    Love your videos. I'm tryong to decide which system to get for a school gym grad nite event. 6000 looks good but I'd like to be able to blance with an equalizer. How would you add an equalizer to the club 6000? Not clear on where that would plug into the system to be able to blance the subs or the others. Is there one you might recommend?

      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před měsícem +1

      Good question.. many ways to explain. I will make a video on this issue soon . So you can do it different ways but .. If you want to cover everything you add it straight from laptop or controller or mixer then to your EQ . Then out to the ProReck 6000 inputs . Also you would need different cables for your EQ equipment type and more cables depend on your setup. I need a few weeks but I will make a video regarding this question. Thanks .

  • @jorgeandresvillarroel6088

    Thanks for your video, I have a question hopefully you can answer it.
    Can I add two more arrays to the 6000? I saw on the audioproreck website they sell single arrays

      My opinion only … I would not add more arrays to one system. If you purchase another amp / 6000 sub unit . Then Yes you can add more arrays and then you can connect / link the units together. If you add more arrays without getting another or using a different amp you run the chance of damaging or overheating your amp. Each club system is only made to power that system. Hopefully that makes sense. Thank you .

      Thanks for watching and your question. You could use banana plug to RCA using the speaker outputs or use the headphone jack 1/4 to XLR or 1/4 cable . Either will work. Thanks . Just make sure you grab the correct size of cables you will need too.

    Hello. Thanks for the review! I have the 6000. I also just ordered the 4000. Do you know if you can run 3 speakers per side like the 8000? But with the 6000 sub powered amp? Any idea what the impedance is?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před měsícem +1

      Technically you could… but I would say No … / it’s not recommended . The 8000 system amp is more powerful for the 18 inch subs and the Extra arrays . For all 3 systems 4000 , 6000, 8000.
      Subwoofer Impedance: 8ohms / Satellite Speaker

      I would have to say that you probably could because the arrays are the same between the two systems I highly doubt that proreck at this price point is putting any different amp in the two cases I believe just the sub is bigger I could be wrong but I highly doubt that the amps are configured different than one can take a lower ohm than the other at this price point?

    Hi, thanks for the video, i like deep bass, what do you think is better? the club 6000 with the 2 15's or the club 4000 with just 1 18? ...... Also if i buy the club 4000, can i add one more 18 sub later? thank you so much!

      I believe performance / sound is subjective to everyone’s ears... My opinion the 15 inch system with have more punch … but the single 18 will have a little Deeper bass. And yes you can add any other subwoofer to any ProReck system. Thanks

      @@proreckusa What ?? My guy,, Dual 15, dual 18, single 12 or single 18 wont matter at all for coverage..Its all about the box, power and setup of the driver. You want long throw ? go horn loaded or inline cardioid, you want good omnidirectional get a regular reflex sub. And everything in between with stuff like semi horn loaded or bandpass subs. If you put up 2 kw152 15 inch subs vs one ks118 wich is a single 18 the ks118 will still outperform the two 15s but just barely. speaker size means almost nothing to the "deepness" or "thump" of the bass. Its all about box design and porting/tuning of the sub itself. This seems to be a common misconception brought over from the car audio industry. The fact that you as a representative of the company should know this already. This just goes to show how good of a brand this is.

  • @patrickbernard5458
    @patrickbernard5458 Před 6 dny +1

    How can you honestly go in front of a camera and try to convince people that these speakers sound anything but awful ? Just look at the damn top in the beginning. You got a horn driver with a vertical dispersion cover on a speaker that sits horizontally ???? What is it supposed to do ? Throw the sound 90 degrees up and down and what looks like 20 or 30 degrees sideways ?
    Ive heard plenty of these systems now and they all sound like the price tag, cheap, tingy, no bass no clarity in vocals, they get muddy as soon as you try anything other than a solo vocalist with a guitar. Please start reviewing some proper audio gear instead of trying to trick people into thinking this is anything but trash can value.. Just because of amazon affiliate,, you are pretty much destroying a whole group of peoples idea of what good quality sound is.. I dare you to run a frequency response test with a rta mic and some software like open sound meter and post it..

      @@DjMartiniMidwestThis isn't about my ears and experience,, This is about selling a badly engineered poorly designed sound system and giving people the wrong impression on what's acceptable to bring to a paid gig. Bringing down the standard of sound quality and design to a level as low as this is arguably more damaging to the industry than not. Yeah it might be cheap but i promise you i can build a MUCH better sounding used system for 700 bucks than this can provide. And its sad to see a somewhat reputable youtuber actually recommending these just because of the affiliate link with the price range being within a somewhat easy to sell impulse purchase.
      My opinion on how this sounds and my experience with it is based on years of working as an Audio engineer with everything from a small band brining a couple mackie 15's and a sub to some of our bigger festivals running D&b audio or Lacoustic arrays. And i have yet to hear a speaker system sound worse than this even when setup correctly.
      I even tried to help the poor band that was struggling to keep the sound level up with a 100 person crowd. They bought a pro 8k thinking it was a great deal and it sounded alright in their house. Then they bring it out and wonder how that little ES1203 from db tech system right next to them with 2 tiny little column speakers can sound so much better and louder than their "massive sound system" And the 1203 is known for not carrying any bass below 60hz. This is a tiny less than 40kg speaker system with 4 4'' drivers in the tops and a dual 12 sub that costs about the same on a good deal as a proreck 8000.. Its quite frankly laughable how you can say with confidence that this garbage has any place in live sound other than the occasional backyard grill party.
