- I took my 2 stroke Yamaha blaster swapped mini bike to the 1/8 mile dragstrip for the last time. I faced lots of challenges racing my Mini bike. But in the end it's all about having fun and impressing yourself.

What other builds do you want to see me take to the dragstrip! Any ideas for drag bike V2?
1980s yamaha enduro extended and lowered with 600cc sport bike engine
YES. What about trying to fit a Hayabusa or Ducati swapped minibike? LOL, I saw someone selling a 750cc V-twin minibike on Facebook a couple days ago. That would be funny. thanks for the quality content, man. I cant wait to see how the cross kart turns out. Do you have any plans for racing your crosskart, or your (completely stock ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) mower, against any of the carsandcamera's builds?
Use yamaha y15zr
Same Motor, Different Frame...Something Longer..
I'd honestly just gear it down a little bit and put a junior dragster slick in the rear
Don’t stop with the mini bike videos it’s one of your best builds in my opinion
I agree I have about a dozen my fastest bike goes 54mph
Yes. Use *Methanol,* a Karting slick. (Note, go up on all jets by 50% in diameter.)
As a parent I just want to thank you again for keeping your channel clean, respectful, educational but most of all fun. Awesome to watch with my kids. Much respect to you and look forward to seeing your future projects. Be sure to say thank you to your family tonight, you've been brought up right and it serves you very well.
Thank you for that!
My stepmom and dad let me cuss at a young age but they also sat me down talked to me about it like where and when I should not do it, in my teenage years I would cuss like crazy but now that I'm in my mid 20s I don't try and cuss infront of my parents, sometimes I do when I say certain things and they just laugh because they don't hear me say it like that especially a joke, also i'm not telling you how to raise your kids but I will tell you that they will cuss whether you want them to or not.
Simp
Could not have been said better
Props to the dragstrip guy.
Yeah, as soon as I saw him drive through the water box I was like NOOO!!!
One of ur coolest builds, please don’t disappear it from the channel 😩
Congrats on the 8's bud. You're making me want to build a race bike now.
That 8.58 pass you launched it perfect, not a hint of bog and rpm stayed flat till you got out a little bit. Make a bump behind the seat so you can launch relaxed instead of having to hold yourself on and then you can concentrate on your launch, once you get the 60’ consistent the string of mid-low 8s will follow
YES! We want to see more of this mini-bike!
That guy gave you some solid advice and the fact that you listened got you some great results, congratulations!
Vas please keep the 2 stroke content 👏🏾👏🏾💯 let's do a banshee motor drag build, I'll put in on it frfr .
That's some Awesome stuff Vasily.Congrats on the mid-8.Thank you to your bud who filmed from the sidelines too.Good job.
Congrats Vasily, your determination knows no bounds!
Back in the late 60’s I tore around on a Bonanza mini bike with a Hodaka 100cc 2 stroke engine. I remember having to mix the fuel. It came with an expansion chamber exhaust which I typically rode with the baffle removed. Looking back I’m amazed my parents didn’t get complaints from our neighbors. It was great fun!
I have a Yamaha blaster with a big bore it is so fast
Best video in a while. I'd like to see a slightly larger bike with a snowmobile engine build.
Great video, Congratulations!!!
Your builds are high quality.
You have a bright future.😎
Street tires and some nos 7s time haha 🍻🎉
Now you got her cookin! Knew it had it in that bike, just a matter of getting a clean pass.
Good job getting there!
8 sec 1/8s are like a 12 sec car in quarter mile drags, that's flying!
After cars n cameras 500 it's only NOW that I understand and know how to pronounce your name and channel...lol.
Love your channel and what you are doing. Keep it up. Contact me if you need a Michigan connection be it parts or events or whatever. Peace bro
I think he sead 1/4 Mile pull Uper 8 sec ⁉️ Fast
I’m pretty sure he’s doing the quarter mile. Very fast for a little machine like that.
So pumped for you, way to go. 🇺🇸
Grats on the 8s! That is indeed fast.
But try to let it run a bit more between gears :))
A well jetted and piped Yamaha motor can likely pull near 9K. That tallest gear shows it.
You should pick up a couple of books on porting two-strokes. For instance if you raised the exhaust port height it would allow the motor to rev higher and make more horsepower, it would also reduce torque. But you’re moving less weight than the motor was originally designed for shouldn’t be an issue. Fantastic build looks like a lot of fun. Those motors have no power valve and it’s air cooled so it’s just great to learn to port.
Like Vasily really needs your advice, listen if it needed porting, he would have already done it, and well. I hate these keyboard "experts" who probably don't even own a bicycle giving high-performance mod tips. This is like me telling Dale Earnhardt how to drive agressively and win more races you twit....
Congrats on the 8. You were flying.Great video, thanks for sharing.
