Very nice beginner drone, made by AtomRC and Eachine!
The time it started falling and you armed the motors was very scary, interesting and funny at the same time!
Impressed by its failsafe mode which makes it come back to you if you lose signal (thats like Auto RTH) which is really good for those who don't have much experience!
The best thing for beginners is the RTF FPV Kit which makes flying these race drones much easier!

Those new Fail-Safe upgrades definitely makes the $400 price tag more reasonable. I'm kind of glad I waited to get into fpv until now because I am terrible at it LOL

Which has the longest radio range, Eachine & Atomrc Auk or Eachine Novice-IV?
Which one do you recommend to buy?
Awesome kit and I would love to have it. It is pretty pricey though. $400 is a lot for the poor folks on here like myself. I realize the DJI FPV is almost $900 more but is it better for beginners or would you recommend this one?

I would buy this if they offered the drone by itself. I like the GPS return to home feature and could have used it a few weeks ago when l lost my drone. Luckily I did find it after an hour of looking. Good review!

Thanks for the video bro. This may actually be the first FPV drone I buy. Why? Because I am a DJI guy…Part 107 pilot and I do not wish to see my money fly away; this lil’ guy will prevent that more than any other in this price range. Also, she should be a little faster with a higher C battery in there. The distance should be decent, but irrelevant if it will fly itself home…AND LAND! Very nice sales pitch. Ya got me. My Christmas gift to myself.

Newbie question. I'm thinking about buying the Radiomaster TX16S MKII. Will that bind to this drone? What kind of receiver does it have? I'm waiting for mine :-)
I can't recall what receiver is in this drone, probably something like an FRSKY or FLYSKY. A 4 in 1 radio should be able to bind to it, but you'll have to figure out what receive it is so as to save yourself trail and error time.

Looks like a great beginner FPV . Definately something I would be interested in . GPS is a big thing for me. Does it disarm on its own just before it lands on RTH , or did you do that ?

Hey Cap'n, I'm a new subscriber and I dig your videos.
I have the Mavic Air 2 and I love it, but I wanted to get into FPV for a long time now. I actually bought the AtomRC Seagull that you showed alongside this one in the video. I like it a lot, but due to the learning curve I smashed up a couple of the motors. What motors do these use? I want to buy some replacements but the vast selection of rc motors is intimidating. Would appreciate a little guidance in this instance.

When people smash things up and are new to the hobby, I always advise that they take their drone to a hobby store and ask if there is anyone who fixes FPV drones (they usually always know of someone). ATOM RC and EACHINE both have websites, but they never list parts. Usually you can find parts on Banggood since the motors are the same motors as the previous version.

I’ve flown gps drone for years and do quite a lot of filming for local businesses & a production company, Ive a few fpv drones but have always struggled with flying fpv as mavic has us spoilt! I went to purchase but couldn’t see where to put the discount code in, there didn’t seem to be an option

bought the kit.can you teach me what does the SB switch ( you labeled FLIP OVER ) do ??
That is TURTLE MODE which is common in the FPV hobby. Do a youtube search and you'll find lots of videos as it is on many many FPV drones. If you crash (softly) and your drone is upside down, you can FLIP IT OVER by flipping that switch and moving the right joystick. Once it has flipped upright, turn the switch off, then ARM the drone and take off.

Would you recommend a certain type of replacement battery that will give longer flight time?
Also, maybe you would consider creating a video us new/all pilots on drone maintenance for best performance...oiling motors, cleaning propeller spindles, body shell cleaning, body repairs, etc. Many thanks again for your SUPERB reviews and videos. The only battery for longer flight times are LI-ION batteries. You just get no performance out of them for speed or sudden ascending, but you do get long flight times.

Hello, do you perhaps know how to bind t8 transmitter to drone? binding was broken by mistake after I set drone through betaflight calibration. I canot find any bind button in drone and also dont know how to bind drone in betaflight calibration.
I do not currently have this drone, so I do not have the manual of the T8 to check how to put it in bind mode.

Yes, you can set it up in BETAFLIGHT if you desire.

@@mikepistolesi7222 The settings are the STOCK settings. Once the drone goes into FAILSAFE (as shown in the video) it lands back where it took off.

In the FPV hobby, yes. Everyone had to start someone and rarely does anyone keep the same gear they began with because it is all about upgrading as your skills improve and then get what works with your skill and knowledge.

Yes. Simple to do in betaflight if you are familiar with it.

The drone can still work without GPS. You can set this up in BETAFLIGHT. Just search for videos on GPS RESCUE settings.

The Novice IV is a great kit. It has a better radio than the radio that comes with this kit.

I do try to get international but often Banggood only gives me USA and Canada codes.
What battery's would you recommend to buy for this kit?
In the FPV Drone hobby you buy batteries based on mAh, Voltage (cells), connector. So for this drone it takes an 850 mAh battery that is a 4S (4 cells), with an XT30 connector. Now go search for this on AMAZON or wherever you live in the world and you'll get tons of hits.

I enjoyed this my friend. I hope one day I can have a channel half as good as yours. I have no family or friends and depression is taking over. I need a camera drone because I have a 5inch quad and I suck at flying it so I gave up on my CZcams channel. But with a camera drone I could post again. I pray that one day I can get one. And people depression can destroy your life like it did mine. Try to be happy and not end up like me

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I'm relatively new to the freestyle drone world and actually don't own a freestyle drone yet lol, but I've been flying on my computer practicing. Been debating which kit to get to start with and I know this isnt usually the first one someone would get but im pretty confident that I can handle this as my first freestyle drone with a little more practice and starting off slow. I'd just hate for a deal like this to slip through my fingers, but what do you think? Do you think thIs deal is one I shouldn't pass up? Because I can just buy a bnf whoop or something to use with the controller and Googles that come with the AUK right?

dont like arm on angle acro switch. u goto go back to angle from acro and click too far by accident and bam disarmed... lol.. damn only 45c rated.. even beginners go full throttle.. wonder if once battery gets to 3.8v per cell and u punch it how long does it go..
Edit yeah seen it go 3.7v to 3.0v not terrible.
