- The Drive Sportrider,
You can be forgiven for thinking I would believe that 'Wood-E' is the best thing in the world of scooters. But it is not so, there are a number of scooters that I admire for the quality of build and capability. Many thanks to my friend Carl for allowing us to show just how good and versatile a Sportrider actually is both in town centres and out in mud of the the countryside. Joe.
Carl's scooter is 7 years old has done 12500 miles has broken down only once (electrical switch fault) truly a testament to the construction quality of this scooter.

Kia ora from cold winter New Zealand.I too have a sportsrider but not as many miles as the video and yes very comfortable very powerfull and stable. And seen as its wet and cold staying inside.Enjoy
i was in at keswick market a few years ago and a bloke was driving the biggest motorised scooter round it i've ever seen, looked like a volkswagen lol. I love to have a nosy at them and who wouldn't want to have a go on one - keep riding !!
I recently got veleco zt15. It's a bit hair raising until you're used to it but it gets me around okay and haven't tipped it on uneven ground yet. If I had the money it'd be great to go for something like this instead
Does your scooter have any security features built-in when you first got it? I have a Pride Colt Executive and there wasn't anything on it that could stop anyone stealing it. There are a few things on it now, like a motorcycle clutch lock on the tiller and a £50 motorcycle security chain & padlock. That should slow them down a touch. Michael.
I think you have it well covered EBD. Sadly security is a big issue, regards Joe
Great video Joe. Say hi to Carl 👋 does he have a name for his scooter?
A lovely woodland adventure guys, was a bit of a squeeze between those stone posts 😱
I will ask him Max, the Mill Farm Park Cannock is very good, regards Joe.
Hey, Joe. (no pun intended) Great vid..where did you get that front leather storage pouch?
It was the wife's Bob, I put the studs in, she was furious. Regards Joe.
@@joeturner4woode Thanx for the reply, Joe. I have a Kymco Maxi XLS and the front basket looks like it should be on a push bike!
Great video... You got a new Mobility Scooter user Subscriber 👍
I also video my Scooter travels 👍
Many thanks I have returned the sub and seen your adventure around Yarm, great .. regards Joe
It looks a great area for mobility scooters. Where is it please ?
This is Hawkes green, Cannock Irene, although the park area is known as Mill Farm Park, Cannock. Regards Joe.
Which batteries does it have on board? How many amps do the batteries have? that he can drive that far?
I think there is two 12v 75amp batteries, good for a possible 30 ish miles at best.
@@joeturner4woode OK, where I live there are a lot of inclines to overcome, so there are no major tours possible, even though I have a 200 AH AGM battery on board, but I'm happy to have such a mobile device. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to get away. I'm not allowed to use public transport And I don't have any assistance, I rely on what my mobile phone provides me, I don't feel like waiting for others to help me, I don't like it and I'm fine with it.
Having a little freedom is great, I also don't like relying on others, regards Joe
