i’m very much a beginner, i got my first toy drone at christmas and i’ve since upgraded to a bugs 3(love it). i like your videos because you explain things i don’t know in a way i can understand. now i’ve seen an inexpensive fpv i think this might just be my next purchase. i’m from scotland so its not ice i need to watch for - its rain. lots and lots of rain so indoor is the way forward 👍😂
Indeed, a great little combo for under $60.. If your not sure if you will like fpv and have never flown a drone, this is a great option.

Addictive? I'm sure it can be. Though in my case, it can also be frustrating. Ive been flying quadcopters line of sight for over 6 years (mostly manual ones like Symas etc.) I just started FPV recently with a Beta65 Lite and I'm find it has more speed and power than what I'm used to. Using it indoors is incredibly hard. Plus it has weird behavour like turning by itself when it first lifts off which makes progress hard. I thought I was improving with my FPV flying but then I regressed and got worse. After a while, I just kept crashing seconds after lift off - partly due to the quad's weird behaviour and partly due to my flying getting worse. It's certainly not fun any more.
I think I'll give up on the Beta65 Lite and get an Eachine E013 instead. I do get the impression it's a more mellow / docile flyer which would suit me better.

I am not a fan of Betafpv. That being said, sounds as if your accelerometer is out of calibration and your camera up-tilt is too high..
If you're flying your little quadcopter and it's fighting with you, wanting to go left to right or forward to quickly or even trying to backup when you're just chilling, your accelerometer probably needs to be calibrated. On a perfectly level surface, do the calibration and bring it to a hover los, It shouldn't drift.. Betafpv's accelerometers are constantly needing recalibrated, every time you bump into something, ridiculous. My Mobula6 can crash over and over with no issues, can't say the same of my 2 Betafpv whoops.. That's one thing I would look at..
Next, I would look at your up-tilt of the camera. Make sure your camera is positioned at 20 degrees or more level. You should fly more slowly at level, if you're up tilt is 30 or 40 degrees it's going to cause you to fly really fast. If you're not skilled, You Can't Fly Fast! Yet... So, the more level your camera is pointing straight out of the quadcopter the slower you'll fly.. Take your time, ask questions, and Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
@@propsoff I don't think the camera angle is adjustable with the stock canopy. And yea I calibrate the Beta65 on a level surface before every FPV session. Though the weird thing is that it yaws without any input from me. Often, it turns to the right after I take off. Actually, once I was hovering it line of sight and it yawed 180 degrees all by itself.

Plug into Betaflight and watch the "receiver tab" with the radio powered on and sticks centered.. Does the little virtual quadcopter in the bottom of the screen rotate round and round?
@@propsoff From what Ive read, this particular model doesn't run Betaflight. I believe it runs Silverware. Though I'm not sure if I can access that either as I only have the toy transmitter.

Steve I think the only solution that makes any sense here is to trade in your current vehicle for an airport de-icing truck. You can then just spray down your tiny whoop preflight each time. ❄️✈️👍

Just ordered on of these. I definatley wanted a race drone, but too much complexity or too expensive. This will bridge the gap between my blade inductrix I've been flying for quite a while. I got good at flying in "acro" line of sight. Little disappointed that it dosen't have that mode, but I figure this will be a good way to get used to fpv without risking much. Then I'll move on to somthing more advanced later, but keep this one for roaming around the house :) good review. Can't wait to get mine!
The E013 is a good fpv starter. A little secret Boldclash has a B03 pro frame kit for under 10$ that comes with 716 motors for more power. When you break a frame or burn out an original motor look up the B03 pro frame kit to take the E013 to the next level
The E013 is plug and play just like the B03 pro. I own both
The B03 pro is getting hard harder to find and also going up in price i have noticed so it would be best to jump on it quickly
I own 2 one having the 25mw black B06-05 tx cam AIO fpv combo and one having the 200mw clear F02H Pro-C tx cam AIO fpv combo.
The stock batteries are ok for beginners but i recomend some HV GNB 300mah for a more advanced flight. And bound to a jumper or multiprotocol transmitter. I use the IRangeX i8X-IR8M and 19000kv motors.

