Being semantic, I don't think baby bowser is murdery: He is hauled away by kamek, continues to be a threat in later games, and grows up to be bowser, thus meaning he did not die here, so does not count as a death.
No not a direct death, but because of this act and Kemak’s way of upbringing, Bowser becomes a tyrant and constantly tries to take over the Mushroom Kingdom.

You can kill ghosts in the Mario world, that’s just a fact
Everybody knows that you can kill a ghost, and that they just become double ghosts.
Killing a ghost still means you killed someone’s spirit and consciousness along with their ethereal body, so it still counts as murder even if they’re intangible
If anything, killing a ghost is extra murdery, you've killed their immortal soul

I would say, semantically speaking, the last level has 0 KO’s, since a KO is defined as a murder, and Bowser canonically survives.
Does he though? (to be clear, not speaking about this game in particular). We have seen dry bowser, meaning any instance where he shows up implying that bowser died, then the semantics of the magikoopa's role in bowser's army. In those same instances where dry bowser appears, it is usually by the boss steroid magic of Kamek. If Kamek uses magic to revive bowser, it is still a kill, and if we have seen him do it on screen, who's to say he didnt do it EVERY time bowser fell into lava at the hands of the mario crew? *SEMANTICS!* XD
But it *feels* murdery.

Love the joke of not making a Smash Bros episode because she's taking so long on beating World of Light without spirits or skills on the hardest difficulty
Pretty sure the jokes about never doing a Smash episode and recovering from dental work were just references to the fact that it took Champ 8 months to beat Smash World of Light, and had two root canals during that timespan. She took a real life event and made it the justification for this run. Glorious.
Genuinely yes, this was a filler episode I figured I could do really quickly to help make up for Smash taking so long (and as always I completely underestimated the scope and this ended up being a decently big episode)

Pretty sure the answer to that is yes... Compared to Subspace without jumps or Up+B, or World of Light without Spirits (both of which were proven, and the latter my current LP), an All-Star mode is nothing!

Locations and types of challenge rooms.
Type of final task chosen.
Opponent statistics at the end of the gathering phase.
Which enemies, chests, powerups, etc. decide to spawn where.
All of this is perfectly fine in a casual sense, but when determining if a challenge run is "possible"? Way too messy, way too fast.

I do think it would be an interesting test if nothing else.
Just use bowser: side smash is great, down smash gains height (and side smash if you grab an enemy), is heavy so you won't get launched as much. (Yes, I am a bowser main.)

I did something like this in shovel knight. I chose king of cards, because all other campaigns had mandatory midbosses to needlessly add to the killcount.
Well, it's possible. You can beat king of cards while only defeating the main bosses (being both specter knight fights, king pridemoor, the troupple king, king birder, the enchantress and the grand triumverat) and not killing a single other enemy (i did allow enemy suicides though). I have two notes about the run.
1. The bubble frog heirloom is 100% essential. Get it as soon as possible.
2. The troupple king is the hardest boss in the game. Most of his attacks use other troupples, which for the purposes of this run count as enemies. I had to get the armor that replenishes vigor when dealing damage as well as max health and vigor to win that fight (i used the bubble frog to stop king knight from spinning after his attacks to avoid accidentally killing a troupple, that's why all that vigor was needed).
I'm a simple man: when I see a vg myths video, I click.

I loved the video, very informative, and you make it very entertaining.
There a re a few speerun tricks that might make some sections easier, although I can't compare because I don't speedrun, so I haven't tried them ever:
-In 6-4, you can flutter above the wall, so you don't need the key, and thus, the kill is unnecesary. I don't know if you need to kill-bounce on an enemy to perform it, though.
-In 6-5, the autoscroller can be avoided by some pixel-perfect jumps. I know this sounds too hard, but hey, speedrunners do it! I assume this way you can just outrun the little fellas.
-In 6-6, the key can be grabbed from the left with some precise positioning and tongue skills.
That was probably the most ridiculous and semantic challenge I’ve ever seen.
Therefore it makes it the best
