Welcome back to another what I eat in a day video. I really enjoy making these videos, not only because I love sharing my recipes and inspiration with you all, but also because I find it sometimes holds me accountable for cooking meals at home throughout the day and helps me stay creative in the kitchen!
When it comes to nutrition for me, there are not many things that I tend to change up. For example, I love sticking to my fresh fruits, veggies, savory breakfasts, meats, seafood, and smoothies! However, one thing that I do want to start changing is how much protein I eat in a day. Believe it or not, it is actually very hard for us to hit our recommended daily protein intake, but it’s the key ingredient when it comes to gaining and maintaining muscle. Gaining more muscle has been on my list of goals this year, and I am determined to hit that goal! I wanna take you with on this journey so hopefully you will enjoy this video.

i love how you promote healthy eating and eating at home that actually tastes good and is realistic without encouraging calorie counting or weight loss. and you show healthy portions with balanced macros/micros. wanting to lose weight isn't bad especially if one is very overweight, but, it is easy to fall into the trap of calorie counting and obsessing over weight when it is really health that matters. a healthy weight will come after your eating habits and quality of diet improve!

Highly recommend adding in a big scoop of cottage cheese to your scrambled eggs once they’re off the heat! Makes them so creamy and delicious, and also adds a lot of additional protein.

Idea for the carrot, make it a side salad with acid of choice and garlick and parsley.. i do Acv and i bit of oil.. and voila.. it is very tasty to add something spicy too.. enjoy..

Hi Sanne, I am a certified trainer & I think creatine works wonders and is completely safe for most people. It’s the most used supplement among the gymgirls (& boys) but not really popular in the Pilates scene. But I love how you not let yourself put in a box and spice up your fitness journey with new goals.☺️ I don’t like the whole you are either a gym muscle mommy OR a slim Pilates girl thing, you can try everything you like and set new goals for different parts of your life.☺️

I recommend Siggi yogurt in the US if you want European style yogurt. You can get it Whole Foods and other places. I think you can get Skyr too. It comes in 0%, 2% or 4%. They are high in protein, creamy and no sugar added.

Thanks for sharing ❤I love sourdough bread and avocado 🥑 so many plans label avocados as bad which is crazy. Yoghurt is my go to snack with honey and fruit or maple syrup.

Hi Sanne, 2 months ago I started with weight lifting 3 times per week. My trainer told me thag the most important for creatine is to be micronized creatine. I'm using it more than one month and I feel benefits, especially woth energy and performance. I finally gained weight that I couldn't do before. Looking forward to see more content about this topic! ❤

Creatine is good but not forever it's bad for your liver.
@@fastm3980 currently there is no such evidence for it. Creatine is on of the most safe supplement. There is 20 years of research and proofs that is safe for kidney and liver if you take proper doses.

Thank you! I realized I just loved how I felt from the inside when I started to feel stronger.. I encourage you to stay consistent in workouts every day, and most importantly the focusing on your nutrition and protein!

Creatine = weight gain. Very quickly. Muscle centric. On the 100 g protein... I calculate how much to have daily, mine is close to that. BUT, as I increased my protein closer to my "requirement" my kidney blood work was beginning to show issues. My BUN and creatinine levels rose quickly and outside recommended parameters. So, be careful.
What brand are your rice noodles? So I can get some. They are so difficult to find in the UK glutenfree! What brand are yours??

Skyr is prononuced schyr its icelandic yoghurt... Arla dont have it in Sweden even if Arla is a swedish company from the beginning... In finland they have more good yoghurt and skyr

Creatine has similar affects to your body as meth! I do crossfit and it is a big supplement in that community, but my crossfit coach went to the doctor and they asked if he was taking meth after doing several tests and it turns out creatine can have adverse effects!
I started keto diet two years ago, i stopped eating fat, bread, sugar, and all of the things i like except vegetables and some fruit but unfortunately i had issues in my lower back, so it was a fail 😟
Definitely listen to your body's cues and what it is trying to tell you, not every diet is made for everyone!

Hi! I love eggs! However, I know they do not agree with some people, so it's kind of all about trial and error. If they do well with you, I definitely recommend them because they have so many nutrients to them!

Not sure you train enough for creatine 😅 it's usually for bodybuilders or crossfiters training for a competition or high volume.
Creatine is very good for active people like Sanne 😊 she will probably see faster results. I started with creatine a couple months ago and achieved my best form and performance yet! I highly recommend it 😋
creatine is good for anyone who works out and is looking to gain muscle. you don’t have to do a specific type of training to take it.
If you use the ATP-PC energy system while training, creatine will help. That's literally 100% of people who train.
