Headcanon: we are extremely susceptible to hypnosis and we have been hypnotized by other enemies, but have built up a mental ‘shield’ against it- buuuuut it instantly gets messed up from this man cus oogaly boogaly this man IS HOT. Also omg please make this a series!!! I beg of thee!
But the concept of a hero who has built themselves on the idea of the image their power gives; (protective, able to make barriers) and then the moment someone actually Sees Them is when they just crumble is so *sublime*. A little indulgent "lay down the weight" with a dash of implied casually vicious retorts and repartees, topped off with some good ol' yandare threads in there. A+ way to wind down from a long as hell day working security.
I get the sense that there’s something going on with this hero (why they didn’t come out of the trance easily, and why being hypnotized felt familiar to them). Really hoping there’s a second part.
Jouska's voice + hypnosis = 💕 Just know that the annoyance you felt when we wouldn't wake up is only a fraction of what my alarm clock feels when I hit snooze for the 4th time in a row 😂

@@JouskaByNightit’s a magical skill developed by procrastinating until you’re staring down at multiple different tasks with extremely tight deadlines, but you still need your background noise (audio, music, etc). That’s just me tho

This reminds me of the one where the super villain takes over the prison they were being held in! Not sure if that one ever got a continuation to that script but I do think about that audio and storyline from time to time!
There's definitely something up with the listener having a forgotten history with the villain. They already seem to have been under the villain's spell, so to speak, even if neither of them are aware of it. Not to mention there's something peculiar about the villain's interest in them and i'm not sure what he wants their shield powers for. It's pretty tough to use an exclusively defensive power for evil. Like, healing powers can be used for torture, but depending on how the power works, there's not a ton of harm you can do with force fields aside from trapping people
See, the thing with Hypnotist Villains is the thing that caught his attention to us gets gone when they hypnotize us to be how they want us to be. The person we were that the villain liked... Is gone. This is why our Vampy Boi never enthralled us. He likes us just the way we are. ❤ Vampy Boi x Cupcake forever!

Mmmmhmhmhm. I like the ides of hypnosis, this oh so easy trick the Villain loves to use to get his way, being particularly dangerous for the person he cares about. What if the more he puts them under the longer they stay under? What if in the past the two knew each other and had their memories removed because the relationship was dangerous for them both? That's why his hypnosis feels so familiar and we are so interesting to the speaker. We KNEW each other, once.
I don't think I've ever mentioned it before, but I am loving all the thumbnail art. The style is consistent between videos so it feels more purposeful than just chucking in some random anime boy from pinterest with no credit. That being said, Jouska, are you making all the thumbnail art? I always check the description for the artist so I can follow them, but there's nothing there :( EDIT: It's AI :/ Why am I not surprised....
I think it could be original art he made or a commission because when you reverse search the image (at least for this video) no exact copies appear online except for this video.
