Grandma cracks me up! Gotta love her!! You should really check out the low air loss-alternating pressure air mattress!! It will help with her bed sores not only does it prevent them but can also help heal them by constantly moving her so she doesn’t have pressure in one spot all the time! I bought one for my Grandma because I was her only caregiver and I didn’t constantly have to wake her up to move her around to prevent bed sores. Best $500 I have ever spent!!! After she past away, I resold it. So it’s a win, win! Plus it helped out the lady that brought it for her disabled child. She couldn’t afford a new one, so I didn’t charge her very much. Goes to show that LOVE truly is the greatest medicine. Grandma is being cared for by her family who loves her so much! This is so heartwarming to watch!

My son is like you. He took care of his Grandma for 5+ years. He took her to the park and casinos and attended Sunday mass together before the pandemic. My mom passed at the age of 98 due to dementia and some complications She was a diabetic and heart patient. My son is having a tough time moving on since his grandparents died. By the way, we are from California. You're so good at doing that. May the good Lord bless you always.

There are some one-way extra long straws that we gave my grandma so she could directly reach for a sip. She had arthritis and osteoporosis as well. Your videos are great and you're doing a great job.

@9:55 the look that you give your grandma Chris is just so sweet. You leave no doubt that you genuinely love your grandma. There is a very special relationship there and I appreciate this sharing of it. I so wished I had recorded videos of myself with my grandparents. I miss them so much. All I have are my memories and photographs and I don't have recordings of voices or anything anymore. That is what is so hurtful. You will have these memories for a lifetime. I better close this because I really cannot see to type anymore. Tears of joy for the love between you two and remembering the love I had for my grands. God bless you Chris. Truthfully. Its a wonderful thing you are doing taking care of your grandma . Bc i am a nurse aide but i work in a nursing home. It takes alot of patience, love , time , physically, emotionally.
