lydia , some of those ladies seem like they were gold diggers women saying that a man has to have a minimum wage between 60k to 200k. I personally wouldn't want a woman who only wants me because I make a lot of money. I have a bachelor's of Science degree in mechanical engineering. I personally will be making close to 100K within the next year or two. for a woman only wanted me because of how much I make, she's not worth it. I personally don't care how much money a woman makes or what her height is or if she's heavy set. I went with women in the past who were heavy sets. I'll bet you a lot of women in that survey are still single, and they probably will remain single until they change their standards.😮
@@johnbutler4236 That's the problem, they don't think they have to change anything about their "standards". Not being able to find anyone who fits their criteria MIGHT make them change their minds, but at this point highly unlikely.
Lydia, it's not rigged. There are tens of these videos, and the results are more or less the same. The results align with well-established psychology, whereas women are in general extremely selective and men are not. This is a result of evolutionary psychology and biological realities. Actually, of all the videos I have seen like this, the women were actually significantly less selective than in other videos. Other videos show women with exceedingly high selective standards, usually between ~0.02% and 1% of the population, more or less matching data provided by dating apps and aligns with various social theories.
Whilst I do agree with you she does have a point and age range. This might actually make it worse in terms of wanting a man who earns a certain amount but might balance it out as more older people are likely to be obese. I've additional thing though is that it is one thing to ask men and women about what they want in a partner but what I'm hearing here is the perfect guy or girl, that and it's easy to say these things in a survey but in real life attraction doesn't work this way, you may be attracted to someone's personality and even if they don't earn that much you might see potential for future happiness and growth, which can be a good thing but is often not as people expect their partners to change or that they can change them and this rarely happens and is why so many relationships fail.

Lydia, the questions are designed to show what men and women are looking for physically. It shows where the standards are. If you are walking down the street and see a guy that is 5'3" tall most women wouldn't be interested right off the bat. Same with obesity (overweight), same with age, etc. And the more adamant a person is about a specific attribute, the less they are willing to be open-minded. The more interesting test would be to ask a group in an urban setting these questions and then go out to the country and ask an equal number of men/women to see how the answers may change.

If you ask the two sides different questions, you open things up to be roundly criticized as stacked/unfair, as you were doing when they got the same question set. The correct move is to build a set of what both guys and girls are looking for, and ask all the same questions for BOTH. (Some questions might need to be... edited for vagueness, if you know what I mean.) Of course, that does take a lot longer... and possibly opens things up or closes them down.
Also on the boob size question, most guys would probably go between B and D which would be like 80% of the population? Women on height pretty much always want someone who's average height which cuts off way more lmao
No the difference is: Even if the guys would answer "Oh I prefer D size porn boobs" in the real world they would STILL date and fuck a girl with a B size breast as long as her attractiveness turns the guy on and if she has the secondary attributes like personality to turn the man on emotionally. Man are willing to date someone who is completely out of their "preferences", women are not, not at all. So even if you would ask lots of guys for breast size, ass size, waist, proportions, face type, height etc. those answers mean nothing because if you find a girl attractive as a guy you have no problem dating her even if she is Asian and you said you don't like Asians. For men, it is all about attractiveness, visuals, and sex appeal/personality. Every man will remember every single compliment he ever received in his life and the woman who complimented him, even when it was decades ago and he never met her again. Men resonate strongly with nice female personalities who are a femme fatale but also funny and easy going at the same time. A total turn off is high maintenance, resting bitch face etc. There have been studies made showing that many men don't approach quite a lot of women just because they felt the woman is in a bad mood or was giving off "leave me alone vibes", and then they asked the women and most women did not even realize that they had this passive/subconscious barrier up that discourages men.
