I would love to see some of the battlebot robots in a robot wars arena or a mixed arena melee. LOVE tombstone but I am sure he'd end up in the pit... control issues
Series 4 did see FrenZy and Rammstein compete in a special. Son Of Whyachi also applied for Extreme Warriors but wasn't allowed due to the producers not wanting robots from other shows 🤷

WOW... how ridiculous the introduction from this host ! Times have changed a bit, thankfully.
The worst : drawing lines between robots being solid and muscles, like the activity would be a proof of masculinity, or a male monopole.
Today, for the better and the growth of it, we can see lots of women getitng involved in this field... engineers, pilots, designers, production managers, CAD creators. There is nothing out of reach for them, and those girls rock by doing it their own way. Ultimately proving how efficient and hard-working they are : anybody heard about Witch Doctor (and many more) ?
So, no... things were NOT always better back in the day.
