  • This time I have a break from welding and take a look at a fresh set of YZF600r bike carbs, then go over of how I instaled them onto the 2.0 Pinto in my Capri and try to get it running again. This was filmed in February, but if you'd like to keep more up-to-date just head over to my Instagram page below.

HI. Hope this is not a daft question... Did you have to upgrade the fuel pump when you put on the bike carbs and if you did what fuel pump did you use? I'm assuming that you don't need quite the pressure that a fuel injection system requires!

Do I need to fabricate a new throttle cable to run a bike carb or not? Also do I have to use a bike fuel filter or can I just use my stock filter?

Bang up install, is that a SOHC 2000 or 2300? I have a fuel injected 2300 in a 1995 US Ford Ranger and I'm absolutely done with chasing sensor issues and I haven't decided if I'm going to use a single 2 venturi downdraft or 4 sidedrafts..

Do you know what year of bike these carbs came off of?
