I do love, how you have managed to have the main trio driving this channel. However supported by a strong array of very recognizable secondary characters with whom you also build a connection. I really really enjoy the channel, partly because of the sheer chemistry between you three plus the people you being in like Tom. But then Alex surpasses himself doing stuff like this! Finally.... some more people appreciating an X351. I've had mine for 5 years, 80k miles ULTRA RELAIBLE and I love the thing. Its worth 7k now at best, there is nothing I could get any better for £7k. I'm going to keep it until it dies, and I hope that's not any time soon...

I have very fond memories of the caviar red X351 with tan interior we had. It was equipped with the controversial biturbo 3.0 V6 Diesel (PSA-Ford engine).
This XJ was such a hoot to drive, a set of rear wheels lasted about a year. (Including a change to winter tires...)
With massive amounts of torque (700Nm) low down in the rev range the rear really liked to step out when accelerating from crossroads.
It was still incredibly economical while riding in sublime comfort!
Crossing Germany with one tank of fuel while doing >200km/h (120mph) on the Autobahn whereever possible was quite something!
The Jaaag was the perfect long distance cruiser but also capable of blasting along stable & safely with 250km/h if neccessary.
People always forget that shape XJ, always had a soft spot for them. Made me smile.
Aside from gears and gasoline, throttle house, and the straight pipes, Auto Alex is also one of those CZcams car channels that is actually interesting to watch. It’s great to see these CZcamsrs doing what they love instead of clout chasing 👌
Genuinely the first car I’d buy if I won the lottery. I love those XJs, they were a step away from the XJ we had all grown to love but it was a step in the right direction! XJL with the V8 is definitely the car of my dreams
Now that’s how you treat your friends and people who you really value. Love this Alex, and it’s good now your in a position to treat Rory that you have as certain other urmmm “companies” I believe have and would never treat your guys like this so well done. I've had my jag xjl x351 for nearly 2 years and I love it, she never gets old I love the comfort and the blinds are perfect for when I'm running family members around
I've loved an XJ ever since that scene in Skyfsll. M gets chucked into the back of hers, but Bond is behind the wheel and takes off before her aid gets into the car. He takes a sharp corner and smashes off the kerb and disappears up the street at speed. Epic.

I recently listen to the “road to success” podcast with Alex, there was a question asked about why Alex thinks it’s been so successful.. before he answered I was saying to myself “Fun, Relatable content, where I feel like I’m just watching friends themselves”..
This just highlights my thoughts and feeling towards this Channel.

I’ve had a x351 for 6 years. Bought it when I was age 34, I was told it was an old man car. It’s a great car, stands out vs the German badges based on looks and rarity, performance is fast enough and comfy for long journeys. Rory I hope you love it.

My grandpas got an xj like this. They drive incredibly and you don’t even feel it change gear. The quality is amazing , also the twin turbo diesel is pretty pokey . Rory’s finally got a “nice car “. 😂

Had a 2009 Jaguar XF Premium Luxury. Same styling to an extent and the XJ / XF are epic cars.
