Hey sweet video, not many like this. I was wondering have you ever changed your wick yet? I was wondering if a zippo wick would fit. Hoping I can use all my extra zippo stuff to outfit one of these and get it going again.
Thank you. I have not replaced it yet. But if i did it would be with a zippo wick. Im assuming exotac made it to where you can use them and not need a special wick but you know how some companies are to make more money. Give it a try!
Friend, how do I change the spark wheel on my TitanLight, it was accidentally damaged. It has a brass shaft, it has a thread or it has to be removed in another way, it says. OK.
Is your wick pulled out enough? I believe the proper hight is flush with the top of the chimney. Also if its new its best to over fill with zippo lighter fluid on the first fill up just to really saturate everything. Shake off any excess
@@Mountainbum1876 That's what I did...same with a Zippo. Over fill...do this over a jar or something, then screw on the cap. Fluid drips. When it stops, wipe it off and screw on cap. Let it sit a minute...open, wipe...light. You gotta soak the insides really well. As long as you wipe your hands and the lighter off every time you fill it you will be ok. Zippos will do the same things. Just realize its a fluid lighter and you're good. I put spare flints and a small piece of extra cotton in on top to hold them , sort of, in place.
👍

SuperLube O ring grease works great with this lighter. You can get #35 floro chemical and heat resistant rings
Did you replace the bottom ring and is it the same? I think I would choose an oil resistant o ring or use some DuPont o ring protectant
Informative video! Wondering......will Zippo flints work in this lighter?
Yes. They're better than the Exotac OEM flints too.
The zippo flints work and they spark better, agreed

How's it holding up?
Still a snug fit, but i dont use it every day.
It could be me but my exotac lighter won't stay lit less than a minute
