So while we know guys don't give a damn what a potential wife makes, guys also have 2 sets of standards. Fun material and wife material. Fun material is breast size, beautiful, dtf. Wife material is "will she be a headache", "can I trust her with my home and finances", "is she willing to trust me", "will she be a nurturing mother", "is she going to be loyal", then is she pretty.
lydia , some of those ladies seem like they were gold diggers women saying that a man has to have a minimum wage between 60k to 200k. I personally wouldn't want a woman who only wants me because I make a lot of money. I have a bachelor's of Science degree in mechanical engineering. I personally will be making close to 100K within the next year or two. for a woman only wanted me because of how much I make, she's not worth it. I personally don't care how much money a woman makes or what her height is or if she's heavy set. I went with women in the past who were heavy sets. I'll bet you a lot of women in that survey are still single, and they probably will remain single until they change their standards.😮

Lydia, it's not rigged. There are tens of these videos, and the results are more or less the same. The results align with well-established psychology, whereas women are in general extremely selective and men are not. This is a result of evolutionary psychology and biological realities. Actually, of all the videos I have seen like this, the women were actually significantly less selective than in other videos. Other videos show women with exceedingly high selective standards, usually between ~0.02% and 1% of the population, more or less matching data provided by dating apps and aligns with various social theories.

Whilst I do agree with you she does have a point and age range. This might actually make it worse in terms of wanting a man who earns a certain amount but might balance it out as more older people are likely to be obese. I've additional thing though is that it is one thing to ask men and women about what they want in a partner but what I'm hearing here is the perfect guy or girl, that and it's easy to say these things in a survey but in real life attraction doesn't work this way, you may be attracted to someone's personality and even if they don't earn that much you might see potential for future happiness and growth, which can be a good thing but is often not as people expect their partners to change or that they can change them and this rarely happens and is why so many relationships fail.

Lydia, the questions are designed to show what men and women are looking for physically. It shows where the standards are. If you are walking down the street and see a guy that is 5'3" tall most women wouldn't be interested right off the bat. Same with obesity (overweight), same with age, etc. And the more adamant a person is about a specific attribute, the less they are willing to be open-minded. The more interesting test would be to ask a group in an urban setting these questions and then go out to the country and ask an equal number of men/women to see how the answers may change.

If you ask the two sides different questions, you open things up to be roundly criticized as stacked/unfair, as you were doing when they got the same question set.
The correct move is to build a set of what both guys and girls are looking for, and ask all the same questions for BOTH. (Some questions might need to be... edited for vagueness, if you know what I mean.) Of course, that does take a lot longer... and possibly opens things up or closes them down.

No the difference is: Even if the guys would answer "Oh I prefer D size porn boobs" in the real world they would STILL date and fuck a girl with a B size breast as long as her attractiveness turns the guy on and if she has the secondary attributes like personality to turn the man on emotionally.
Man are willing to date someone who is completely out of their "preferences", women are not, not at all. So even if you would ask lots of guys for breast size, ass size, waist, proportions, face type, height etc. those answers mean nothing because if you find a girl attractive as a guy you have no problem dating her even if she is Asian and you said you don't like Asians. For men, it is all about attractiveness, visuals, and sex appeal/personality.

A total turn off is high maintenance, resting bitch face etc. There have been studies made showing that many men don't approach quite a lot of women just because they felt the woman is in a bad mood or was giving off "leave me alone vibes", and then they asked the women and most women did not even realize that they had this passive/subconscious barrier up that discourages men.
I have to say that the test isn't rigged. To be fair you have to ask thr same general questions. Age range is taken into account. Most men only look at the body as an initial draw. If he's into it then the guy will check out the scene, and if she's got the other qualities then she may be a keeper. I absolutely know of a couple of women that are mostly about a guys wallet and package size. I've heard it from them in person. They tend to be the kind of girls that spend a lot of time playing head games or chasing guys with a certain reputation. For those reasons I was always careful about who I got close to after I hit 18

Kinda a tough one for the obese part of it since obesity is typically measured by BMI which is inherently flawed since it doesn't account for the composition of someones body weight. Someone could be 5'7 and weigh 180lbs, with a body composition of mostly muscle and according to BMI they would be considered "overweight" even if their doctor has confirmed that they are 100% healthy. So this isn't really a perfect process of figuring out what percentage of the population is "dateable" by that metric alone.
I have a health issue that limits my movement, so i put on weight. the BMI is actually based off insurance in the 1920's i america i believe and over the years they "found" it was right. but it was based on a flawed set of figures

You're right, but how many short men who are a rippling mass of muscle have you met? They exist and yes the BMI doesn't work for them. But they're such a small proportion of the overall population, statistically they're non existent.

Yes, they should have included more beauty standards in the men's questions, but most men are willing to compromise and the test clearly shows that they have more realistic expectations.

