Fiji water hands down the best assassin in this show
That scene was so unnecessary, but Iâm glad it was in the film, especially the way the camerawork was on the water
That scene had me rolling
It had great character development
As I'm from Fiji it was really funny seeing that in the movie
â@@coreycasciano3255 wym unnecessary, you can't *not* show the most important character in the movie
I don't want a sequel to this, but I NEED a Lemon & Tangerine Prequel Spin-Off
oh I want a sequel, but I really NEED a prequel of Lemon and Tangerine
Need this
I want a movie with them on the boliva job or something
@@spritemon98 a story about them starting from childhood watching football like we saw in the film, going into the assassin job, we see them on a few missions, the climax is the Bolivian job, and it ends with them stepping onto the bullet train. that would be beautiful
@@theonlybigmorg dude yes!!!! That would be perfect!!!
For the cameo of Sandra bullock. You have to remember that Brad Pitt had a cameo in lost city. Which stars Sandra and Channing Tatum. Both of who cameo in this film. I think they just did a little fun cameos in those two movies.
They made a deal to be in each of their movies. Brad Pitt in hers (The Lost City) and Bullock in his (Bullet Train).
it was a F8king Audi advert. it was obviously filmed after the production "Nice car" Eeeeuuueeeeeeerrrrrr! i hate that. i was totally expecting him to say lucky you got world insurance at 2.5% or some shit
Donât forget Ryan renolds
@@michaelpolka7209 do you think Ryan Renolds got Zazie beetz her part? or the other way around?
Apparently Ryan Reynolds's cameo was a payback to Deadpool 2, as Brad Pitt had a 2 second cameo
This movie has amazing dialogue and you can tell everyone involved, had fun making it!
100% the comedy was surprisingly really good
I just watched the movie...I really hope you are sarcastic.
Just saw it a few hours ago. It really felt like a movie out of time, as you don't really see fresh action/comedy flicks nowadays as the cinema is dominated by Disney products. Excluding that, the movie itself was really enjoyable for a goofy action movie. The characters felt really unique from one another while all being genuinely likable, I really felt like the "twins" stole the show. It also got a fair few hearty laughs out of me.. Also, keep an eye out for some of the smaller details as the film does a great job calling back to them!
WDYM? Every movie is action/comedy nowadays. I actually want more serious movies than every fuckin protagonist be a Tony Stark.
Great film indeed. Love the callbacks and how everything happens for a reason(fate) connections. Wasnât a stupid dumb action flick it actually had a great plot line for me personally. Iâd even watch it again one day. đđŒ

I'm literally watched this movie yesterday and man it was amazing, miles better than the new Thor. Yes it was very confusing at first but with every reveal the better it got, like a reverse snowball effect where everything just unravels along with the characters (who were the best part of the movie) The comedy managed to take some laughs out of me. Don't have too much to say about action as long it keeps me entertained, as it did.
Just the final "lesson" in the end about fate n stuff is didn't got to me so much. Basically a comedy action movie. Overall? Amazing, would watch again.

Easily the best movie I've seen this year. It was quirky, had fun action, and a ridiculous plot that actually managed to work and tie all the separate story lines together.
Watch Everything Everywhere All at Once and you'll prefer that over Bullet Train
@@JustLostTheGame Not at all. I didn't like that but loved Bullet Train
@@0owmjapo0 Damn I'm not even the type to gatekeep shit but judging by your pfp I can say that movies like EEAO may just be too fun and deep for you, you're better off watching like any Tarantino movie instead of Bullet Train lmao
â@@JustLostTheGame What's wrong with my profile picture? It's just a chick listening to music haha. I found some of the characters really annoying in EEAO. And the whole thing seemed too silly. Like a girl was pissed her mother wouldn't accept her sexuality so she went and tried to take over everything? Damn, chill. If I'm remembering that right? I'm also not really into the whole multiverse thing. I don't like Marvel super hero movies etc. I guess I prefer crime type stuff. I really enjoyed the comedy in Bullet Train and the action was great. We're all different I guess.
@@0owmjapo0 We don't have to delve into an entire conversation about the movie, but I think it's more about not accepting her in general, which includes her sexuality. I don't like Marvel either, which is why I'm surprised you likes Bullet Train just as much, similar horrible dialogue and formulaic plot. Have you seen Bad Times at the El Royale? I think you'd really enjoy that, extremely underrated movie, and yes, IMO, way better than Bullet Train lmao

