People may like to add Dear God help me to be "conscious" of the "parts" of me (that are creating the illusion)that tell me lies learned from wounding & traumas I experienced as a child that keep me in repetitive patterns, help me recognise when the "parts" are operatiang throuh me, that cause me to react with fear, anxiety, sadness, anger or any emotion, please God let me allow & surrender these emoitions to move through me, and let them go. And let me recognise them in others so that I no longer react, judge,blame, or take it personally, knowing that they too have there own upsets and conditioning. Peace to You.

Oh Sonny, God sure does talk to His children. What Father/Creator wouldn't talk to His children? He loves and cares for us. Do you really want to hear from God? Then yes; get yourself very quiet inside. When you are at peace, ask a question. God will answer you. However, He knows if you truly desire the answer of truth or not. If you really don't want to know, He will not answer but wait til you are ready with a willing heart. Sonny, you just have not heard God speak to you yet. You're on the right path. You're right there. When He speaks to you, you'll know it. Sending Agape love.
I wonder how beautifully and cunningly self has been identified as being a person or individual. It's a kind of hypnotic state we all have been living. We have been living as person for so long that now our true self seems like an abstract thing. thank you so much for your guidance. It's been like a game changer for me. @@dogtail3937 Thank you. It feels like such a deep love and gratitude but it isn't like crying from the mind, just a flood of tears rolling out and down. Not a trickle but so many tears like a stream. I can see that with this that negative energy would be released. 💚

I imagine this is a common issue - hopefully it hasn't been addressed over and over and that it is helpful to others. How does one implement this into the time outside of our practice? I would think the idea is to practice all the time! :) But the ego and selfishness are such a part of navigating the world. Input from the outside world can be jarring and can take one off track very suddenly. Selflessness is becoming more and more a part of everyday life - but it is so easy to fall into ego for survival.