I'll play Devil's Advocate... 23% is roughly one in 4 people meet her criteria. That is pretty down to earth. I mean sure, an "accepting" person might aim for over 50% but still you need some... standards to make a match work. "I'll date anyone" sounds nice, but it also is unlikely to create a lasting match. You will need to find something you like about them right?
The questions... will never be completely fine you may be right that guys, especially "college kids" , would have different "key questions" but it is a "bit" fair to ask both genders the same/related questions. The women didn't need to care about height, or money, or whatever... the guys didn't really in this sample.
They could ask a different set of questions, to both, to lean into your idea of men's requirements. But I feel is you asked about chest "specs" some ladies would want muscled and some men would like... other features.
It's actually hard to quantify things like personality or character on the street questions level. For this you need long and elaborate question sheets and/or several meetings. Some people are so good at hiding their real selves that it only get's out when worse comes to worst. Given the Type of video and the possibilities of street question those questions are the best they could do. Also their questions show one important thing: Both genders have a different view about materialistic (surface level) things (with money being the option reducer and the obsession with height is baffeling me every time). About the questions to dudes...
Well... Dudes do filter out on weight and height, as we saw even in the interviews... though most dudes' filters about height and weight (mine included) are just "below mine". Me personally, I also exclude obese... nowadays... but didn't once upon a time, back when I was still desperate enough.
The acceptable age range for men is also often larger, though not just "any".
When it comes to apperance features like breast size or butt size or whatever else... ok, people have preferences on that too, but they are usually preferences, not hard filters. Most guys (again, myself included), if they are single, would take a woman even if she is not meeting their appearance preferences, if only she passes the hard filters.
But yes, income isn't a criteria for guys. Agree. Me personally... if she has ANY job, that's a win already. An unemployed woman is a red flag, but even a minimum wage working one is already good enough.
I am not single right now, but I do wonder if that is asking for too much... Like, how lucky I am to currently have a woman that meets all of my hard filters... and a significant part of my appearance and character preferences too.

I’m a big fella, obese, but I can “go for a walk around the block”, and do many other stuff. Sure, maybe some issues for running or doing some more sporty stuff, but guess most gals would give me a pass just based on first looks alone, leaving all else like personality, being a fun person, all those behind. And I have dated big and skinny girls before, but definitely it’s getting worse the situation as the years go by.
Man, I wish you well and luck. I am the type of a male that is a little more than slightly overweight. I used to be (10 to 15 years ago) the aerobic, lean-muscles-type-of-a-guy who’s jogging and exercising at least 2 hours a day - at the very least. Since then, for various reasons, but mainly an injury to my ankle, I gained way more than 50lbs. From time to time I have been challenged about my weight by passerby, friends or family.
After a small time of self-loathing, I reminded myself of how much I liked to actively walk all my life, prior to that injury. So I got back at it : walking fast (and generally moving to a sweat). I didn’t loose a lot of weight in the 7 past years (not more than 20lbs); but only by leading an active life I could prevent myself from gaining more weight.

I would like to point out how people are calling these standards when they're preferences. Chicks say they want a guy 6ft or taller and that's normal. But if a guy says he doesn't want a fat chick, it's body-shaming... Double standards? I need to find this app or whatever it is. I think the woman I would be interested in will likely not be very common in today's society. If I find the app or whatever it is, I'll share the results in an edit to this comment.
Edit: I found it, but it only seems to be for women looking for men. So I found another one that allows you to select which you're looking for. However, it doesn't allow you to select annual income, height, or exclude fat people. Even despite those options not being available, 0.03% of the population fits my criteria. So it's likely a lot less than 0.03% because I do have preferences regarding those 3 metrics. Exclude fat chicks. Minimum income of $120k annually, no shorter than 5'4". Also, I have a body count metric too.

There are many reasons why someone might be overweight, and I don't want to deal with any of them. I'm not broken and I'm not looking to fix anyone.
Having a low body count lowers your chances of having an STD. You could still have an STD and not know it while still being as to pass it on. Having to contact everyone you've ever been with since you don't know who you got it from would be annoying. The majority of the population has an STD. Most don't even know it. Apparently, it's somewhere between 50 and 80 percent of the population. I'm not among them and I would like to keep it that way. Many women lie about their body count, but there are ways to tell if a woman has a high body count.

There are actually two separate tests. One is for guys and one is for girls and they have different questions that get compared against the US census statistics. More importantly, did she take the test or no?
For the boobs question, personally if I can feel them in my hands that's big enough any more is just great until it gets to disproportionate amount, iw wouldn't want my significant other having such large boobs that is pains them, or keeps them from doing daily activitys, I've found almost every range of boobs attractive, except for the overly big ones that you know are from unnatural procedures

The height thing is also very much a USA thing - because we don't use metric, 6' is a "magic number" to women here. Same question in europe gives a very normal distribution because it's in cm, there's no "magic number".
