Such quality product and video Mike! Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you Erik.
Very nice work Mike!
One of the things I like about your videos is how you explain things, whether it's about a tool, a specific piece of hardware, or the decision process you go through. Those are gems that I look for in each video. Also that you link them in your description. Call it lazy, which it is, but that detail makes me go look at those sites when I see something I like and I appreciate your doing it. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
Thank you Justin.
Incredible work Mike. Thank you so much for taking the time to walk us through it. Your advice on spray finish is INVALUABLE!!!!
Thank you. Its great to hear the spray info is helpful!
You know it cannot be a bad day when the bell rings and Mr. Farrington delivers a new video. Really high standards as always, you cannot go wrong with Mike.
I also have to say thank you, because you taught me a lot. I'm half way from completing my first alcove unit and I would have never been able to do so without you!
Best!
Wow, thats way cool to hear. I'm happy to hear my videos have helped. You've made my day.
You're one of the few professional carpenters I could find on CZcams. Flawless!
Thank you.
quality work again Mike!! great to see this level in an environment filled with amateurs bragging about how they don't know what they are doing!
Ha! I actually laughed out loud as I read this. Thank you.
What makes your video so worthwhile is that I always learn something new and gain insights into new tools...a lipping planer!...After a few different guns, a new compressor and lots of practice I am finally comfortable spraying nitrocellulose lacquer..Yes, it's a vertical learning curve. Another variable with spraying is the weather-humidity wreaks havoc when spraying nitro...so much to learn...so much fun! Thanks!!!
Thank you. Spray finishing is a great skill to develop.
Glad to see you showing us that new router table. Thanks!
Thank you. So far its working great.
I watch many woodworking videos and yours are in my opinion the best. Good blend of technique, speed, narration and overall length.
Thank you Jason. Thats good to hear, when filming and editing, its really hard to know if I'm on the right track, it just feels like I'm guessing. A little positive feedback keeps me making the best videos I can.
Your attention to detail is sublime Mike, you've given me some well needed inspiration 👍🏻
Thank you Andy, thats great to hear.
Mike, your projects just get better and better. Agree, attention to detail is crucial, yours is superb.
Nice Ace Cafe tee shirt.
Thank you very much Barney. I have had the pleasure of visiting the Ace. Being a Moto guy, it was a great place to visit and enjoy a pint.
A true artist. Your attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship in both your projects and videos shows through. You're the Matt D'Avella of woodworking and I can't wait to see what you put out next. Keep up the good work.
Thank you very much.
Wow your work is off the charts as always you motivate me a lot. I've been doing woodworking for about 3 years.
Thank you very much.
Outstanding! Always enjoy the finished project. As always amazing work Mike.
Thank you Jason.

priceless! guys like you are dream in my book! i love renovating and DIY projects. i wish i have someone like you in my team!
Wow, thanks!
Your work and video production are inspiring. Thanks for making me (and many others) a better craftsman. And you like cool music!
Thank you very much Chris. Craftsmanship and music. These are two of my favorite things.
I appreciate the way you use MDF as a material. About 20 years ago I constructed a 16 foot work bench so that I could build a Murphy Rebel aircraft.
A few people thought it wouldn't stand up. I preferred it over plywood because it was heavy and very flat. My workshop floor was terribly uneven, but a few shims here and there and it was perfectly level. I didn't paint it or coat it in any way to protect it, thinking it would be disassembled when the project was complete. When the main components of the aircraft were done, a friend of mine asked me if he could have half the table. He wanted to build another aircraft and already had an eight foot bench. He wound up building two planes. The half bench I had remaining is still in my shop. It's a little worse for wear today, but if I had properly protected it the way you do, it would be just fine. I've subscribed to your channel and enjoy your little apprentice. My little apprentice is now a father himself and has already built two houses. Cheers to you and your family.
That really sounds like a beast of a work bench. I like it! Thank you for sharing. MDF is a good product when used correctly.
Very helpful hint on the finishing technique. Looks great thanks.

Thank you very much.
Liked it before I even watched it! Beautiful work.
Thank you, thats very kind.
Dang...great guide and details. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much. My pleasure.
Love your work! A tip that my father-in-law gave me might be useful. In lieu of your very nice & expensive clamp collection to space the surface & laminate material, he kept a section of PVC pipe with aluminum shade blind slats. He'd apply the glue, let it tack up, then lay the slats on top. Next went the laminate, likewise with tacked glue, then he'd pull slats out & roll the material together with a J-roller. Would help keep your shiny clamps from occasionally getting laminate cement boogers all over them.
Thank you, great tip. I normally have a bunch of dowel rods on hand. I had used them for another project recently. The PVC is a really good idea because it will resist the glue pretty good.
Gracias por enseñarnos a hacer muebles como los tuyos. No me pierdo ningún vídeo tuyo. Felicidades y saludos desde España
Thank you very much. I will have another video out soon!
Awesome project and video as always
Thank you Kevin.
what a great video and what a great finished product.
Thank you.
Great one!
Thank you.
When I started painting cabinets the first one looked like a melting candle (terrible!) as you mention it takes a little practice a the proper mixture (paint and gun setup) to get a nice result
Totally agree. Experimentation is key, trying different settings is the way to find the one that works for you setup.
You the man Mike!!👍👍👍👍

Thank you Robert.
Your videos always make my day. Walking away like a true bada** after giving the pro tip at 7:54
Ha! Thank you.
Patrick, that was good, although I loved the robot walk at 9:48 a little bit more!
@@jeffbabski Ha! I always dance or do little weird moves while working, I do it just to wake up and keep the blood flowing.
I've been using biscuits for drawers also, I think it's a good way to go at times.
When the height of the drawer is such that you can get two biscuits or more, its a great way to make drawer boxes.
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
My wife and I were blown by the cuteness of the shop apprentice. And we approve him for approving this video 😊
Greetings from Croatia
Thank you. He is my little bundle of joy. I hope to travel to Croatia one day.
@@MikeFarrington You should definitely visit Croatia. I may be biased but it's absolutely beautiful :)
Once my kids get a little older I'd like to do some traveling, Croatia is on the list.
@@MikeFarrington That's awesome. If you travel somewhere around here I'd love to show you my shop and get a beer. I live in a place by the sea called Fazana (population ~2500).