I have to say that the test isn't rigged. To be fair you have to ask thr same general questions. Age range is taken into account. Most men only look at the body as an initial draw. As a combat helicopter my standard is: not being an anti air missile, and if possible be on the army (I mean, civilians are good and all that, but I prefer to pick up some soldiers), also a thicc 747 or an a380, could be a perfect match, but because I'm humble, a simple cesna could also be a good match. In conclussion, if you aren't trying hijack me or shoot me down, i'll probably let you ride me ;)
Kinda a tough one for the obese part of it since obesity is typically measured by BMI which is inherently flawed since it doesn't account for the composition of someones body weight. Someone could be 5'7 and weigh 180lbs, with a body composition of mostly muscle and according to BMI they would be considered "overweight" even if their doctor has confirmed that they are 100% healthy. So this isn't really a perfect process of figuring out what percentage of the population is "dateable" by that metric alone.
I have a health issue that limits my movement, so i put on weight. the BMI is actually based off insurance in the 1920's i america i believe and over the years they "found" it was right. but it was based on a flawed set of figures
You're right, but how many short men who are a rippling mass of muscle have you met? They exist and yes the BMI doesn't work for them. But they're such a small proportion of the overall population, statistically they're non existent. The reality is if a woman has eliminated everyone under 6', the short muscle man isn't getting a look in anyway.
Love your videos Lydia, but I was honestly disappointed in the way you were defending the standards of the women overall. Yes, they should have included more beauty standards in the men's questions, but most men are willing to compromise and the test clearly shows that they have more realistic expectations.
Guys don't usually seem to care about much in women. If we get asked out by someone we most likely take the chance cos we ain't getting another one later
@dutchmccutch615 honestly man, I'm happy either way. If you are too, than thats all that matters. I remain open to the idea of a relationship, but I don't need one.
No, it's just you found them attractive from the start, but you deluded yourself in beliving that you where not for non sensical reason such as "money" or "maturity". Either that, or you deluded yourself into finding an unattrative guy attractive for non sense
Guys are less picky on average regardless of the questions. Women can decide whether they will date someone based on their horoscope sign. How dumb is that? The problem with women’s logic is that many of them have specific standard created in their head… they know the height, money, body build, eye color, character, horoscope sign, age… it’s often very specific what they want their significant other to be. As for the one who said 200k… it’s also not rare. There’s a similar video asking women about what they want their men to make and it ranged from 70K-400K. It’s all above average income. As a guy I can’t really give a description of my perfect partner, especially based on physical attributes. It’s a combination of things and i ended up dating someone I didn’t like in the first place. You get to know someone better and appreciate who they are… people are not books, don’t judge them by the cover
There is a good study which showed that 80% of of women have criteria that apply to only 20% of men, and men are around the opposite, but do skew for a girlfriend with kindness. It was from the lady who started Bumble.
Standards for women: must be 6ft tall, rich, huge like a horse, handsome, shaven, clean, fit, 6 pack, beard and hair of thor. Standards for men: women (optional), alive (optional).
I'll play Devil's Advocate... 23% is roughly one in 4 people meet her criteria. That is pretty down to earth. I mean sure, an "accepting" person might aim for over 50% but still you need some... standards to make a match work. "I'll date anyone" sounds nice, but it also is unlikely to create a lasting match. You will need to find something you like about them right? The questions... will never be completely fine you may be right that guys, especially "college kids" , would have different "key questions" but it is a "bit" fair to ask both genders the same/related questions. The women didn't need to care about height, or money, or whatever... the guys didn't really in this sample. They could ask a different set of questions, to both, to lean into your idea of men's requirements. But I feel is you asked about chest "specs" some ladies would want muscled and some men would like... other features.
It's actually hard to quantify things like personality or character on the street questions level. For this you need long and elaborate question sheets and/or several meetings. Some people are so good at hiding their real selves that it only get's out when worse comes to worst. Given the Type of video and the possibilities of street question those questions are the best they could do. Also their questions show one important thing: Both genders have a different view about materialistic (surface level) things (with money being the option reducer and the obsession with height is baffeling me every time). Idk why you would call these questions rigged. They give a very rudimentary insight into society without preying into the participants personal space. Also: What is the purpose for your defamation of this test? Why do you reject those questions?
Two simple facts: A man marries a woman hoping she'll never change - but she always does. A woman marries a man hoping he'll change - but he never does. How's that for unrealistic expectations?
