how do you get the lever off?
I think I would put a couple tack welds on that heim joint collar incase that set screw loosens up. Great video
Yep I welded that bolt on to the swing arm.that way you don't have to use a crappy allen wrench, I didn't use the heimjoint tho I ended up sticking a piece of copper.pipe and it worked as a makeshift bushing

Why can't you drill a hole through the shaft and put a cotter pin through it to keep the clutch rod from popping off?
I mean, you could...OrJust fix it permanently and not have to worry about the clutch rod wearing an oval shaped hole and causing shifting issues....
That's an Idea, rather than trying to beat it out of its home. I wonder if it would be long enough though. I'm trying to do this on my 95
Would like to know where I can get one, since the website for the diesel mechanics on your post doesn't show or list them to be able to order.
Most diesel shops sell them as a kit, just search for Clutch Heim Joint mod/kit.
