Been flying this kit for a few weeks now and I'm blown away by how good it is compared to my old quads with cc3d boards and older yet kk boards. I've got this out to 900 meters very comfortably and ran out of field. Solid quad. I love these 4" long range quads

I NEVER liked FPV "in a box" combo, but this is a WHOLE new level!!!
I hope other companies follow suit and make a combo that is freestyle or other types of FPV.
I just bought my first drone on Christmas, which was a DJI Mini 2. After a few months with the Mini 2, I started researching about FPV, so I decided that my next drone will probably be an FPV drone. God knows when I will buy another because it is a BIG investment, so probably in a few years. Anyway, great video as always.
Sell your DJI mini bro and get into fpv. You wouldn't regret it, I'm usually against RTF kits too but this one is actually pretty decent products in one. I would definitely suggest a pre-built quad for your first quad. Then you can slowly get accustomed to the parts and other things as you slowly replace/fix your parts..
But seriously brother, you'd have so much more fun with fpv then a DJI
@@roguekwads_fpv7368 I know, but if I sell it I will only get like 400 dollars for a drone that I bought for 600. It's not worth it, and I bought a 2-year care refresh for an additional 80 dollars. so maybe I will get one by the time the Care refresh expires.
In addition, 400 dollars is not even enough for this kit, and let's not even talk about buying spare parts for the FPV when I break it. Anyways, yeah totally agree, FPV is a lot more fun, but I will have to learn soldering and that type of stuff first.
@@JG-mw7uy I have a mini 2 also. Love it! I got the 4s nazgul hd too to use with my dji remote controller and dji googles. I've yet to fly the fpv though. I'm gonna buy a cinewhoop soon too for my Real estate side hustle

This is absolutely perfect for a beginner, this is now the go-to recommendation, can’t fault it.
The T12 is the nice radio that will help with everything.

@@parkerburk7876 it was fun. Till I decided to tear it apart, before I knew what I was doing. For a little more money I would buy the skyzone cobra goggles, jumper t lite, and a drone of your choosing.

Great review! This Novice IV kit definitely has more staying power than most other RTF kits including the preceding Novice II and III kits. Although they're still contenders in their own right relative to their respective price points. Definitely a more alluring prospect than what DJI has to offer given how much they charge for their FPV drone. I look forward to seeing your upcoming review of that other RTF kit and then I might pull the trigger on one of these. I just have a trio of Parrot minidrones and the Mavic Mini, but no FPV quads to call my own. This is definitely the year of entry level drone kits!

@@iamshredder3587 I have. Sort of. I purchased a cheap one at COSTCO to practice on. If I crash it or lose it I won’t feel so bad. It doesn’t have a gimbal so the video will be pretty bad. When I’m comfortable flying it I will get a decent one like this one.

This is just amazing for all people who want to get into fpv... WoW.
If you're gonna get into fpv you need to figure out what radio you're gonna use first.You need a radio to use the simulator. You don't want to waste money on multiple radios. Figure out wich rx you're going to be using like crossfire. Get a tango 2 ,it works in the simulator and you can use it with your drone. Other wise, you're gonna have to buy multiple radios .
I almost pulled the trigger on a DJI FPV bundle as my first non-toy & FPV drone. But it was literally 5X what this bundle costs!! I think I’ll start here and have all that money for more/other drones once I’m comfortable flying . Thanks for showing us this great bundle. Another great video!!

Steve, nice starter drone kit that doesn’t need to be upgraded within a few months. I wish you would have flown it till it got out of range so we could see what fails first rx or vtx and how far it got And what was the range. It would have shown the beginners how gps rescue works. Maybe a second video.

just spent 8+ hours watching your videos and originally was going to get the Cetus Pro to learn on but after watching the beginner's series you did it recommended this video and I think this is a better fit to build onto in the future. I'll be able to get a couple more drones without having to get a new radio or goggles. I know this is an older video but the Banggood has this thing at $500 for the 2 battery option and on Eachines own site you can grab the 4 battery one for $420. Those batteries are $25 each on their site so that's a deal. Just an FYI for anyone currently looking to get this. Thank you for all the videos. Looking forward to several more hours of watching your channel.
I stand corrected. I just clicked on the buy now button on eachines site and it kicked me over to Banggood and the $535 for the 4 battery version.

Don't feel bad, I started off with the same kit and wound up upgrading to the same transmitter in this kit, and similar goggles (mine are Fatshark Scout's).

After fun with the DJI Mini 2 and great video and photos, just want to go back to fun I had with the toy nano drones but in a bigger way. Does anybody know if it will have enough power to carry a standard gopro? What's the expected impact on flight time and handling?
A full sized GOPRO would be heavy so you're better off with a Naked Gopro or small camera.

Order local. RACEDAYQUADS, getfpv, horizon hobby and pyrodrone are all In USA. Also, check small stores. They will have stuff in stock that is gone online. Grayson hobby is out of Atlanta and ProgressiveRC is out of Seattle. ReadymadeRC is Ohio. Now buy some stuff and have fun flying.

Kudos to Eachine! Probably the best RTF kit on the market! I started off with the EMax Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle kit, eventually upgraded to the RMTX12 & Fatshark Scout's when I got my Hawk Pro. Got my 11 year old son into the hobby so the EMax goggles and transmitter got passed along to him for his Tinyhawk S. I wish this kit was out when I got into it! Awesome video Captain Drone!
Matter of fact, just so you know Captain, your videos and subsequent reviews are the reason I went with the Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle RTF kit, then the RMTX12, and my Hawk Pro (God that quad is FAST). Never saw you do one of the Fatshark Scout's, but you absolutely should! I also bought the HolyStone HS720 for aerial cinema solely off your review! Keep the content coming, you've unwittingly taught me so much! And so many other's, I'm sure!

I have learned in the pat not to comment till I watch the entire video, but it looks like the video screen unit detaches from the headset, kinda like the Emax Tiny hawk 3? AH! I see at 17:44, the seam I saw is actually where it pulls out, unlike the tiny hawk ones where the back end of the goggle moves to accommodate the wearer. Very cool.

I really appreciate how you even included the take off weight as I find the sub 250g aspect of the hobby highly appealing. I also agree with you as to out growing other kits. I was on the fence about this and the geprc tinygo. I may just get the tinygo for my son and if he still is interested I'll get him a novice 4 also.
One question though, if I were to later on down the line buy another drone, what should I look for so that I can still use the goggles and controller?

These are quite durable aswell. I order a set of 4 replacement arms and didnt need one yet. The arms are all the same so you can just replace them as you go which is nice

Another great review and this is definitely might be my favorite FPV drone by far! It looks like a perfect balance between beginner and intermediate.. so would keep me happy longer.
The sad part is it isn't available to purchase anymore and even from some rare online stores that sell, they either don't ship to US and the ones that do (like eBay) will charge exorbitant amounts.. close to twice it's actual cost. Any idea on when it'll be restocked? And, would which drone would you suggest that's comparable to this one..

Hello there! Great review. I’m really considering buying this drone. I bought the DJI FPV Drone and I’m actually practicing in the simulator but I feel I need something “crashable” to try before actually flying with my DJI FPV. The only question I have is this one: I’m a MODE 3 pilot. Is it posible to configure this controller for the right stick to handle the throttle and yaw and the left stick to control the pitch and roll? THANKS!!

It takes plenty of practice but eventually you'll get the hang of it and then you'll feel free like a bird to do as you wish.
