It’s so crazy how there won’t be any WW2 vets left soon. My grandpa was in the navy in the Pacific. I didn’t think about it while he was alive, but having a connection to that generation was so important. He just seemed to know how to do everything. Iirc I read somewhere that said he's flying a "slower" plane, but the fact that he can do it at that age is so fucking incredible. I'm not even American but I thank him for his service.
its going slower thus less gforce. how g force makes people pass out is forcing your blood to your legs. they COULDNT go as fast with him in for health and safety reasons. could literally kill for go even half as fast as they were with the kids.
It's incredible that he is still able to fly a plane, but tbh you cannot undermine how faster the younger generation are going, no matter what experience you got,
@BungWasHere it's the same plane dude lmfao. G-forces exceed 1g when manipulating the plane by accelerating or turning. He could cruise at 1000mph and be fine if the acceleration to get there isn't insane. All of these videos took place at a slower speed than the cruising speed of a jetliner.

It's incredible that he is still able to fly a plane, but tbh you cannot undermine how faster the younger generation are going, no matter what experience you got,
@@blitzandflankyeah for an old person. That draining of blood can lead to a lot pf complications. If they went the same speed he’d be asleep too.
@@booker4984the other ones are no way faster than what the WW2 veteran experienced if they were faster they will be in the cementery by now
Casually scanning the joint, man's got a neck built Ford tough
He's looking like " Hello, old friend"
“Man fuck the radar. I got eyes”
That made me want to tear up. 96 and probably thought he’d never get that opportunity again. Like an absolute boss he went back and was right in his elements. God bless you and thank you for you service!
bro he is 96 years young how can you say it like that
If that made u tear up
You bettt don't use internet
@@cat-des650because old is old kiddo. the old man himself would tell you that he knows he’s old.
@@kalmhal6087if someone's comment made you want to reply with a rude one, you "bettt don't use internet," whatever that dumpster fire of a sentence meant.
@@Woof_Atchuthat you for saying that. 🫡 people like this dude really piss me off.
Mfers like this make me wish we could get rid of anonymity on the internet and just band the rude or disrespectful people from the internet.
Bro is ready for round 2
Grandpa flew mustangs in '44'💀💀
In fairness, some of these planes look like they're flying and turning a lot faster than the ww2 plane.
That's what I was going to say
That's what she said
Oh nah, in that first shot I think he was rotating faster than the others
the man looks like 90 he probably didnt even get a 3 g clearing, you cant compare a grandpa to a teen cardiovascularly…
@@r0xdab0x96xoYou can fly a roll sustaining one G and not have nearly as much strain as in a snaproll…
Haha the ultra instinct of looking out for the enemies
Grandpa : Not a common occurrence to fly again
Might worth to check the airspace
If lucky I have a chance to either dogfighting or completely one sided battle with missiles
I may old but I ain't got nothing to lose 🗿
"Where the enemy at?"😂
He is like :Is there any signal for an enemy kids ??????
He looks so happy it's best thing we can do to our heroes
I mean one is modern fighters one is ww2 this probably has a large impact
usa army aint no hero bro, they ruin everywhere they can step on to
‘heroes’ 🤣🤣🤣

@@justanotheruser5479ou are acting edgy, you don't even know what they went through in the world War.
The last flight wasnt pulling hard G's 😂. Anyway nice to see an old pilot enjoy being back in his plane.
Those prop planes don't go fast enough to push G's. But it's very nice to see old people doing cool stuff.
@@dethtouryea.. he'd be toast in a jet. Not bad for grandpa, but comparing modern speeds to propeller planes is misinformation
Putting the boss music at the end like it’s intense af but it’s just an old dude being calmly chauffeured.
@@dethtourProp planes can actually pull some G's, in thid case it just didn't, since they had an old guy in the back
Alot of ww2 fighters can experience up to 9 g of force pilots start greying out around 3 gs and pass out at 5 gs that's for non trained pilots mainly just because these planes don't fly at mach speeds doesn't mean they can't experience g forces planes like the p 51 fly around 430 to 440 mph taking a tight turn or pulling up sharply will apply said forces regardless of speed
Veteran - " G-Force ? Who ?😂
The thumbs up really proved that he was in his element
Getting older doesn’t mean getting weaker that man is such a testimony to strength ❤
Come on! Of course you get weaker as you get older.
Who tell you that getting older doesn't mean weaker kid. 😂

also be prepared to have it all be bullshit, look at the scenery behind the old guy and the others, they def took it easy on grandpa and prob rightfully so.
mentally clearly is stronger than young guys

When he started to scan the skies i got chills for real that mentality never leaves your soul.
Ok
It’s not supposed to after basic
He was just enyoing the viev
Even though it's been decades, he still has his training. You can see him instantly focus and scan the area for bandits or check the instruments.
"Bandits"
Or he's just enjoying the view
Yhea except for the fact that he didnt. What was he suppossed to do, close his eyes?
It's not what he did it's how he did it , the way he scanned one way had a glance top and then the other side was deffo what he would of been doing inside dogfights , most people pass out
everyone looks around though.
