    Finally, Emax's tinyhawk III!
    Its superb that they made the new version in a short period of time!
    As Tinyhawk II is not that old.
    Their RTF kits are amazing and the tinyhawks' mass is same as always...
    Negligible like one is holding a paper!
    Controller is really beautiful...
    And the goggles are also mind blowing!!!
    Never knew that it was that good.
    Looks really stable indoors...
    I like these types of drones which are really small amazing cinewhoops, which are durable, that can do impressive and astonishing cool things and also costs not much!

    Easily one of the best RTF starter kits you've reviewed on this channel. I'm impressed that the goggles still have some utility even if you want to purchase a more advanced set to replace them. Only other goggles I know that can do that would be Eachine's EV800D and the FXT Viper. Still not quite as impressive as the Novice IV kit, but this is roughly half the price so that's something to consider. Thanks for the great review as always!

    I just ordered mine. I had a wonderful time with my Hubsan Zino GPS drone but now it's time to start doing stunt FPV.
    I could have the drone tomorrow in another store if I want, however one store is closed for 2 weeks and they give 15% discount on all orders while closed.

    So I just got my fix for glasses yesterday. I own the BetaFPV Cetus Lite kit (got it about a week ago) I tried using Armless reading glasses with the Cetus goggles. they sort of worked but after a few minutes they tended (about 50% of the time) to tilt on my nose inside the goggles. sometimes falling off entirely. my fix was to buy a comfort kit for a VR headset (Quest 2) by KIWI. its a padded face pad with glasses extension for VR goggles($19.99). I Duct taped them on. they hold solid. my regular glasses fit inside and the FPV goggles are very comfy. I'm hoping when upgrading to a bigger drone kit (I'm not a serious FPVer so my next kit will probably be the E_MAX EAZY Pilot Pro) that they will fit that as well.

    Love my TH3. The dogs snatched it out of the air a few too many times and the frame is cracked in several places. I like to fly it outdoors in a stiff gusty breeze. It shimmies when the wind kicks up because of the broken frame, but it still flies great. Reminds me of the movie "Batteries Not Included" where the heroic little injured drone was trying to fly. Probably will get another frame for it, but have been looking for something similar in an ARF. I've been watching your beginner videos but you are so enthusiastic, it is hard to make a decision based on your glowing reviews.

    I was looking at the BETAFPV Cetus Lite FPV Drone after your review, but now I'm looking at this Tiny Hawk 3.... I love your enthusiasm. I'm just looking for a drone to mess around with inside my house. not sure I won't have motion sickness with FPV. I get a little VR sickness with my VR headset when doing Flight sims or Roller Coasters sims. but only when not looking straight ahead when doing those sims (ie. if I turn my head while flying a plane to watch an enemy plane go down or look to the side when on a Roller Coaster to watch scenery go by). if I look straight ahead my stomach is fine.

    • @skairkrow9800
      @skairkrow9800 Před měsícem

      I bought the Betafpv Cetus lite. came today. "OMG that thing is tiny!" (first thoughts upon opening the box). I charged everything. was so happy the batteries only take 20 minutes to charge. never having flown anything RC before I was very careful with my first take off from my coffee table. not sure why but the thing tends to "jump" into the air. after hours of practice, it still jumps into the air. by jump I mean about 6" from resting to airborne. I thought I saw you do a smooth take off. anyway, the "jump" doesn't bother me that much. flying around the house minus the goggles was fun! after I was able to complete a circuit of my living room and kitchen several times without getting confused as to what joystick does what I decided to try the Goggles. I wear glasses but I have a pair of Arm less reading glasses ($9.99 Amazon) that clip onto my nose. they worked great! fit right into the headset. I was able to fly around the same living room and kitchen. it was a blast of a day! get the oval arm less reading glasses not the rectangle ones. THANKS for your review. I think I'm on my way to a new hobby.