Female delusion calculator and male delusion calculator. questions for female: age, minimum maximum Exclude married: yes/no race: white, asian, black, any. minimum height exclude obese yes/no minimum income Male questions: Age, minimum maximum Exclude married Exclude mothers race: white, asian, black, any minimum height Exclude overweight Exclude obese minimum income. These tests are based on american people but I think they started making some for other countries. The big thing: Median salary in US is 56k. Most rich men are old and/or married. 43% of men in the US are obese, and 41% of women are obese. 15% of men are 6ft or taller. Most young people that are earning 90k+, they are not out on the pubs/clubs. They are working. So to find the fit 24-28 year old, with 200k salary, that is single, over 6ft, that are partying. It just adds up to be very few people. When I did the male delusion calculator I got 7.94%.
About the questions to dudes... Well... Dudes do filter out on weight and height, as we saw even in the interviews... though most dudes' filters about height and weight (mine included) are just "below mine". Me personally, I also exclude obese... nowadays... but didn't once upon a time, back when I was still desperate enough. The acceptable age range for men is also often larger, though not just "any". When it comes to apperance features like breast size or butt size or whatever else... ok, people have preferences on that too, but they are usually preferences, not hard filters. Most guys (again, myself included), if they are single, would take a woman even if she is not meeting their appearance preferences, if only she passes the hard filters. But yes, income isn't a criteria for guys. Agree. Me personally... if she has ANY job, that's a win already. An unemployed woman is a red flag, but even a minimum wage working one is already good enough. I am not single right now, but I do wonder if that is asking for too much... Like, how lucky I am to currently have a woman that meets all of my hard filters... and a significant part of my appearance and character preferences too.
well, 23% is pretty much down to earth, it means you go into a small bar, a really small not very attractive bar with only 9 customers and you still would mate with 2 of them. That´s as down-to-earth as it gets. I would bet any amount if you walked into a bar with only 10 guests, you would not find any suitable mate even if you tried the experiment a hundred times.
What's not factored in; especially with the 0.2% woman, is that the percentage drops even more when you calculate how many men would also be into them. 🤔 *Man:* "Hi. I'm everything you're statistically looking for, but you're not what I'm into. Sorry." 😕 *Woman:* 😟
25%,1 person in 4 is already very high, considering alot of people are around 1 person in 10-15 In terms of preference of course, the majority dont end up exactly with their standards, so
Why do I feel like I want to protect this girl for some reason. It's like I want to protect her from the evils of the world. She triggers my fatherly instincts. I hope she doesn't lose her soul to digital media and CZcams.
I’m a big fella, obese, but I can “go for a walk around the block”, and do many other stuff. Sure, maybe some issues for running or doing some more sporty stuff, but guess most gals would give me a pass just based on first looks alone, leaving all else like personality, being a fun person, all those behind. And I have dated big and skinny girls before, but definitely it’s getting worse the situation as the years go by.
Man, I wish you well and luck. I am the type of a male that is a little more than slightly overweight. I used to be (10 to 15 years ago) the aerobic, lean-muscles-type-of-a-guy who’s jogging and exercising at least 2 hours a day - at the very least. Since then, for various reasons, but mainly an injury to my ankle, I gained way more than 50lbs. From time to time I have been challenged about my weight by passerby, friends or family. After a small time of self-loathing, I reminded myself of how much I liked to actively walk all my life, prior to that injury. So I got back at it : walking fast (and generally moving to a sweat). I didn’t loose a lot of weight in the 7 past years (not more than 20lbs); but only by leading an active life I could prevent myself from gaining more weight.
The people you see walking on the street expect this. This height, weight, and amount of money to earn before they date you. Chances are, they want someone to reflect where they are. Informative or rigged 📝🤓🧐
is it me or is lydia making soo much sense .. meaning logical !! we need more of this!!! omg im in love with . myself hahaha why are you sill reading this ;-). i got a smile on my face 2 ahhaha
Many women have this unrealistic list as long as there arms that will be almost impossible to meet. These women think far to much of themselves and are not actually looking for a loving partner but a human wallet that will fund there lifestyle that they feel entitled to!
6:30 They said "in your age bracket" so NO. Anyway, older people usually on average makes more than people in their 20's or 30's if you by old means 60-70 years olds who have not gone on pension.