As a guy who drag races motorcycles, that was pretty good. If i can, I want too give you a couple of pointers.
If your going slick/wheelie bar, drive around the water box and just roll he back tire into the edge of the water. PULL FOWARD and then do a small burnout. It will clean the junk off the tire and put a little heat into it
Use the right groove on the track. If the bike makes a left or right move coming off the starting line, the christmas tree is a lot softer than that concrete wall.
You need more Launch RPM. No worries about looping with wheelie bars, and slicks need a little wheelspin too "get up on the tire".
Just a FYI...gearing correct....thats about a high 12 low 13 second machine in the quarter mile.
That thing is awesome. Nice job dude. Killed it.
Congratulations!!! It Sounds SO GOOD 🔥🔥🔥
I’d love to see more. I like drag racing and love mini bikes and this is the best of both worlds.
Excellent video!
Congratulations on your accomplishments!
Congratulations on making it into the 8's. I was going to ask why you weren't lining up in the groove. But you got it figured out! Great you shared that info with on your video as well. We all start somewhere and get better with seat time. Look forward to whatever you build next. Stay safe & enjoy most of all. ✌
Good on you for having a go, cheers from OZ.
congratulations vas. that must make it your most successful build yet!
Still waiting for the Cafe build, probably waiting for parts. Man that's cool people give you tips.
I will be starting on it soon! Just want to get the crosskart out the way
looks like fun. Good job bro !
OMG that looks fun! Ok - looking for the next post w your upgrades of the slick tire to heat up a soft tire in the box, wheelie bar, lower PSI.. So much fun with your friends enjoy 🎉
No....
Don't retire it....please don't. Weld a tail hoop on the back of the frame to keep you from flying off. Then, figure out a better peg position. I know you can run consistent 8s on that thing. You got this brother! Great video and congrats!
Put a banshee motor on that thing would be just awesome and one of a kind build haha
it's dark and your nailing it down the strip. yeh boi. i am very envious
cant wait because of you me and my friends are building one so keep making videos
Great job young man! Loved it!
What ever method of shifting you choose (the kill switch, clutch or no clutch), apply slight pressure to the shifter before hitting the switch, clutch etc. It will speed up shifts and make them smoother.
Getting the maximum output of a 2 stroke is tough. You have to think of the clutch as your throttle. Just before you get the green
light you need to rev the engine. Get the rpm up so that you are in a better spot on the torque curve. Then it's all about the clutch.
You can't rush it, especially on asphalt with a knobby tire. You need to let it out slowly and smoothly. If the bike tries to spin out on
you then you need to ease back on the clutch but NOT the throttle. It's a tough dance to learn but it's what makes 2 strokes so much fun.
Love the build by the way!!
Great Job young man!
Yeah man. You hit your goal with it. You’ve got bigger and better projects going on right now. No need to look back brother 👍🏼
That looks fun!
That's contagiously sick FUN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a fun watch. And yeah, if your vehicle won't do a burnout with at least two full seconds of white smoke, stay out of the water. True for almost any vehicle.
Keep up the good work I love your builds
My home track and has been my entire life. One of my favorite places to be. Brainerd optimist drag strip hold a very very special place in my heart so thank you for the Post. BTW that was Mr. Steve Longley, AKA former owner of the track, he's a really good guy. Funny story about him is back in the day and he is main bracket race car broke and his in the finals, so he asked the man he was up against if he would be up to letting him race in the finals using his pit scooter, his opponent agreed but quickly regretted it. From that moment on Steve said it was a lot cheaper to race it rather than his race car and one just about every bracket race with a 50cc scooter for that season. The catch was next year there is a strict girl against that given by NHRA which I have to admit I agreed with which was two wheels were not allowed to race against four wheels with that much weight of a weight difference.
Haha great story!
Love this build, by far my favorite
Good for you V. We'll done.
Hey man I've been watching you for quite a while I'm amazed at what you build I really am you're a very gifted very smart. I definitely enjoy watching what you come up with next I got to give you that ...that little bikes are rocket ship!!!! Awesome job man
Good times! That looks fun!
You are crazy🤣🤣70+mph in that minibike ,God bless you an keep you from no harm, good job💪💪💪💪💪💪
Wow, congrats Brother, thats awesome! Be safe :)
I’m a drag racing fan so I’m loving the drag bike content. It would be cool to see what the mower can do when you get the bugs worked out.
It was a little hard to see how you were shifting, but here is a little trick just in case. After launching don't use the clutch. Put pressure on the shifter then let off throttle just a little. Of course this is all done very quickly. Maybe on drag bike V2, put an air cylinder on the shifter connected to a button that also cuts the ignition, for a super quick shift.
I would love to see the shifter kart at the drag strip too, my favorite build of yours
good build bro Solid!!!!!!!
