  • We're in Mondulkiri, Cambodia - home to most of Cambodia's elephants. There are wild elephants in Cambodia, but they are few in numbers and quite difficult to find. Most of the elephant tourism in Cambodia involves elephants that once worked on farms and in the forest. We're trekking into the valley to find elephants that are taken care of by the Elephant Valley Project (EVP). Watch the video to learn more about what the EVP does, and how you can see elephants in Cambodia the most humane way possible.

Cambodia it’s a jungle country and that’s where wild life as elephants , tigers , parrots build their habitat in the forestry. Since the Genocide (1975-1979) and with bombardment that nearly destroyed the whole country Millions Khmers died from atrocities these wild animals mostly are escaping to others neighbors forestry or territorials nowadays wild animals as tiger and elephants are scarce in Cambodia. Thank you for your beautiful journey in Cambodia. Wishing you’ll a peaceful trip.❤🇰🇭🥰🙏

The "ethical" elephant "sanctuary" has literally become a multimillion dollar business in Thailand, where Elephants are "RENTED" not "RESCUED". Recently, a Swiss expat was arrested for kicking a Thai doctor while operating an elephant sanctuary in Phuket called Green Elephant Sanctuary Park where he RENTED elephants and charged 100 dollars and lived on a 30, 000 dollar a month villa near the beach where he kicked the Thai women, his visa was revoked and his elephant "sanctuary" dissolved as it was a mere business.
There are now 100s of these sanctuaries in Thailand raking in millions of dollars all in the name of "rescue" :). Thai government has already banned logging, tusk, hunting, circus etc, not sure how these sanctuaries were able to find 1000s of "distressed" elephants in the last five years :)

Wow, that's crazy. I really despise people who pull on heart strings for financial gain.

It's paved and perfectly fine until you get within a few KM of the EVP headquarters. It'll be super dusty for that last bit of riding, but 76 is golden.