As a guy, i'd say because of our experience in the dating world, there responses are actually legitimate, and so are the girls. It's ridiculous for us, guys right now.
I would like to point out how people are calling these standards when they're preferences. Chicks say they want a guy 6ft or taller and that's normal. But if a guy says he doesn't want a fat chick, it's body-shaming... Double standards? I need to find this app or whatever it is. I think the woman I would be interested in will likely not be very common in today's society. If I find the app or whatever it is, I'll share the results in an edit to this comment. Edit: I found it, but it only seems to be for women looking for men. So I found another one that allows you to select which you're looking for. However, it doesn't allow you to select annual income, height, or exclude fat people. Even despite those options not being available, 0.03% of the population fits my criteria. So it's likely a lot less than 0.03% because I do have preferences regarding those 3 metrics. Exclude fat chicks. Minimum income of $120k annually, no shorter than 5'4". Also, I have a body count metric too. I concluded a long time ago that I would likely be single for the rest of my life. I don't mind it at all. It's very peaceful and I have a ton of fun. I don't have a high body count. I don't want her money. She needs her own money if she wants to keep up with me. I have things to do and places to go. It's not uncommon for me to spend months in other countries or years in other states. Plus, if she's not financially literate, she is a liability that I view as not being worth the risk. As for the height preference... I'm over 6' tall... I kinda want to see what it's like to be with someone closer to my height, but that would likely just be a fling and frankly, I don't do that. I say it would likely be a fling because of the odds of finding someone I like who is also close to my height. There are many reasons why someone might be overweight, and I don't want to deal with any of them. I'm not broken and I'm not looking to fix anyone. Having a low body count lowers your chances of having an STD. You could still have an STD and not know it while still being as to pass it on. Having to contact everyone you've ever been with since you don't know who you got it from would be annoying. The majority of the population has an STD. Most don't even know it. Apparently, it's somewhere between 50 and 80 percent of the population. I'm not among them and I would like to keep it that way. Many women lie about their body count, but there are ways to tell if a woman has a high body count.
Really being a guy myself I can say that we really aren't that picky when it comes down to it and especially if alcohol is involved and we can keep anybody else from finding out.😂 There's really only a few key things and one specific thing we are looking for and it's all good if she got that. Everything else isn't that important.
5:21 "23% is not down to earth." Lydia. Your standards would be on par. And tbf, your could probably a demand a high price. Dating is economics. Sorry if that destroys the romance.......
no...she's not a paid troll...she's not a plant. I've seen MANY women do this "delusion calculator" and most of them have ridiculous standards. Sure, not all women by any stretch...but still most!
@@Mir_Man22 what data did I mention? I said I've seen a MANY women do this "delusion calculator"! Where have I seen this? On quite a few different podcasts
Ok the most shocking thing about this video is that you can braid your hair without even thinking about it. Amazing. Also, you could play the role of Mary Magdelene lol. (No Mary Magdelene was NOT a prostitute, bruh.)
There are actually two separate tests. One is for guys and one is for girls and they have different questions that get compared against the US census statistics. More importantly, did she take the test or no?
For the boobs question, personally if I can feel them in my hands that's big enough any more is just great until it gets to disproportionate amount, iw wouldn't want my significant other having such large boobs that is pains them, or keeps them from doing daily activitys, I've found almost every range of boobs attractive, except for the overly big ones that you know are from unnatural procedures
Nothing wrong with being picky - we all deserve the best we CAN get. Problem is, we don't deserve what we can't get, and if we actually DO manage to get it, there's always someone who DOES deserve it that can take it away from us, so NO CRYING.
"They're dropping off more than 70% of the population" - YUP, that's EXACTLY the point. Women have SERIOUSLY messed up requirements - and often aren't bringing much to the relationship to justify their requirements. And this is exactly why so many people are not finding mates... The height thing is also very much a USA thing - because we don't use metric, 6' is a "magic number" to women here. Same question in europe gives a very normal distribution because it's in cm, there's no "magic number".