This is what I was going to buy as my first step into fpv because it's cheaper than emax's, but I couldn't find it in any store so I bought EMAX Ez Pilot instead.. Glad I bought the emax than eachine because eachine is more toy like than the emax...
Good video. Cute but if it flys like the E58 the infamous X drone. Mine when you turn right it yaws left. Flyable but not a Tello.
Can you give me a link of the big battery that you used for the drone? If original battery can fly it for 5 or 6 minutes then the big battery that you used will definitely fly it for 10 minutes, am i right?
Looks very cool. However the trees have eaten any non alt hold drone I have owned . I find them very frustrating even though I spent quite a while trying to get the feel.
Love the enthusiasm Cap'n - looks great fun - there are many variations on these little FPV drones now - all quite similar - so a price hunt may be in order before you buy?? - Shame about the non suability of the goggles if you wear glasses - my problem too 😉👀

It is just your typical 1 cell lipo battery. They come in all shapes. Just look for batteries for a Tiny Whoop. Be sure to get the same connector.

Not this model... I'm not sure exactly what receiver is in it.
It seems that I have to reset the trim every time I change the battery on mine. Which is a little irritating, considering the short fly time for each battery.
Sounds like one or more of your props are no longer perfect. The slightest imperfection will cause drift.
this drone no longer exists with the goggles version. In banggood, there is only without goggle version. I searched a lot to find the complete version but i couldn't find it because i think i no longer exist in the market. if it doesn't exist in the market, is there any similar drone with the same price and same flight time you could tell me about?

This is a VERY OLD VIDEO, I did not know that Banggood or anyone still sold this model. If it does not work, there is a chance you may be doing something wrong. I have not had this drone in many, many years, so I don't remember anything about it.
Hi the battery part on the bottom of the drone came off the drone and will not go back on so it is unusable it won't power up you can't plug a battery into it it's unusable 150% and that EACHINE 013 SMALL PEPPER looked good but never worked at all Banggood is the worst site I have ever ordered from I thought maybe you would know something I didn't but I love your videos watch them and I use them to decide if I'm going to buy a drone or not I have like three different other guys on CZcams that I use and you're one of them so cheers keep flying and I guess I just lose the money for that one you know I guess when you order online I got screwed or at least from banggood I got screwed

i wonder if you could help me out. i received mine a couple days ago. charged the batteries did a first flight. controls are ok but my problem is with the img. i find it tooo bright indoors, i tried it out doors but its even more impossible to see anything there. i looked at the settings on googles, brought down the brightness and saturation and what not but its still very bright. is there something i'm missing? comparing mine to yours, i see my googles has 2 antenas while yours has only one. i thought putting both antenas would give me more range, am i wrong?

It is addictive and very different with the hand, eye, brain coordination. Once you get the hang of it, then FPV becomes easy with most any drone.

Depends on the charger. If you use the included one, it should be under an hour since the battery is so small.
Could you possibly mod the controller to mod 3?
I'm not sure, but probably in a physical way but you'd have to somehow mod the App flight controls.

Nope
Do the fat shark goggles change the range you can get compared to the eachine goggles?
The Range all depends on the video transmitter in the drone. The clarity/reception of the video transmission is up to both the type of antennas used on the goggles and the goggles ability to filter out noise and display a clean picture.

I bought one off Banggood and it won’t bind I’ve tried everything from troubleshooting to regular stuff and none of ot works
It is supposed to come BOUND in the box. Power it on and you are up and flying. If you need to bind it, then you must have purchased a used one with no instructions.

Nope. FPV drones do not use phones because the signal is outside the Phone speckrum.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have acro mode. I assume it has angle mode which most quadcoptders have.

This was my first fpv drone. I enjoyed it. It moves very stable and slow for that very first fpv experience. The only real con is the yaw is snappy and not smooth. For under $60, you cannot go wrong. My daughter is still to this day, beating it around the house after a couple years.
If you have the money, get the tinyhawk bundle - better future proofing but more than twice the money.

Get a new battery. The included battery is only good if you don't run it until it dies (out of power). This is how all Lipos work, so anyone who flys such drones usually has at least 5 batteries.
