- Had to make this video. Davy Jones was my first crush! So sad about the passing of this amazing man. Rest In Peace Davy. You will truely be missed by many. Sorry for not being able to read the ending. I didn't realize it until I uploaded the video. The ending says this ... 'I don't want to be remembered as a Monkee or as the Artful Dodger or as an actor or as a singer or as a songwriter. I want to be remembered by each person differently. They all have something they can tell about and things we've been intimate over whether it be conversation or whether it be a kiss. I want to retire unknown and anonymous and just fade away. I want to be on a cruise ship or something and when I know it I'll be overboard before anybody knows and be eaten by a whale. I'll be back somewhere on some beach somewhere. When my kids go to the ocean I want them to know I'm there. So that would be kind of a romantic (legacy) in my way.
Never heard this version of this song. The tears won't stop. Miss Davy so much :-(

it was great and how so true that his ashes was spread from the beach in Flordia and from England ,but he will never fade away to many people love him for being just a wonderful and careing person.People like that should never be forgotten never.

Aww... this tribute just turn to one of my favorites. I always love Davy he was an amazing person with a beautiful soul. He spread joy to my heart and I'll never ever forget him. He was more than an idol to me, he brought light to my life in a time were all I could see was darkness. His death still hurts my soul and I really think he brought so much happiness to the world. this video just made me cry again for having lost a great man. Thanks for sharing such a sweet and beautiful video.

I just read a bit ago, someone was taking each of Davy's solo albums & CDs' and telling what he thought about the songs on all of them. He hardly had one good thing to say about the songs or Davy's singing. Being a HUGE FAN of Davy's it was quiet hurtful, they said some mean things. I was taught if you can't say something. nice just don't say anything. Any one agree?
I'm still sad when I hear these songs that Davy did (I'm male but not gay!) Shame I wasn't able to go to Plymouth last year (due to illness)-I'd bought my Meet & Greet ticket for Plymouth-in the front row-and paid for all my traveling! So obviously won't another chance to meet him! I don't think we've been told the full truth re the circumstances surrounding Davy's death and we'll probably never be told! I shouldn't say this,but I think that Davy made a mistake by marrying his last wife!Sorry!
Andy Pandy Davy’s father also died of a heart attack. Probably was genetics.