It's based upon the US census and only includes those over 18, but these are pretty typical answers for both genders. Also it is actually just for women and not for women, so it is biased.
actually a bunch of women did say 200K on radio... not a setup troll. some girls are just gold diggers. many women does expect their spouse to make way more...and men don't really care much as long as the women are not asking them for money. Lydia ...why don't you go on street and ask the same? I probably won't ask your salary if I can date you. lol
I am 6'3", earn over 100k/year, am not overweight and have produced 5 healthy/strong/smart kids. My wife is lucky and she knows it. So glad I am not currently in college. I feel for young men that have to deal with these future cat moms.

Do such statistics even exist?
You're right, but how many short men who are a rippling mass of muscle have you met? They exist and yes the BMI doesn't work for them. But they're such a small proportion of the overall population, statistically they're non existent.
The reality is if a woman has eliminated everyone under 6', the short muscle man isn't getting a look in anyway.
Not really when the bmI index accounts for Muscle mass and fat content.
In fact the beauty standards women expect are much higher than men expecting.
Lol I'm 6'2", make over 75k a years, but have a dad bod (because I'm a dad) and haven't been on a date in 10 years! 😂

Haven't been on a date in 10 years myself.
I make about the same I'm 6ft. No kids just me and a cat that wandered up to the house a couple years ago.
@dutchmccutch615 honestly man, I'm happy either way. If you are too, than thats all that matters. I remain open to the idea of a relationship, but I don't need one.
If you think it's rigged then why don't you do one of these yourself?
She’ll just lie in every answer “to prove a point” 😂
I've had people I wouldn't normally find attractive become very attractive as I got to know them more, personality really can carry for some.
No, it's just you found them attractive from the start, but you deluded yourself in beliving that you where not for non sensical reason such as "money" or "maturity". Either that, or you deluded yourself into finding an unattrative guy attractive for non sense
Gets a dose of reality… “ITS RIGGED”

I'm searching for another joke in the inventory... Wait, there's another joke in the inventory right?...
Delusional is a hard one to determine, but I think it's pretty common knowledge women have higher standards for partners?
Two simple facts:
A man marries a woman hoping she'll never change - but she always does.
A woman marries a man hoping he'll change - but he never does.
How's that for unrealistic expectations?
CuuuuTEEE blanket Lydia! Where can I get one like that!???
Female delusion calculator and male delusion calculator.
questions for female:
age, minimum maximum
Exclude married: yes/no
race: white, asian, black, any.
minimum height
exclude obese yes/no
minimum income
Male questions:
Age, minimum maximum
Exclude married
Exclude mothers
race: white, asian, black, any
minimum height
Exclude overweight
Exclude obese
minimum income.
Well what’s about u Lydia what do you look in a guy 😂 but nice video ❤
Video: "... cuz you don't want to pick the next Ted Bundy."
Lydia: "Why not?!"
Me: Falls out of chair, laughing "He'd kill ya, that's why not!"
It’s also where they are polling you can’t get definitive answers
"blabla the test is rigged" guess who is delusionnal...
Women want resources and protection and men want youth and beauty.
I agree with Lydia that the questions lack nuance.
2.1% "I'm not lowering my standards, point blank period".
Soooooooooo, my cousin's cat just had a litter of 8, I'll get em' all set and ready for ya!
Congratulations on hitting 600k!
well, 23% is pretty much down to earth, it means you go into a small bar, a really small not very attractive bar with only 9 customers and you still would mate with 2 of them. That´s as down-to-earth as it gets. I would bet any amount if you walked into a bar with only 10 guests, you would not find any suitable mate even if you tried the experiment a hundred times.
Male.
Wants a woman who can accept him for who he IS,rather than his paycheck.
Woman."you're DELUSIONAL"
Women getting all this free attention online made them believe they have an infinite pool of choices that will last forever.
Arms crossed right away. She got mad.
What's not factored in; especially with the 0.2% woman, is that the percentage drops even more when you calculate how many men would also be into them. 🤔
*Man:* "Hi. I'm everything you're statistically looking for, but you're not what I'm into. Sorry." 😕
*Woman:* 😟
I find her reaction to the incomes very amusing as it was very average for USA... except the 200k girl
Most women wouldn’t recognize true love if it slapped them in the arse.