You can improve on youre times just with the shifting, dont let go on the throtle, always full throtle while shifting!
maybe dont talk bs?? we already had a accident on this channel.... thats never works with a 2 stroke engine like this...
Exactly dont let off and once your moving you dont really need to use the clutch either,i know alot that dont use the clutch at the track
@@CainSample Yyup, its little tricks like this that can shave up some numbers on the time ;)
I never touch the clutch after the whole shot especially on a 2 S Nothing like the sound of a 2 S quick shifting down the strip 🔥
May want to consider a air shift. Then all you would have to do is hold the throtel open?
AWESOME DUDE!!!!
Congrats, man!
Great job dude!
Awesome job. You could see how well you hooked up on your 8:58 run. So little wheel spin.
That’s a fast mini bike.You did a great job.
Congrats on the 8s bro 🔥👍 I knew you was going to bust out a 8 when you put the slick and wheely bar on Awesome little bike great build I hate to see it go ✌️
Looking forward to drag bike 2.0 👍
I used to drag race a Yamaha 650, KZ 1000, and a GSX 1100. Your runs on that mini was so much cooler.
Looks like an absolute blast...... Good run
Move the pegs as far back on the frame as possible and either get a pingel shifter for it or move the shifter to thw rear pegs and add a long shift rod that way your feet will be behind you adding weight for traction, your body can get lower for less drag and you'll be planted on the bike as long as you can keep your feet planted on the pegs... Also, pick a tire line and stay in it as your rear tire loses bite every time you get out of the groove...
I love the drag bike videos keep it going
Your video makes me miss my drag bike. Nice job on the passes.
That was pretty awesome. It's all in the launch. I think a tach and shift light would help a lot with consistency and testing. Sounds like you're short shifting until 5th gear where 2 strokes have such peaky high end power bands you might go a lot quicker letting each great rev out. Just my thoughts. Looks like a lot of fun
They sell big bore kits for these. lol... you could make it more spicy.. I would change the sprocket gearing, so you can still start in first and have one more high gear at the end of the track. You can shave a lot of time on your take off-- you need to anticipate the light a little better and let out on the clutch earlier... edit: actually you were getting much better starts by the end
Way to send it! It must be a scary ride...Love the little blaster minibike it has way more potential really for cheap....
Awesome job you did on that
Nice results!
Done 8. 3 in a car and I was impressed and scared you are mad kid more power to you!
Hell yeah bro sweet bike
I Would Definitely Like To See More Of This Mini Bike
O my goodness wait till I show our channel to my 11 year old grandson ,,,Cant wait to learn what you have done to your bike
Great job!!
definitely wanna see more vids of this beast
Holy shit i thought it was 8 sec 1/4. That would be as fast as My hayabusa almost 😂😂
Not to be a party pooper or anything, its an 1/8th mile not 1/4. Still awesome though!
@@brianswelding that was exacly what i ment with my comment mate 😀👍
@@nikolaiownz oh my bad 🤪 👍

Me too
10:06 Race Face
Congrats! and to think I used to chase the low teens!
Good job man, ..looks fun. You don't leave on the green, you time your leave on the last yellow...
Good job!!
Good job vasily I'm happy for you man
Nice one VB
brilliant fun!
Love this build.
Yikes ! 😲 love it 😎
You are a brave and badass young man! Amazing!
Very nice man!
8.5 sec! SWEET!!! That fast, you need more protection gear on. Wreck and it wouldn't be pretty. KUDOS!! My grandson 12 and younger are racing quads! It's insanely AWESOME!
your runs looked pretty dailed in i think it was all about your launch an the 60 foot that makes or breaks it for ya.. congrats on the 8s good stuff..
stay out of the water unless you have a slick and heat it..
......go around and back into the water if you're running a street or knobby tire on the front as well. Having the front tire dripping water at the line negates that fine burnout - "spinnin' ain't winnin," as they say.
This channel has grown so much. I was here around 15k
Cool bike man good to see you keeping the 2 stroke scene alive. If I could offer some advice that will easily put you where you wanna be,stop throttling thru the gears. The only time you hit wide open throttle is on take off after that you clutch and bang thru the gears leaving it wide open. It takes a little practice but keeps you in the pipe and does away with any and all throttle lag. It will not hurt anything it will be a continuous pull and will change everything. Good luck bro.
When I was a kid, I wanted a minibike in the worst way!
Mom & Dad: "Hell no!"
Old timer gave you good advice. I suggest that you get to know him better. Good friends are hard to find and good friends with good advice are almost unheard of.
More mini bike. Watching your builds rip is always fun I think you can get it in the sevens
@vasily builds When you kick start the bike keep you foot on the kick start lever. It'll save your ankle if you ever get kick back