My daughter and I went to a special screening Tuesday night and both of us liked it a lot. It was a little weird in the first act but when it wraps back around to when Bad Bunny is getting on the train and he sees Brad Pitt (after Bad Bunny's character's origin story), it starts to feel like a bunch of things begin falling into place. Also liked how different all of the characters are to each other. On a side note ... don't get up and leave the theater right away because there is a scene that rolls about a minute into the credits and you will definitely want to see it.
Yes the bad bunny scene was cool but the film isn't as smart as it thinks I saw that coming from a mile away that they were gonna show his side
I was just watching a video about the movie Prey and didnât realize the video had ended and that it automatically switched this video. So I was reading your comment and going âwhat in the fuck is this dude talking about?â
Thatâs how most action movies are , slow start to set up every character and then when they mayhem happens you are most invested on whatâs going on
No thanks. Garbage movie. Can't wait till i spoil this movie for everyone.
@@TheREALHugo4 cool no one cares
The Guy Ritchie comparison is exactly what I thought, which is appropriate since Brad Pitt was also in Snatch, and this is basically Snatch meets Deadpool.
Also, a bit of a [SPOILER]...
Ryan Reynolds shows up for literally 1 second, a reference to how Brad Pitt showed up for literally 1 second in Deadpool 2, which was also directed by David Leitch.
For Rotten Tomatoes, audience score is pretty good at 83%. It's at 7.5 on IMDB. NEVER TRUST CRITIC SCORE ON ROTTEN TOMATOES.

Haven't seen it yet but I love just stupid over the top action movies. One of my favorites is Shoot em Up. Need more movies that are just fun. Looking forward to it!
You are going to love it đ
It's actually not that stupid, and does quite a lot of smart things while still being hella fun. It's probably the first movie I've seen in recent memory that utilizes an old Hitchcock technique to perfection. You'll know it when you see it.
Yeah my favorite action directors are James Cameron, Roland Emmerich, Christopher Nolan, Guillermo del Toro and of course the greatest of all action no substance Michael Bay.

If thats what your looking for i reccomend rrr its free on Netflix in Hindi tho, still it was a turn off your brain action most of the way through
I really enjoyed the film. Amazing cast, great performance from Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Everyone looks like they are had fun making a silly, funny, action romp. Watch it with someone who is not afraid to laugh out loud in a cinema
I LOVED this film, entertrained from start to finish. What really impressed me was that despite all the international action the film had a very japanese core (family, honour, fate)

Iâve watched it twice now, I thoroughly, THOROUGHLY enjoyed this movie definitely going to be a day one blu ray purchase for me.
The director is David Leitch who worked as a stuntman and stunt coordinator on many movies before starting to co-direct movies like Dead Pool and John Wick (on which he wasn't directly credited) then he directs Atomic Blonde, Dead Pool 2 and Fast & Furious Hobbs & Shaw, so he isn't a nobody, he has quite the pedigree with stylish action movies.
This was basically a Quentin Tarantino film without Quentin. I didn't like the beginning, but as the movie went on, I liked it. A LOT! Overall, I give it a B+...
Imagine if they create a western version of Gintama, these cast and crew can actually catch the essence of the manga and anime.

I kind of describe it as John Wick if it were The Dude from The Big Lebowski were an assassin.
I watched Bullet Train yesterday and had a great time. I didnât go in with high expectations; I just wanted to be entertained because Nope and Thor: Love & Thunder didnât live up to my expectations. Bullet Train was fun and intriguing, even though I agree with Alex that the reveal of âeverything was part of the planâ was groan-inducing. Brad Pitt was clearly having a lot of fun and all of the actors were great⊠except for Michael Shannon, who was miscast in this movie.
The only thing that bothered me was how oblivious the other passengers were on the train, except for that annoying Karen! Especially the snack cart lady who interrupted Ladybug and Tangerine in the stock room. They had had broken some of the snack cabinets and Ladybug was bleeding from a cut on his face; she shouldâve been suspicious of what was going on. Perhaps the joke is that Japanese train attendants are trained to be overly polite or something? I also recognized her as the actress from The Boys so I suspected she was another assassin-in-disguise, but that seemed to be a red herring. Although it wouldâve been clever if it was a double bluff, which was revealed in a mid-/post-credits scene and setup a sequel.
Overall, Bullet Train was a great mix of action, comedy, witty dialogue, intriguing backstory, and stylish editing throughout the film, and it was dialled up to 11 at the end for satisfying climax. Iâm definitely up for a sequel to Bullet Train!
I totally thought the attendant was going to be The Hornet as she appears multiple times throughout the film, and even in the marketing. Also, after a character was poisoned, I thought she would be a prime suspect by giving them a bottle of water laced with said poison.. I was pretty surprised to see her play such a throwaway role. Same goes with the actor who played Hiro in Heroes.
@@theocan Iâm certain those two were deliberate casting choices as red herrings.

