The AI deleted your settler for cheesing the trade mechanics. Civ giveth and Civ taketh away.
Kupe settling his capital on the worst possible tile, off of the river, and then accusing you of "polluting the land with your filth."

This is why I always try to remove Kupe from the civ list when starting a new game. The AI just plays him stupidly.
Saaame. Dude just sends his settlers out randomly into the worst possible locations. Either on frozen nowhere island or *right next to you*
Settler cost doesn't increase exponentially. It's just 30 production more for each subsequent one. For builders, 4 gets added
Yeah exponentially wasn't necessarily the correct word, but just more expensive with each settler.
37:44 I say get it ASAP too. Especially if you are using Autocracy in the same city you have the Gov Plaza. But Diplo Quarter should really be built by the time Monarchy comes around so that the +2-3 influence points granted by the Consulate and Chancery, respectively, can benefit from the 50% influence granted by Monarchy. It is such a strong combination but not really talked about often.

Speaking of how silly civ 6 has become, you should do a video of going back and playing release version of civ. I think it was much harder back in the days, with there being less stuff for a human to abuse an AI with.

I was playing civ expanded and encountered a different exploit as pericles, in civ expanded pericles gets 5% gold from city states he's suzerain of, and this affects deals. AI is usually willing to trade gold for 21.2 to 30 gold per turn, both ways, which means that the modifier could be 1% and the exploit would be possible(I initially thought the ai would charge more for the opposite trade, but no. This means, as soon as you get a city state, you can start duplicating money, albeit very slowly because 5% modifiers on an income of 10 isn't much.
time to exploit this as hard as possible

alternatively give the ai loans at extremely high interest. give them 1000 gold, get back 50 a turn for 30 turns. I do not see how this is flawed and can be exploited at all

I'm a little confused about your planned city west of the capitol in the middle of the tundra instead of on the coast. Hoping you explain it next episode!
It's mostly there just to fit more national parks in my land!!! If I just settled the coasts the area where the aforementioned city is located are all like 3-4 tiles away from cities, making it difficult to plan national parks~

I did not know that National Park trick for Ha-Long Bay. I've always wished you could do that with any Coast tile and National Parks though. There's so many wonderful coastal parks in the USA, both national and state. I also wish NPs could be placed as flat (on their side) diamonds. Seems silly to try and conserve micro-management with Naturalists, when every other process in the game is a slow plodding 1 tile at a time clickfest. Make up your mind Firaxis, jeez.

i'm not sure what you mean by highlight, do you mean when it is briefly shown as purple underneath colosseum for a second a couple times? that's actually from Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments, and it's showing where the next tile the City is going to grow to when i hover over it

The games exploits user back. In my game I had a neighbor civ, which succumbed to my glorious culture and their people revolted. So civ "was defeated". But before it was defeated (countdown to revolt timer is displayed on city's banner) I sold them a luxury resource. I though: in a turn I'll have my resource back but keep lump sum of gold I received for it. Nope. Even though civilization doesn't exist, the game says I still have a deal with it and therefore I don't have that resource 😏

Wait....what? Doesn't AI get a "!" Next to iron if you try to buy it off them and refuses to sell it to you? How do you bypass that for this exploit?
He was still willing to sell it back, the exploit still doesn't get around that it just that they were willing to sell it back at a cheaper price because don't value it as high. Sometimes that does happen though when attempting to do this, the AI will refuse to sell it back to you.
currently watching you place pins for the colisseum at minute 4:50ish, and man, if you put the colisseum tile on the top-right tile of the entertainment complex, then you can get 2 +5 theathre squares

my very first diety win was with the Cree using what I like to call the "Colosseum Hex". Nestling two theater squares in the entertainment complex and Colosseum makes a high culture triangle, and one more wonder lets you fit two more theater squares AND gives them district adjacency. That amount of culture won me the game.
The bug (and a lot more) are still there because firaxis doesn't give a s**t.
devs get paid to produce new content that get sold to earn the company money.
Fixing bugs for free doesn't earn the company money.
End of story.
To be fair, it's not firaxis. The exploit is in the quick deals mod. The blame lies with the developer of the mod.

The quick deals mod has been broken from the start. I love the mod because it makes trading a lot easier, but with quick deals, the AI offers way more than it would in a manual deal. So it's basically just exploiting the mod,. which was already broken.
not true. you can get the exact same deals manualy. mod does nothing but save time
It actually has nothing to do with the mod, you can do this manually without quick deals. This exploit was actually found before Quick Deals existed. Additionally the mod doesn't make the AI offer more, it shows the highest value for what the AI would pay which you could find in the manual trade screens.

SO I tested it and it does include amenities built after you build it, including if you swap tile improvements between cities~

@@danwa586 sometimes the AI just doesn't trade, it happens. I made a short on how to do it without the Trade UI, maybe that helps!!

I'm sorry but ppl who complain about exploits making deity easier are just bad lol. If you are decent at this game and you survive past the turn 40 Deity AI warrior rush, odds are you will win the game. The AI is actually that bad so it is not like it is some monumental task to win to begin with. *Shrugs*

Excuse me, this is not the intended way to play and you're making diety easier and there's actually no point in watching you if you're going to do this because you're just making a really dumb exploit and it's not fun for the game.
