This is so cool and weird! my G35 came with the factory navigation but where your button says AUX mine says VOICE! The adapter in the trunk on my model is for sat radio which mine didn't come with, however some of the plugs are there and they look similar.
Could I do this with my g37? I have tech oackage (bose audio) but no bluetooth audio bc I dont have navi. There is an aux USB in center console that doesnt seem to do anything

Will this work on My 07 g35 coupe? And the plug that you remove from the tv tuner what dose it control. And do you plug it back in.

you will need a tv tuner to make it work i think. Maybe some g35 that have the screen option but doesn't have TV tuner?
My 06 US coupe with nav does not seem to have a aux option as i scroll through the various input options with the radio button. It just goes am, fm1, fm2, sat1, sat2. If i add an aux input (as shown in your bideo) do you think i will be able to slect the aux source somehow?
Maybe check on your navi box in the boot first and see if that plug is being used or not? I think there should be a aux option being 06
I found out my car has bluetooth built into it. 06 g35x all I did was press the radio button skip passed AM and FM sources and its the 3rd one, (so press button labeled radio 3 times) once at the 3rd source you can use the tune/rew button to change between more sources. I had bluetooth, auxiliary, sirius, and usb as different options the car speakers say which source you're on so you can't miss it. It's crazy that this car has bluetooth for an 06 so im assuming all of the stock radios even non nav should have bluetooth built in, id have to find someone else with a G to test that out.

@@TheLoner00 man I had to mess with my radio I was pressing random buttons then out of no where it started talking through the speaker and I was able to find bluetooth mode and play it through the stock radio via bluetooth, it's actually really clear too no cuts or static or anything. I have an 06 G35X
@@chrisd5758 I have an 06 coupe and I'm sure it's basic. It just goes through fm1, fm2, am then back to fm1.
@@TheLoner00 hold the radio button for like 10 to 20 secs and see what it does something starting with SR2 or something like that should pop up after the am and fm if not use the track/seek button see if that lets you switch between modes
Well thanks for trying but apparently the G I purchased wound up missing something else. I still plan on switching to another unit eventually. Again thanks for taking the time and trying to help me find it.
Could you give me the name or part number for the plug you mentioned that is hard to get outside of Japan?

I read all the comments. Yes i think as long as you have TV turner it will work.
Did you have a chance to probe any of the other pins with it powered. If there is 5v or 12v on any of those pins then you could use it to power a RCA to Bluetooth device and stream music via Bluetooth?

I have a question I don’t know if you’ll see this but what year is your infinity? Mine is a 2004 and I found an aux port and I can’t tell if it’s factory or not
mine is a 2005 Dec . i don't think these cars come with AUX port from factory

@@smurf_chicago6555 it was actually on both sides inside of the car next to where your knees would be. If you were sitting on the drivers side it would be next to your right knee and if it isn’t there I’m not sure

2006 fuga y50/M35/45 same rules applied? The m is base no Navi
it should be the same just have a look in the boot if u have tv turner it should work

mine is a 2005 with navi option. if your one have navigation system then check if you have the tv tuner in the boot, if you do then it should work :)

you can buy the vtr plug but they are really hard to come buy. however you can get them from amazon japan and that should cost you around 70 bucks and prob 2 month of shipping
@@trumpetvq4453 an even better idea would be to run at a scrap yard and find a harness with same number of connections and splice it all up
Would it be possible to retrofit/ reuse the plug from the oem analog TV tuner to get RCA? If so which pins do I have to use?
Car is a 04 V35 350GT 70th anniversary edition coupé and had already Aux option when it came from Japan (not through the TV tuner and so far I was too lazy to check how they did it)
I'm more interested in using the RCA to add a reverse camera to use on the oem screen.

don't think so since the non nav might not have the tv turner
The stock radio actually has bluetooth built into it.