Loved this movie and that it had that action comedy feel of the 90s with modern day filmmaking. I wish Brad did more Action Comedies because he's cool and funny. The Twins i think stole the show, Brian and Aaron are awesome and have great chemistry. Just a fun time and hope more action comedies are more like this and not like the other modern junky action flicks like The Predator.
honestly, i dont understand why reviewers need to act so smart and say things like "no need to watch it in the theatre" or "yeah it was good but has definitely issues" - no shit sherlock. Bullet train was fun and its ok to say it. With cinemas currently dominated by comic books and woke trash it was refreshing to watch an actual movie and its ok to support movies like this. Fuck me man.
"Bullet-train" is "Snatch" or "The Gentlemen" stretched to a road runner cartoon
There is no plot, just a series of ex-machinas that tie all the characters together.
Some of the framing and camera work is decent. Solid acting but not much to work with.
A fun movie for a sunday afternoon. But little else.

Now I want to go watch it again.
Waterbottle is the best character and their backstory was great.

I just came back from the theater. I walked in "blind", only thing I checked before was the rating on a Polish version of imdb which was 7.1/10 and a few sentences out of the description. the bullet train movie was great but the one downside was that it really wants you to know that all the details are connected so it shows the same scene like 5 times sometimes or it does that family guy thing where someone is like "remember that one time" then it shows that one time for like a 3 minute scene

My only complaint is that it feels a little long. This movie is funny. It is based on a book. I'm reading the book and I like it too.

How did we miss the cameo of Kimiko as the crew member of the train!

A movie set in a bullet train that felt more like a rollercoaster.
Every little moment from the extremely emotional moment of Tangerine's return to the train and the old spiteful rivalry, to the introduction of the water bottle's character and the surprise Ryan Reynolds cameo fuckin blew me away.
I gotta say this about Bulllet Train. If Netflix wants to do live action Anime justice they should early look to this movie. This movie was the best interpretation of what a live action anime should LOOK LIKE. The editing and action scenes genuinely felt as if I was watching a Cowboy Bepop episode. Now Im not saying the story was perfect. Infact this was a really awkward movie in terms of story telling. But strictly in terms of visuals an pacing this nails the Anime "vibe"
Howâs no one mentioned that Channing Tatum was in it??đ
This is what happens when you have stunt men as directors. You get Insane well choreographed action. You don't expect some 10 book lore films. You get what you pay for and this director is coming as advertised

Oh I know that sequence
I know I'm a little late, but after just seeing this review I think you guys missed a critical concept of the film in the opening crawl. This is a movie discussing fate vs luck. Brad pitt thinks he is enormously unlucky, but every turn, his fight style, everything shows he is fated to keep living. He has a similar power to domino (also in deadpool 2 by the same director, dominos actor also in this movie).
Also, missed talking about the cameo from Channing Tatum and Hiro from the Heroes TV show (forgot actors name)
I had a very low bar for this movie coming in and I was seriously surprised for how good and deep it was. I really liked the concept of Fate that really was integrated into how the film plays out. How everything that happens is fate one way or another. Brilliant to me. I may even catch hate for it but it is one of the better movies Iâve seen out of the year. Solid 8/10 great performances and action. As well as great character introductions and story.
Yea the fate integration was really good, especially how Brad Pitts character portrays bad luck đ
Dont know if you guys talked about the other cameo in the first edit or not but you did leave out the Channing Tatum cameo on the train as well, just fyi.
Angry Joe, I've been subbed to you since your fabled reviews, I just found that one of my 3 accounts was unsubscribed to you. Watch out man, scary stuff.
Edit: I watch daily as well so I can confirm I was subscribed yesterday
Maybe it's because you have three accounts and CZcams figured that particular one was a scam or spam account.
I was in love with the movie when I finished it. Looked it up on Google and saw Rotten Tomatoes didn't like it. I was so confused! How?
The only thing that annoyed me about the film is, when the train crashed it was going a lot slower than it was on impact. 30mph cannot go that far. Even down a hill with trees and into the town.
Yaa me too. It was just too far fetched. And the train destroying lots of innocent people homes, it just felt like that didnât belong there. Otherwise, it was a great entertaining movie.
I loved this movie, the music, the writing, the actors, even the visuals, was trying to be a fun flick but for me is more than this XD
Advertising for this movie was weak. I only saw it bc I was looking for something on date night and I had the faintest memory of this movie. Casting of bad bunny and brad pit was just enough for me to give it a try. I loved it, too many reboots and franchise movies these days that this felt fresh. Plus I really like how brad Pitts last line questions perspective on if good or bad luck is a mindset. âIs it a bad thingâ since the girl thought she was lucky the whole time while brad Pitt thought he was bad luck but ended up on top, plus details like the twins arguing about how important bullet proof vest are in the very beginning ends up being a big deal and ties in to the whole luck/fate idea. It was fun with a good underlining question.
I had no idea about this movie but so glad I decided to see it last minute after seeing it outside the theater.
I watched this movie today not the best but I definitely enjoyed it. I noticed that the son of the Elder was the guy that came out in G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Origin I believe.
