We invented Hindi Marathi etc to make Sanskrit commonly usable, so did v invented Urdu for dealing with Farasi ; why cant v invent Hinglish to make English comfortable for us to speak and understand ?

India should use 2024 to strengthen internally by building an internal political consensus to economic and military development and strategic commitment to not get influenced by external pressures across party lines ?

Brigadier garu says acquire advanced tech and capabilities as a strategic goal. Sounds more like a means to an end to me than a goal in itself. And that goal should be articulated. Tech for empowering our economy, and global influence perhaps ? And ‘local” would be a good and preferable qualifier for tech.

Btw if you are hoping that Indian kids are happily earning in west what happens to them, I can also promise you any good Indian kid in US is either suffering or already dead.
USA changes good kids, and now a days very very fast. So if PhDs from USA come back to India and any company hires them, they may not see a great benefit from that directly.
To get that benefit you will need to establish a central strategy of innovative work execution and make its decisions public. Like what to innivate first and what to focus on next.

Sir, for how long should we continue to be non interventional in foreign affairs ? Has this policy served us well ? If not, why are we sticking with it ? Just in the hope that we will get a fair play award from someone and so we can pat ourselves in the back as the most moral nation in the neighborhood and beyond ?

@@gunnersshot9829 - You've said that Chinese do not like Houthi activities against shipping because it disrupts and threatens their trade routes. What about China-Russia plans for creating a new arctic shipping route to Europe which runs along Russia's northern coastline? Would that not give China a unique contingency/immunity?

Only Americans consider 1 star as generals I believe. In the British influenced countries, 2 star and above are called generals.... ie Major General, Lt General and General.but brigadier is also a big post typically heading a brigade.

The unresolved border dispute with China is the biggest item which limits India's flexibility in its foreign relations.
    Resolving this issue will remove:
    -50% of issues with pakistan
    - 90% of issues with the rest of the neighbours.
    - provide much greater leeway in dealing with the US and BRICS
This is a British legacy created to keep India bogged down and has worked successfully up to now. No need or advantage in keeping it going.

Will the US stop supporting Taiwan? I do not think so because the US also understood the weaknesses of the Chinese Navy. Chinese Navy is so shaky to capture Kinmen, alternatively known as Quemoy which is a group of islands governed as a county by the Republic of China (Taiwan), only 10 km (6.2 mi) east of the city of Xiamen in Fujian. Chinese do not even occupy this Island which is very near to the mainland. But still, it is under Taiwan. Chinese are Hypocrites. Do you think China will be able to mobilize the operation like the Normandy landings? No one can set them right and some disturbance will be there till they become bankrupt.

USA has already lost, all angles of movement by USA are checked and all are blocked.
Even a kinetic war with China might not succeed by USA and its allies within 2-3 years. And Unfortunate loss of lives will happen without any change on the ground as far as political shifts go.
So, India has to accept the status quo fact of Chinese dominance and in turn allow for greater access to young people in key defence technology sectors for private sector exploitation.
For ex. Banning western major sites and creating Indian version of the same websites.
India for that will need to create many basic necessary things like your own software stack, increased surveillance on citizens, creating internet that can be cut off with the rest of the world if need be.
Basically, if you want anythjng done, it can only be done with creative destruction. All that you can do is manage the tradeoffs.