25%,1 person in 4 is already very high, considering alot of people are around 1 person in 10-15
In terms of preference of course, the majority dont end up exactly with their standards, so
See the way she held her blanket 😂😂😂😂
I know of this girl that walks around outside in socks. I think that's my only exclusion criteria.
Yes weird behavior is more of a problem than looks for sure.
LOL fair
Why do I feel like I want to protect this girl for some reason. It's like I want to protect her from the evils of the world. She triggers my fatherly instincts. I hope she doesn't lose her soul to digital media and CZcams.
She earns a living by parting lonely sinps from their $, soooo...
She triggers my fartbox tonguepunch instincts

Lydia would’ve been the perfect actress for the Snow White actress coming out. Thank God she’s not though, Disney ruins innocent beautiful girls
Feeling Lydiamately Violeted by watching all your videos.😂
If it was 50% you care way to little.
Me: "do you have a preference?"
Them: "I'll take anyone."🤪
Totally insane. 😂
That girl is probably not a paid troll but someone who doesn't know the worth of money
Obese is an actual medical term.
That necklace already won the game of life.
Many women have this unrealistic list as long as there arms that will be almost impossible to meet. These women think far to much of themselves and are not actually looking for a loving partner but a human wallet that will fund there lifestyle that they feel entitled to!
To be fair, blond hair blue eyes would be considered about top 10%.
We men are less delusional and don’t have a 1000 pages list to tick off
I’m curious which questions made the most difference
6:30 They said "in your age bracket" so NO. Anyway, older people usually on average makes more than people in their 20's or 30's if you by old means 60-70 years olds who have not gone on pension.

As a guy, i'd say because of our experience in the dating world, there responses are actually legitimate, and so are the girls. It's ridiculous for us, guys right now.
In us guys d m's If she's pretty chances are, she just wants your money 99% of the time. Which means not good luck for the average good guy😔☹️
In most women are nothing like you. I wish they were.
Hi lydia! Cant wait to watch another banger
If you don’t ask the same questions then it’s not fair
Its true, my ex-wife said she settled for me right before she assaulted me and during and after i forgave her for cheating on me
FYI, Ted Bundy was a serial killer 🤣
Really being a guy myself I can say that we really aren't that picky when it comes down to it and especially if alcohol is involved and we can keep anybody else from finding out.😂 There's really only a few key things and one specific thing we are looking for and it's all good if she got that. Everything else isn't that important.
Lydia is very refreshing. 😃😂
5:21 "23% is not down to earth."
Lydia.

Girls: Must be at least 6ft, have chiseled features, and over the top charismatic, but not too nice
Boys: *Must be alive* (Optional)
In this economy, it is important for how much they make
Nothing wrong with being picky - we all deserve the best we CAN get.
Problem is, we don't deserve what we can't get, and if we actually DO manage to get it, there's always someone who DOES deserve it that can take it away from us, so NO CRYING.
Wonderfully WHOLESOME awesome video!! Proud Lydiot!🤩😎😇🙏❤😍
Average US man at 20-35 is 35-37K, most US girls want 100-200K
Who could it be, women? We just don’t know, women?
It's based upon the US census and only includes those over 18, but these are pretty typical answers for both genders. Also it is actually just for women and not for women, so it is biased.
The percentage doubles if ur bi. Just take that 23%, that means 46% of men, 1 out of 2 not 1 out of 4
A piece of cake!!! OMG I fell over laughing. I knew I liked you. Especially in the kitchen ;) lol
we think being delusional is gay 🗿
actually a bunch of women did say 200K on radio... not a setup troll. some girls are just gold diggers. many women does expect their spouse to make way more...and men don't really care much as long as the women are not asking them for money. Lydia ...why don't you go on street and ask the same? I probably won't ask your salary if I can date you. lol
2:45 super lydia sound effects lol
LOL good takes Lydia
It’s obviously the interviewers asked all the men and women the same questions but Lydia hasn’t shown us all the questions
Excepting the person for who they are even tho there are some baggage just can't have high standards or else you'll be alone
