- North of England - An annihilator was an elimination-style competition with six robots competing. In the first round, all six robots would fight each other until one of them was eliminated. In the following rounds, the remaining robots would be given time for repairs and do battle again. The process continued until only two robots remained, with the subsequent winner becoming the annihilator champion.

Gosh, I can Remember taping this episode & I was Crying my eyes out When Chaos 2 (the Odds-On Favourite to Win) was KO'ed in the 1st Round after a 5 Minute Slob-a-knocker!

I really didn't expect Spikasaurus to come out victorious from this Annihilator. After Chaos 2 was knocked out, I expected Dominator 2 to breeze into the victory and that Spikasaurus would fall before the final. As it is, Dominator 2 worked with Spikasaurus all through this annihilator almost as a team, only for Spikasaurus to somehow come out with the victory at the end! It was Dominator's final to lose, and that they did! An unfortunate sudden loss of power to Dominator 2 meant that Spikasaurus, who until then had done actually very little except to maybe Suicidal Tendencies, somehow won the annihilator.

Great action, but a very disappointing final result with Spikasaurus winning despite it being no match for Dominator 2 in battle whatsoever and having nothing to do with the latter’s immobility. I’m not saying I would’ve reversed the decision or anything when it was fair, and that’s just the way bad luck strikes sometimes, but it’s always frustrating to watch a robot win because of nothing but sheer dumb luck. And this time the lesser robot got a trophy as a result.
A great moment for the Spikasaurus team, but I wouldn’t feel like a truly deserving winner if I was among them.
Hot take, I love this Annihilator more than the Southern Annihilator.
