Do a catch can, then you can poor most of the oil back in every time you get on the throttle Hahaha. Also change your oil every 2500 miles. That works for me.

Just installed this on my 05 Z after watching this video! Hooked it all up and it's golden. Took a test drive and it's solid live feedback. Normally those sensor readers are 60 to 100 bucks. This only costed me 10. And I know everything about what's going on inside my car. Cant thank you enough!
Of course man! I’m glad I could help, a couple people here are saying to not leave it plugged in as it could fry your obd2 port so id recommended just using it when you need it!
PSA: do NOT leave that ELM327 plugged into your OBD2 before or after you turn your engine on. It messes up my G37's TCM and causes my gearbox to act erracticaly (I.e. shifts car to 2nd gear at 70mph, does not downshift after getting off highway, causes extremely rough upshifts after pulling from a traffic stop, DS mode doesn't work anymore). Use it for diagnostics purposes only....

Do you have dyno sheets to prove? I find it hard to believe just because full bolt on g35’s dyno max around 280ish and that’s with e85. Unless you’re force inducted I could see that being a realistic number
I have the torque app as well with an elm 27. But you're talking out your ass there guy. It doesn't allow you to tweak anything at all. All it's doing is giving you live reading. You can see live data readings. It comes in pretty handy actually. Also there's no way in hell that a NA is getting 397hp to the wheels! You're off by 100hp, more like 297hp. Even then that's stretching it. No DE is getting over 280hp at the wheels, maybe push 287hp if you're FBO on a tune running E85. The rev up isn't that much more, now the HR can pull these kind of numbers. But the DE is the most reliable engine out of all the VQs made. So sacrifice a little hp for reliability. Hell yeah I'll take that any day of the WK. You can abuse the hell out of it, as long as you're keeping up with the maintenance they'll last forever. Mine just hit 212k and it's still going strong, it's reliable af. They have the better torque to hp ratio as well. The DE has better bottom in out of its two newer counterparts. It was listed underrated for insurance purposes. A stock VQ35DE would be around 245hp at the wheels and 245/247tq. If it had FBO with a tune it could easily get to 26ohp-270hp at the wheels. If it had FI most usually only give you a 50hp-80hp tops in gains. You have to basically build the whole engine..So it could handle insane amounts of Boost. You could then get some Nos. Even if you did all of that you still wouldn't be pushing no 397hp to the wheels. A VQ37DE is still hard pressed to push 397hp to the wheels. That would mean it'd be over 400hp crank. Not taking away from these cars, I have one myself. They are 18-13yrs old now. They were ahead of their time but are now outdated. A great car to have some fun in. But they are slow compared to modern cars. A VR30DDTT would slay a G35. Just accept the car for what it is, once you start talking out your ass. You start sounding like those ol Honda ricers from the early 00s. Putting fake badges on their cars and acting like they have a sub 10sec car. When in reality their car is all a bark and no bite at all. They have maybe a 15 sec if that. Now there are some built B series that can take on supercars. The VQ is a great engine, it's strong and reliable. But being actually fast it's not. They designed it to be already at its max performance peak at factory. Which is why you get so little hp gains compared to modding a 1Jz/2JZ, VG30DETT, VR30DDTT, VR38DETT, SR20, RB26DDTT, RB28DETT, VK45DE, VK56DD, Honda B and K series engine, and whatever those old 3rd gen GST Eclipses had as well as the VR4 3000GT.
YES!!! I guess the only real downside is if you don’t have an android device you can’t use it but there’s still some iOS capable scanners and apps so you can still do similar functions!
Of course brother! It’ll take some getting use to to connect the scanner to your device but once you get it down, it’ll be fast to connect! Something you can use aswell is check your voltage on your accelerator pedal, there’s a range and if it’s within voltage you’re good, if not, your pedal sensor could be faulty!

Where investigation is on me for a mental evaluation and my car. Has two compartments and empty storage since I dont have back seats. Help me

Yeah the chip is unfortunately just for android, they do sell some that are compatible with iOS though, downside is you don’t get the same app since it’s only available on Google play store

Yeah I’ve found the app doesn’t pair sometimes so I just keep pressing pair and clicking the obd2 scanner until connects which sometimes is about 3-5 times! Resetting Bluetooth or even forgetting device and registering again can help aswell

Will this read fuel?? My cluster is faulty and wont read how much gas i have.
It does have a fuel level sensor reading, it’s in a measurement I’m not familiar with but also does has a dial showing how much gas is in it.
