- I am going to show you how to install a set of Ksport coilovers on a G35X. First impressions and thoughts of this ksport product. Over all, its an easy install at most and it should only take you a couple of hours to do. For the money I would recommend them because there aren't very many options for the G35X awd. Also the Ksport is a true coilover and will allow you to run tow arms which you will need if you plan on going really low. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Again thank you for watching and like and sub if you enjoy this video and want to see more!

Looks great. Sitting like the coupes!
Thank you🙏🙏🙏
It’s clean 👌
🙏🙏🙏
You need chamber arms at all with running lower
doing mine friday, I got k sport & im hyped, what toe arms did you get?
Z1 motor sports if I remember right.
@@tdtgarage1697 do you HAVE to get the toe arms or can you use the existing bucket?
@@Phillyswirl123 it depends on how low you go, and what you want your alignment to be like. I did away with the buckets because I went coilover. But if you lower just on springs you have to keep the bucket and possibly use new adjustable tow bolts that require drilling the holes larger. I really wanted a good square alignment so I did all of it.
Looking good!! How r u liking those XXRs?
Thank you! And I really like the xxr wheels. Obviously they are not the wheels for street credit. But for a daily, and a nice looking wheel I would definitely recommend looking into them. I run a set on the turbo Miata also! Great bang for your buck😎
Hey man i got a 2004 g35x. What springs did you have before? And would they fit my model?
I went with tien coils. But I Didn’t think they were low enough, so I bought coilovers. But, by the time I got the coils the springs did settle and they were about as low as the coilovers are now.. www.z1motorsports.com/springs/tein/tein-g35-sedan-tech-lowering-springs-p-21899.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA8YyuBhBSEiwA5R3-Ew9qxxWP6gDL7H0DUX3C8SwuTOnupnC2Wz8_k2vTz3XZlOUjRZyUohoC0_kQAvD_BwE
i got a g35x 2008 will i need anything else or can i just get the coilovers and install em and go on about my day? im not gonna drop it more than 2"
Um.. your camber will definitely be off. Front really has no adjustment on stock arms. But try it and see what you think. I’m at like 26 inches from ground to fender lip all the way around. Worse case you buy a couple parts here and there to get it right. But it shouldn’t be to bad at 2”
What happens to the front brake lines?
Do they just hang or clamp/zip tie them???
I ended up just using zip tie
what did you do with the little black rubber pieces that came with them?
I think you might be talking about the bracket and rubber grommets to hold the brake lines? Are those the ones you are talking about?
@@tdtgarage1697 yes!
@@tristenjaynes2458 for some reason I couldn’t make them fit on the front.. so I tied them up and out of the way in a nice way. If you ca get them to work let me know😂😬
what springs did u have on it before
Tein s tech. To be honest i probably could have left them on. I didn’t let them settle long enough before I ordered the coils. But I don’t have any video of the springs on to show the height.
Can somebody send me the link? Will this fit my g35x 2006

Isn’t there a custom taillights like gtr
I think so.. I honestly just cleaned my taillights up and used them to save money 😅
How they holding up ? Just bought some
They are great! They get really low. I’ve got them basically all the way up. And it measures 26” from ground to top of wheel well. A little stiff but I’ve got the dampers at like half way, so I’m sure they could get softer if i adjusted them. You will love them👍🏻. I had to do camber and toe arms in the rear and front control arms in the front to get the camber in check.
@@tdtgarage1697 Yo do u think these coilovers would work on my g35 coupe?
@@krucialtys they do make a set for your car. Just make sure they say for rwd coupe🙌
@@tdtgarage1697what camber stuff did you buy I also have a 04x

What type of aftermarket y-pipe fits the awd g35 first gen?
Exhaust y pipe.. I don’t actually know. I did just delete my muffler, so I’ll have a vid up soon on how it sounds with the extra large first gen resonator. Sorry for being no help.
@@tdtgarage1697 that res kills the sound. Grab a 350z res for it and youll love it
370Z/G37 Y-pipe fit on mine. They have a larger base that clears our transfer case unlike a 350 y-pipe
@@jsouth1133 did it make a difference with the sound?
@@winstonwolfwhiteshoes yeah I had test pipes with the stock Y-pipe, really raspy. Once I put the new y-pipe in it got rid of the rasp. Deeper tone too
What were the specs on the wheels 19x9 ?
19x9 with a 20 offset.
how much was it
I paid $875. Still haven’t had a chance to get it on the road.. hope to this week, then we will know on the ride quality 👍🏻
What year?
2004😬
Nice!!
Link ?
I’m sorry, what link are you looking for?
@@tdtgarage1697 to the coilovers but I found them
