Every villain, so far, has had a set of rules they lay out for themselves that are, given, rules that break the law but they know their limits. I think what makes Regulus so terrifying is the unshakeable, all-encompassing nature of his "attention." With other toxic characters on this channel, we might witness some type of "break" in their composure, like Ivan's few angry outbursts. We haven't seen this yet from Regulus; even though he just escaped prison to find his charge with another man, his self-narrative is so airtight, he feels sadness and pity for the others instead of frustration and powerlessness in himself. This combined with his ability to exert total mental and physical control over his charge?? Listener, you're in 🎆 d a n g e r 🎆
To see Regulus blow up would be one hell of a show.
I didn't even think of that. The charge is happy now with life, so they aren't going to fall into place like last time. Last time they were incredibly depressed and lonely, and they have a good life now. It's going to be horrifying to see how he is going to react to the change in the charge 🥲

Bad news: Regulus is terrifying. Scarier than all the Yanderes, by far. Even scarier than Vega because of how unhinged he is.
Good news: The Department has found him once, and can do so again. At least this time he’s on their radar, and they have a record of the human he’s trapped. Probably.
Bad news: The Department is beyond understaffed. Cam already confirmed that he asked for tabs to be kept on Regulus’ human victim but was refused. The fact that Cam himself seems wary does not bode well. Who knows how long it’ll be until the Department manages to track Regulus down and stop him, with the break outs, the multiple escapees and short staffing.
Good news: …
Bad news: Regulus seems even more desperate this time to keep the human by his side. And desperation in a dæmon that powerful is very, very, dangerous. If he’s willing to erase the listener from their boyfriend’s memory, I doubt he’ll stop at friends, family, etc. Anyone who would raise the alarm about them missing is potentially getting their mind erased. He might take the listener somewhere, or ward their place even more strongly than before.

Regulus' listener isn't likely to get out of this quickly. I don't know how long Regulus had them originally, but the Department didn't seem all too worried about their predicament in Cam's video.
The allusions to other videos in his series were nice. The repetitions of lines like "Pour myself into you like water" combined with the desperation in his voice really nail down how effectively fucked (literally and figuratively, most likely) the listener character for this series is.
Regulus erasing their boyfriend's mind, especially with what seemed so early into their relationship, when they could've likely disappeared with no consequence is worrying. Why should he stop there, after all? Why not erase the minds of their family, their friends?
It seems like this series is starting to develop in plot, and I'm interested in seeing where it goes, especially with new sound effects.
I'm not sure how much of it is lack of worry, and how much is, after everything that's happened recently, that they don't have the staff or resources to deal with a small (and I mean small as in not threatening wide-scale mayhem or violence, rather than not powerful) threat

I shouldn't like Regulus as much as I do, but the sound of the reverb of his voice is oddly soothing. I'm interested in seeing more from him to see the contrasts and similarities between him and Caelum. To see how more of the traits in a "well" empathy daemon are tangled in a fallen one.

Eric's voice is too soothing and gentle, so, puted onto lips of those characteres, it makes them way more loveable than they probably should be 😂
Regulus is horrifying. He’s the only other character, besides Adam & Vega, to paralyze someone. Not to mention that he can do so without making any kind of contact, as we know of. I am infatuated as to how Regulus “works” to say the least. D(a)emons are nothing to be messed with. Besides the point, this tickled the right part of my brain lol!

I imagined the listener dismissing the disembodied voice the first few times and honestly, I would have booked it, too if I heard it again and it acknowledged that I did. I also imagined Regulus brushing his nose up against the listener's ear whilst saying he wouldn't hurt the guy. Oof, I'm so invested. I kinda wonder if Caelum will ever cross paths with Regulus....

I'm usually not that into yandere characters, but I have a soft spot for Regulus. I want to know more about him, how he ended up like this. He's so desperate to make someone happy. Somehow he doesn't seem completely bad, but he cares too much in a very wrong way. His voice is comforting, taking all my focus so there's no space left for anxiety

So...not that I usually comment, and it's not like others haven't already pointed this out. But holy heck. I think what makes this particular character so absolutely terrifying is the amount of control he has. Usually, toxic characters might crave control, or exercise some over another. Reggie here has physical control, the ability to both read and influence thoughts, and his status as empathy daemon means he has a solid grasp on emotions as well....and the listener is...alone. As far as I am aware they're unempowered, and unable to move, unable to block Reggie out, and on top of that...he can't be reasoned with. I can't think of a single conversation, even if he'd let you try, that would have him saying "yeah, you're right, here, have even a modicum of freedom back".
Holy Heck. I think the feeling of being completely outclassed and isolated is what makes this character so horrifying. Well done! I am properly scared.
Random edit: Upon late night consideration and return to this train of thought, it has also occurred to me that it plays on a very very common and yet completely unhealthy trope in media and romance stories today.... the idea of "you complete me, we need each other, you can't be whole without me". Now obviously Regulus is doing this to an extreme, and on purpose, but the whole mindset begins toxic with the "but ....they need me! And I need them!" Approach. A healthy relationship can only start when someone recognizes they are whole and fully individual first. Sorry I have ...psychoanalyzed way too hard, but exploring these perspectives and mindsets and characters is fascinating to me and I love trying to consider the themes or points that may lie at the core of things. Anyhow, my story-obsessed brain decided I had to add this to my collection of thoughts publicly so here we are.

