Toyota was a fabric producer before they ventured into the automotive industry. Maybe it was indeed a vintage Toyota sewing machine you saw at the market. 😅
@nickloong I actually googled it when i got home!.... who knew? Learn something new every day, love it! ❤️
Enjoy Ur videos. Australia 🇦🇺
Hello AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 🤗 thank you so much
It would be nice if you could letting your viewers in on the locations of your exploring 😉😊
Look in the description 👍 You'll find the pinned location 👍😉
The yellow melon is cross between cantaloupe and honeydew. It tastes sweet and delicious. Plenty in the US.
@bongsellers4572 it's not one of my favorite fruits so I didn't know they even had these in the US. Are they a type of hybrid then?
@@wattstraveling I am not sure what you meant by " hybrid " .
The grocery stores carry them even Costco.
@bongsellers4572 like a cross between two fruits 😁
Have a good time. Those peaches looked fresh and delicious, quite cheap too. The imported peaches in KL are so expensive. I normally buy the canned peaches, about 11 half slices, juicy and delicious, around RM8 @ USD1.60.
I loved this market! ❤️
@@wattstravelingWonderful. 😀
Maybe those are white peaches like white nectarines where it's best to eat when firm. The yellow melon is a hami melon which is similar to cantaloupes. I had one of those bao before but it was so much bun and not enough filling but yours had more filling.
@quangb8448 hey, thank you for that! Never heard of a white peach? And ya, we've found sometimes the bao buns don't have much in them either.... and were pleasantly surprised by this one! Thanks for watching! 👍
I go to that market almost daily, the peaches suffer the same thing as most places, they have to pick them early, then they dont get tree ripe, so they arent that great. The mangoes and pineaples are usually real good, and the small bananas too.
Hi there Brian 👋 ya, the peaches were just okay. Next time, I'll get some mangos and more veggies I think I love this market 😋
Have you tried the custard apples? so good! Vietnam is the first place I'd seen them.
@_SeeIt hi there, No, I haven't. Might have to try them! Thanks
@@wattstraveling I see them at most the fruit stalls in your video. I think mangosteen are a little better but I'm sure you have tried those already.
When in Hue, walk across the bridge and visit Dong Ba Market.
@bettyli6635 maybe next week? Hue won't be posted for a few weeks. Thanks for the suggestion about Dong Ba! 👍
Man, buy a flower for your lovely lady.
Awe....all the flowers were so nice! I didn't expect to see those and the fruit baskets! 😀
The yellow fruit you want to ask about is yellow melon
@lexuanson1616 yeah when we asked that all she said was "melon" but it looked like cantaloupe 👍
I think when you mentioned organic fruits/veggies you mean no fertilizers if I'm not mistaken?
In the local news very often you can see Thailand and especially Japan rejecting tons of produce from Vietnam due to the excess concentration of fertilizers found.
Not sure what the regulation in Vietnam is on the amount permitted but surely it's higher than EU who has the strictest green measure 😂
@yamuiemata hey that's good to know, I thought maybe the fruits and vegetables at these markets would be more organic, so maybe they aren't? Thanks 👍
@@wattstraveling Maybe not in Japan but the fruits and veggies in Thailand also contain a lot of chemical fertilizers and pesticides .
@@hungcuongnguyen293 good to know
@@wattstraveling pregnant vietnamese women don't shop there for sure. Cancer will raise a lot in vietnam, the farmers only think about money.... if you don't know the source, vietnamese food (market, restaurant...) is mostly poison everywhere. Ok for holydays but not long term.
the first fruit looks like a nectarine? vietnamese people like crunchy tarty fruit to eat with salt. thank you for sharing! your videos are really helping me curb my impatience for our trip to da nang in October. By the way, what do you film with? I hear so much about how bad robbery is in Vietnam. Do you ever get scared someone will do a drive-by and take your camera?
@jenniepham5079 hey thanks for watching! So far we've found Vietnam very safe.....hope it stays that way 👍 I film with my phone! 👍
Jenniepham . What you heard about robbery in Vietnam was just misinformation . I bet you are a VK , completely disconnected from the today reality in Vietnam .
I had the avocado ice cream at this market, it's a must try.
@@versasys interesting 👍
Bạn vào bên trong chợ có kem bơ Cô Vân và những thực phẩm địa phương rất ngon và rẻ
Good to know!
I am the shopper at home so it is good to see what prices are for everything.
Don.
Yeah, it was definitely cheaper here than the Full Market for some things. 👍
I wish I'm shopping with you two. You sure look like you enjoyed walking around. 😅😅😅❤
We DID! We love going to local markets, we met some very nice people and the choices were endless, it was GREAT! 😀

Hi guys, thanks for the tour. Which country do you like better Vietnam or Cambodia? Or is this not a fair question?
@@user-dt1bb7mt9z we haven't been to Cambodia YET! it's on the list!
Sorry, for some reason I thought you had. Enjoy.
@@user-dt1bb7mt9z no, Laos.
100K FOR PEACHES 🤣🤣 I WOULD OFFER 50K AND BUY TEM. IF YOU DONT BARGAIN YOU PAY FAR TOO MUCH 🌏🌏🏖
Good to know!
Hair cut for men in HCMC is about 40,000 - 50,000 dong. Hair cut and color and perm for women is about 180,000 -200,000 dong.
Wow, good to know. I had no idea it was so expensive here? Why is that? Is the product expensive to buy or imported? And thanks for watching to the end ❤️
@@wattstraveling ….perhaps you need to drive further in….further away from tourist area (or away from foreigners in general) ?? Go to real local area. That’s what we normally do. Oftentimes, nondescript businesses inside their houses….
@@wattstraveling I never heard such an expensive price for hair work in VN . Maybe it was a misunderstanding or a bad translation . My wife always pays only 400 K ( tip included ) for her hair cut , wash and dye at one of the best lady hair salon in Saigon .
@hungcuongnguyen293 nope, you heard it correctly.....105-300 CAD for cut and color!
I am looking all over but one place that quoted me 1.9M is not in the tourist area at all.... and they were the cheapest so far.
*_Xin chào_* !

Is Amazon available in VN?
@@TheRexxrexx Amazon isn't available here.... but there are other deliveries companies like Lazada and Shoppee. 👍

Looking forward to trying them
@@wattstraveling You convinced me to go to that market to pick up some fruits. Picked up some peaches and guava. They are white peach and a little softer than I like but they are sweet. The flesh will not turn into the peach color due to the name, white peach. Hope they have white nectarines some day. No bao guy while I was there.
@quangb8448 they ARE white peaches! 👍 boooo you missed the bun bao! Thanks for watching, glad you went 👍
