewhat frozen. Oh Ricky, step away from the Botox!

@@graceperiod5352 a little bit of Botox or filler to remove dark under eyes or define the jaw line with radiesse probably won’t diminish good looks,and they have done miracles for me, literally. But guys filling cheeks and then injecting Botox to make the muscles immovable is the worst thing one could do to themselves. My grandma used to get fillers and Botox all over her face and neck, and by the time she passed away she looked like Zsa Zsa Gabor in the 90s, it’s like all of a sudden she started doing Chinese face. And she wasn’t even Chinese. Personally I would only recommend Radiesse if you have poor facial bone structure, and fillers only if you have a sever loss of volume in the face and look like a scrawny wrinkly apricot. Start Botox early and preserve your face till you die.

Why not enjoy looking older? What's the purpose of looking younger? If you're not working your way up the corporate ladder, or looking to make babies, why do you need to compete with younger people? Why not look good at your own actual age?

I see a tendency with people having cosmetic procedures to try to keep looking like their younger selves, trying to be the best version of yourself at your age would be a better approach IMO, Ricky does look more feminine and not necessarily younger.
Do you remember Aussie cricketer Shane Warne? He had a handsome manly appearance then he got together with Liz Hurley and he perhaps used the same surgeon as Ricky. His face became smooth and feminine - it's almost as if they don't need to shave anymore. Such a shame. Both handsome men beforehand. "Be the best version of yourself." I like that👏
Ricky might be following the androgynous look as is an international celebrity. He will end up looking weird long term as not natural look .
@@newsupdate6773 He's been working in show business since he was a kid, his face is one of the most recognizable on the planet, being an international celebrity is not new to him, he usually follows trends in fashion and music, not in the way his face looks. He wanted to look younger and ended up looking more feminine, like the Doctor explained quite well. I hope he stops messing with his face before he ends up looking unrecognizable holding on to youth, relevance and popularity.

He looked so much better before, he looks like a stereotypical old gay guy (which is not an attractive look in my opinion). The bleached hair and the weird gender fluid clothes also don't flatter him. He also looks really old for 49, I thought he was 65 or something from his latest video.
You literally took every word out my mind. He does look very old and feminine now. Plus, he gives off the energy that he does not look happy with his new look, even his confidence has diminished.

He has lost his looks.
The problem is that lots of people don’t notice what they look like and lose the eye for that. My injector told me that if I want a touch up he will look at me first and decide if I need it. He doesn’t want people to look weird and unnatural.

i think he gained weight, and maybe a little filler. don't really notice any difference besides age. also botox in-between eyebrows. His eyebrows are almost downturned no as opposed to straight and serious. don't think he looks bad at all imo, weight gain is the most obvious thing to me.

Of course he has. I don't know of any celebrity who hasn't had something done. The thing is none of it looks natural. I don't look at someone who's had plastic surgery and think my goodness they look young. I look at them and think you are a 40 plus person who's had surgery. I don't understand the desperate need. A face needs character. All celebs are morphing into the joker. Its really rather sad..

A little off topic, but I went to a Ricky Martin concert back in 2015 and it was AMAZING! I was shocked how good it was and I’d have to say it was the one of the best concerts I’ve been too. He has done well with aging and keeping his energy going.

His attractive looks were based primarily on his youth which has now left him. Many people are quite beautiful in youth but quite changed in middle age and beyond. A good example is Queen Elizabeth. She was an absolutely ravishing beauty until she hit middle age. You can't escape your genes.

I really appreciate how professional you are when analyzing celebrities looks. It makes me sad to see people picking on others looks or shaming a celebrity because they look overdone(or simply different due to aging or non invasive procedures).

Good point! There are some medicaments that cause gain weight and he would not want the world to know he takes them.

eld2310, this surgeon really doesnt look like he has had anything done at all. The only thing i notice is that he does not have any frown lines at all. I think he is just naturally good looking.

It looks like a bit of fluid retention. I hope it has more to do with overzealous use of fillers and botox and nothing to do with his heath.
For those of you that are commenting about his appearance: he explained that near the day the video was shoot, he had a vitamin infusion and that in that day, for a weird reason, he got inflamed with it and looked bloated.
He is now looking like his normal self, showed that he does not have botox, moved his entire face without any problem, he actually looked like his normal self and the video with him explaining was funny.

Ricky put out a video today where he looks great. He says he didn’t do anything to his face. He says the only thing he did that day was get a vitamin iv drip that he had a reaction to and that is probably why he looked like that. He really doesn’t look at all like in this video.

But do Ricky really what that old look ? obviously not cuz he changed his face to a more feminin look, and he is also gay, which makes he´s face makeover more realistic. That’s so interesting. I would guess he’s just a little older. I find that when people age and their face gets wrinkles and some sagging and settling, in a natural way, I don’t think any of this is bad.
But when this happens and they color all the grey and still wear pretty much the same perfect looking hairstyle of their younger years, I personally think it looks discordant, and off.
To me, it would be my guess, Ricky is just older, and with no gray or new hairstyle going for him, it seems like something is off when the rest of him looks older and his hair still looks like it belongs on someone much younger.
I think that’s why it looks a little off plus - what was he wearing? A dress and a fancy feminine necklace? Well if he’s happy, that’s fine by me too. Every one should be happy and dress as they like.
But I enjoyed the video. I like hearing about all the different procedures and surgeries that people sometimes do.
My mom and other family worked for MGM studios long, long ago, and my mom used to tell me some of the beauty tricks that were used on the actors to make them look a certain way. So I enjoy hearing about these things.
