    Really good review again I bought two 3200 systems and bought a third AEF and it's my favorite I wish the cabinets were little bit sturdier on the arrays but they are pole-mounted so they don't get banged around but the sound is really good you're correct❤ the 3200 arrays are very sturdy built but they don't have the sound clarity of the AEF keep up the good work

    Thanks for you all of the information. This channel is a huge resource. I have just one more question. Besides portability, is there anything that the AEF does better than the 4000? Is the clarity (for vocals) better on the AEF compared to the 4000? Are the low sun sounds better on the AEF since they are spread out between the two?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před rokem +2

      Clarity and sound quality is similar but the ProReck 4000 has better lows / bass for sure. The 3200 / AEF subs do leak some full range sounds. AEF has all around full range sound . Vocals will sound similar on both system . My opinions…please use my links if purchasing would really help . Thanks

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před měsícem

      Appreciate you watching and your question. Really Depends on your plans for the equipment. I use the Rockville Ram12Bt for a back up setup but you could use 2 Ram15bt PA speakers and do a small mobile gig no problems . It’s an Easy setup and would have wireless microphones. Sound is ok. Battery time use is ok but battery lifetime is short (maybe a year) The Rockville PA’s would lack low end .
      The ProReck AEF is more of an all around setup sound wise and also is about a 150 people / small to medium venue ready. No battery power and microphones not included but is still portable . System is easy to setup and has a good thump up close . The ProReck would be my starter pick but.. just My thoughts. Reference links :

    Proreck club 8000, I can't really say I am unhappy with them as I believe they will serve my purpose. I bought 2 sets. The speakers seem to handle the power well but it sounds like the tops outrun the subs. Clairity is good but a little bright without the low mid presence. If you are looking for karaoke or D J,ing then they should work well for you. My use was for a country music band and show. I will be using a mixing console which should correct the imbalance through the mix. I really won't know until I dig a little further. I wouldn't be afraid of them as long as you know these limitations. (but they are not 8000 watts)!!!

    Great review, I just want to upgrade my home gym system. I have 1 Mackie Thump 15inch on a mixer but I'd like to add a more fuller sound and wondering if the PRORECK Club AEF 12-Inch 4000 is best. I like deep bass songs. Any suggestions?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před 9 měsíci

      Thanks for watching and your question. Compared to your big 15 top cabinet speaker…The AEF is my favorite portable system but it is not going to give a deep club thump.. if your looking at ProReck I would do something like 3500, 4000, or the 6000 which I’m not seeing list at the moment but it has two 15inch subs and two arrays. These systems I have suggested have bigger subwoofers (club thump) 👍🏽 which might fill your gym space better.
      ProReck is good but might not have the clarity of some good DJ top cabinets. My opinion everyone’s ear is different :)
      MY last suggestions is just add a ProReck PR18 and a subwoofer pole to your Mackie speaker & instant bass upgrade. (Fuller sound)

      Thanks for watching and your question. The ProReck AEF system is my favorite system period covers well indoors and out …plus is lighter / portable. But currently is hard to find / buy . The ProReck 3000 would be ok 2nd option a very full range system but the subwoofers are lacking compared to the 3200 system subwoofers . Not a huge difference but noticeable. Although the arrays on the 3000 are great and my favorites of the ProReck arrays portable and great clarity/ sound . The ProReck 4000 would work too.. but not as portable as the others system but would add some lower end and volume for larger crowds . So outside movie experience the AEF Or 3000 are my picks for 50-100 people . But if you prefer a bit more lower end / volume … option for the 4000.. but prepare for a heavier 18inch subwoofer to move around.

    I am torn between going ahead and getting the Club 4000 now or waiting for the AEF to return which Proreck says should be in mid August. I like the portability of the AEFs as the 4000 sub is quite large. We are a small DJ business, focused on weddings and such, never done anything over 300 people. Since we move in and out of venues a lot and travel with the equipment, I was thinking it may be best to wait for the AEF. But, the 4000 does have more power it seems. Do you have anything else to add that may swing me one way or another?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest
      @DjMartiniMidwest  Před rokem +1

      Thanks for watching and your question. So it’s hard decision .. really comes down to portability and power . The AEF is more portable due to the smaller subs and smaller arrays.. but I use it a lot for around 200 people or less . The ProReck 4000 might be better for up to 300 people. It does have the 18 inch sub but I will say it’s not as heavy as other models of the same size. Around 40-50 pounds. Just some extra thoughts… thanks.

You can either use a splitter or piggyback rca connection to both the subwoofers or just use the XLR mix out from one sub to XLR inputs on the other subwoofer using XLR cables . Arrays still connect to there perspective subwoofer via 1/4 jack .

Distance from 150' away, maybe up to about 250'. Crowd ranging from 1.6k to 2.6k. Would the 3000 be good since it's got the good voice sound? Or do any of these make sense for that sort of thing at all?

I do like the ProReck systems but if I’m reading your range & crowd amount correctly.. you might still use , like two or four 15 inch woofer PA loudspeaker speakers spread out on tripods preferably. Only My opinion & thoughts but I believe is the best range , best options to move speakers around , and a better portable option. Also weather and heat are very hard any electrics via durability. Lots of options too.

      Haha, funny before I Looked at this message I had just recommend two JBL speakers ..On a other message. The IRX series is made more for preformer’s so the clarity is awesome. But eons are great too more for mobile Dj types . Both I like and have owned in the past . I still have two EON 712 in my collection. ProReck PR18 is a good subwoofer too I used with other top cabinet speakers. Please use links if you purchase it would really help me continue my CZcams journey. Thanks hope i helped. I’m a mobile DJ and after hanging the headphones up I got back into the game a few years ago. When I started back up I bought some lower end powered Rockville monitors with a single sub. Then after a year or so of that, I bought myself a pair of Evolve 50s with a Turbosound Milan 18B for extra bass. They look great and sound great however, I am limited to weddings or events of only around 200 people, the Evolves just don’t have the throw, so I have been considering buying an extra set of speakers in order to do larger events, school dances, etc. Maybe you mentioned this in the video and I missed it however a couple questions I have are, 1) did you ever have to talk to customer support or technical support for any issues and if so how is it handled? 2) Could you break down each model that you have into room size? For example, with the Proreck 4000 work for a room with 150 guests or 300?

    • @DjMartiniMidwest

      I’ve had good experiences with audioproreck.com for customer service . Then the club 4000 depending if your on a stage / elevated 150 to 200 . My thoughts.. also the club 6000 and 8000 around 300 people . Your evolve 50s and sub will have digital clarity over theses systems. I think the system you already have might be very close to the ProReck club Systems ….but the club system might project a little better like PA type speakers in My opinion and thoughts. Check the Concert set too.

Then Only one of the club 8000 unit ( main unit ) can be used for line inputs such as microphones / laptops or other music equipment. Any descent audio engineers??? Don't get these guys, unless you have other good brand full range speakers. They say it's full range, it's not.. 4" cones will NOT do anything under 800hz with good volume. These sound like trash. They are completely USELESS without an external equalizer. With eq on your mixing console, you could fix the sound somewhat.. but at low to mid volume.... Once you start boosting the volume at it's full capacity... The harmonic distortion and the intermodulation distortion of the speaker will make anything you throw at it sound like crap. You have to really be careful NOT to blast the volume in order to get descent sound.
    Again.. if you want this for professional use at mid to low volumes(small house, or enclosed room, small backyard).. you need a way to EQ the signal first and only then, will you have an OKAY sound. If you want to use at it's full power... You will make anything sound like crap.
    The only good thing about these systems is their subs. They are not 4k watts though.. they are around 500watts if that much.