    • @skairkrow9800
      @skairkrow9800 Před měsícem

      its the next day, I flew it around the house last night for awhile, went to bed. got up this morning and went to get my new "Toy". I found that at some point last night I sort of "bent" one of the batteries. possibly in one of my many crashes last night. the battery still works, still takes a charge and still puts out a charge. so I'll continue to use it. thank god the batteries are so cheap! this thing really is fun. is it $153.00 fun? don't know yet. side note: yesterday my German Shepherd/Retriever was very wary of the drone and didn't want to be in the same room with it. this morning all the doors out of my living room are closed (because peeps are sleeping) so she just layed at my feet. that is until I lost control and almost hit my head with it. got control inches from my head. and as I was flying away, all of a sudden the dog went laying to a full jump and tried to take it out of the air. LOL. she was sort of fine with until she saw it "attack" me, or "threaten" me. (8 batteries for $40.00, Amazon, not bad).

    A few years ago (🤔actually many years ago😟) I used to fly radio controlled model aeroplanes, panic biplanes to be precise. They were aerobatic planes fitted with fast petrol engines. I would practise aerobatics and have dog fights with other flyers using paper streamers attached to the planes (chew up you opponents streamer with your prop) Anyway with that model flying experience behind me do you think I would be OK with a drone or would I struggle, should I be looking at something like this as a starter or something else. Your opinion would be great, thank you. Dang how I wish mini cameras had been available back then.

      Be very careful with those junk USB-C connectors - they are not voltage protected and not rated for that many push pulls. They will be the first thing to fail on your radio. In my case, it was the main board that failed when I inserted the top USB-C connector in to play a sim.
      Still the best radio IMHO but.. that being said, leaves a lot to be desired as there's a lot far less than perfect from it. All the other radios though are just really much worse.

      @@Trekeyus That's what I use, the NetDot12 L shaped variety, but be careful with them, they don't always line up, and the donut magnets will come out... you may need to glue them back in iwth super glue. I have one like that now.
      What I do is unplug and plug things with the other end of the cable into a hub... the USB-A connector side... so the wear and tear happens on the other end of the cable, and not the radio.
      That's my main fault with the TX-15s.. the USB-C connectors instead of USB-A. If you have phones or tablets, you know these microsub connectors are the first to fail... and then your device is useless.

(Whom ever scanned that QR code for you was not included in the package)… As a promoter/sales rep, before you submit your next video, imagine being a rural teacher who blew their entire 5th grade classroom budget on this bc it was so “beginner friendly”. Only to find it’s a piece of junk.
    My hairline isn’t receding as much but when it starts. I hope to still remember the equity and aptitude of those without a massive CZcams following.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +1

      Are you saying they are on the same controller frequency (like you move a joystick and both drones move)? That would be odd. Now if you mean the same video frequency then that is normal and it is up to one of you to change that on the drone & goggles.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +1

      I honestly don’t know because with DJI it is just a simple software setting adjustment for a GPS drone where both sticks are centered. In the FPV hobby the left (throttle) joystick is not centered. See if you can download the manual

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před rokem +2

      If you are a beginner then stick with something you can use in your house as well as outside, and something that you don't mind destroying, because as a newbie, you'll destroy your FPV drone within a day or two unless you have some skills. Another option to consider is the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or CETUS X

    The goggles that come with kit, are they like the eachine vrd2 googles that just have a magnifying len as opposed to, two individual lens?

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před rokem +2

      Goggles with individual lenses usually cost around $500 and up for anything worth buying, and that is just for the goggles...... so I believe that answers your question.

      @@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh perfect! Because i am considering this kit, unfortunately i can only see properly through one eye so the single lense googles are my only way to go. If this kit has a single lens then it is a win for me 😁

    I just got the Tinyhawk3 to practice indoors, I'm trying to bind it to my E6 transmitter that I got from the Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle RTF kit but for whatever reason it will not bind. They are both FrSky D8 so it should work. Anyone any ideas or like a specific step-by-step guide? I'm new into this hobby and can't seem to find clear instructions on this on any emax guide, forum or so.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  Před 2 lety +1

      You’ll have to ask Emax for the binding steps. There is a certain way to put the drone in bind mode and a certain way to put the controller in bind mode. Once you have that then they should bind.