Welp this listener is in a load of trouble. Regulus wants to be all consuming to them to the point they may never recover. And even if he is caught his influence would be too ingrained. A piece of him would always be with the listener and that's what he wants.
Being an empathy daemon allows him to know every emotion and see his growing control, but he's causing all these knots how does that not bother him? At least I know why he's invisible now. Empathy daemons are invisible to even empowered humans so this listener has no chance of even catching a glimpse of where he could be. There really is no escape.
This is a dangerous man to have in your head. Dear lord. The manipulation he has over me is just... how can I hate him when he's talking like he actually loves me?! That's the dangerous part for sure. He's too good with words dammit 😩❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this character because of how bone-chillingly scary he is and now there’s a name for him yay? Also now we’re seeing more effects of that prison break which yay but also oh god help the listeners…
I love contrast in the empathy daemons, mostly cause it shows us the extent of their power and of course it’s implied with them simply being daemons. But now we have unhinged Regulus who is older (???) than Caelum and exerting what will now be the full extent of his power to return things to the way they were. All this to say is wow empathy daemons are much more powerful than their child-like nature implies and a fallen empathy daemon is terrifying but very exciting storywise

despite audios like this usually being too overwhelming to me because of my autism, I actually find this one to be tolerable. it's uncomfortable in all the right ways, if that makes sense. definitely a massive invasion of the senses and feeling my entire head be overcome with this voice, but I really admire your work. this is an awesome piece.

Ah so we were right, Regulus is Ivisiboi. I am actually not surprised by just how beyond unsettling this character is. If his last audio was anything to go by, as well as how concerned Cam was about him, there were hints that he is nothing but unhinged and menacing than the other yandere. Like Vega was bad by way of using Ivan as a puppeted vessel to stay fed constantly - he lost Ivan, he lost Baby, was detained and lost his freedom this bruising his ego/pride and leaving him at the mercy of prison wardens who are prejudiced. Regulus just sounds like doesn't give two fucks - he has absolutely nothing to lose except his precious and prized listener which makes him dangerous. There are no other people to use, his skewed idea of love and the idea of the human as a beloved possession is what motivates him; outside of being invisible he doesn't conceal himself so as to avoid ruining his plans, actively taking part in executing his handiwork, mans believes the human is his be all and end all. Pls we have truly entered the trenches 🥲🥲🥲

this was such a terrifying but extremely cool comeback for him and i'm so excited for what comes next of him!
I’m really starting to convince myself that empathy demons manipulate themselves sometimes, especially at a young age, when things become too much to handle and they just give so much into the world without getting anything back. When they can’t understand why it’s always one sided anymore, they either convince themselves it’s right or they justify trying to make it mutual I dunno:(( makes me sad tho
I feel like, in general, empathy daemons are pretty close. Mostly because Vega was so surprised that Caelum ran to Freelancer after he was hurt, rather than to his fellow daemons.

I love this character more than I should and I'm pumped to see where Regulus goes and who gets tangled up with these two. It's also very interesting to see the shared traits between him and Caelum, how the intention is almost the same but the exceution is lacking in solid morals on Regulus' part. Also, this is the second time we've lost a Yandere then gained another, first with Ivan and Love, and now we lost Love and gained Regulus. Interesting trend.
When I tell you the look on my face when I realized this was the demon Cam was talking about, my jaw dropped for a solid two minutes... this poor listener has to deal with him again.... the department or Cam better fix this shit.

Basically, babby empathy daemons take on children as charges, but they can be seen by them and interact with them. Once they're older/more skilled, they start on adults, and they're imperceptible. I guess some daemons handle the transition fine. Others, like Regulus (and, interestingly enough, Caelum, who was starting to have difficulty dealing, which is why he's visible to Freelancer) don't.

This is so well done it’s honestly frightening omg, idk if I’ll be able to keep listening to this series cause this was definitely like a sensory overload, the echo/ all encompassing presence in the lister’s mind was so intense I was just saying “no” repeatedly and curled in the fetal position for essentially the entire vid😅 however I’m so curious to see where this goes plot-wise and I want to see exactly how interconnected it is with other storylines.
