ONEWIND Ultralight Hammock

Its small and compact and rides nicely in my haversack. I struggled with the stabilizing cord, but I believe I just had to adjust my hammock straps a little more for it to work properly.
Tahoma Field Knife | Survival Blade
zhlédnutí 1,6KPřed 2 lety
I bought this knife back in 2017 and used it on a few camping trips and day hiking trips. For a bigger knife it handles the finer Bushcrafty tasks well. I sped up parts of the video so I wouldn't bore you all to death.

Just got this saw second hand. Your video speed started my acquaintance with everything. Thanks!
How much
Tasty 😂
Thank you sir thats a might fine video!❤
Thanks my Haversack will be secure thxs to you❤
Coleman fluid is pretty much gasoline, not kerosene. Coleman actually sells these as gasoline lanterns. Naphtha however is more highly refined and doesn't have additives like the gas you put into a car. Kerosene is more oil based is is more similar to diesel.
Nice video. Exactly what i needed after buying ine if these today and it leaking from the knob.
What is that brass tube thing that comes out the bottom? I have 3 of these lanterns and non have that, it looks like a starter or flint striker?
how many mm total leather thick? thank you😊
Hey sweet video, not many like this. I was wondering have you ever changed your wick yet? I was wondering if a zippo wick would fit. Hoping I can use all my extra zippo stuff to outfit one of these and get it going again.
Thank you. I have not replaced it yet. But if i did it would be with a zippo wick. Im assuming exotac made it to where you can use them and not need a special wick but you know how some companies are to make more money. Give it a try!
I came here looking for information on how to replace/repair the end button switch -- which has quit working on three of my (seldomly used) identical Monarch 500 flashlights. I have been unable to find replacement parts for this flashlight. Incidentally, the flashlight came with a woven black nylon lanyard, which is attached via a small split ring (also included), which easily fits through that hole you showed.
Use the tent stakes the other way around, concave section facing towards the tarp (strongest resistance to being pulled out) Your tarp should be more accessible and your ridge line set up is mind numbingly slow, these things could be the difference between life and death.
Just tried mine for the first time and fucked it up 😂
PS The choke settings are quite clear .. but when you push the lever down to full .. it just comes back up ? Everything else on the video is excellent thanks.
You don't show the one thing I need to know .. the choke settings ?
SuperLube O ring grease works great with this lighter. You can get #35 floro chemical and heat resistant rings
Thanks for the video I was looking to learn what size of Allen head was needed and you provided that nice and early. I put the Magpul pistol grip + on mine tonight what a difference it’s got a soft rubber texture way better grip and the beaver tail just fits and feels right. One thing I’d point out is in my instructions Magpul advised to not re use OEM screw and lock nut but to use theirs. If you look at the screw they provide with new grip it’s slightly coated with seal tight and is recommended over the previous grip unit. It does seat and seal better at least on mine. I’ve got the all black DB15 I must say I really like the look of your with FDE and black furniture. DB15s are so nice for the price! Cheers.
Pardon me, but was thinking about getting a dog's head k-bar knife, and was wondering how you got that stone-wash/patina finish on the blade? Thank you so much for your help !
I sprayed Klean strip paint stripper on the blade and let it sit for a bit then wiped it off and got that stone washed finish to it.
If you make the fold and then iron it, it will hold its shape well for riveting or sewing. You could also sew the edges with heavy twine and a speedy stitcher sewing awl.
Have the same bike if you do a lot of Road riding you should get your valves adjusted two times a year at least once a year it will start and idle first kick it is a very easy bike to start
JUNK!
Friend, how do I change the spark wheel on my TitanLight, it was accidentally damaged. It has a brass shaft, it has a thread or it has to be removed in another way, it says. OK.
Good demo, help me a lot. Thanks so much
Looks great, awesome modification. That's how this knife should look!!
Just got one - it's the mother of heavy duty backpacks -I love it cuz I feel like a Swiss cowboy in the valais 😂
Colemam fuel is Naptha. Not kero OR car gas. SEAFOAM is also Naptha with thin oil added. Seafoam just makes smoke in this case
Thanks for bringing me along on the virtual camping trip! Should've made some bacon with them there pancakes, but I know you don't "dig on swine".😉 Let's grab a beer sometime soon!
Looks like a fun trip!
This rips
What is the advantage of using both? Ive seen one or the other but never together.
Not sure to be honest ive just seen others do it this way so i just went with it
The linseed oil, probably helps melting the beeswax faster, and it may help to apply it easier on the canvas.
Use a file to round down the points of the side of the guard that you cut . That should help with the part that is still physically uncomfortable to you .
nothing new here. this set of mods are lifted directly from 300 other videos on here. come back when you have something
This video is 7 years old. Come back when your head is out of your ass.
Thanks for the review my friend, i just ordered it to complete my hammock setup!
I've had mine for 2 years. Excellent little saw
Patients my friend, review your mentors video often. You'll do fine.
Cool Video 👍 Thank U for the Info 👍 I ordered it but Ur handle looks way better... U got a new subscriber....
Thank you my friend. I dont upload regularly as much as i would like to but im always thinking about the next video.
I just carry a pocket knife , and leave the Ka-bar alone. But I ain't real smart anyways.
Time saver, get a Ka-Bar Dog head. Also, add #15 plumbing O-rings to the gaps in the handle, that will add a much better grip control as well as eliminating hot spots in the grip.
Nice mod dude. They haversack flopping around as you mentioned is really annoying. Very practical what you did -may have to do it myself
Your video is good but you went to fast putting it back together, how can we slow that down.
On the video screen you should be able to adjust the “video playback speed”
@@Mountainbum1876 thanks ill try that.
You look like a samurai when you tightened the belt!!!!
Blade is stripped, peep hole is drilled into the lower guard, top guard is ground off and rounded to match the handle, need to get the proper file to jimp the spine, spine is already 90 degrees so the fire stick is sparking well, ordering the tactical nylon sheath from Ka-Bar since this sheath feels like a cardboard box, spent two hours with my work sharp to put a razor sharp mirror edge on the blade, still need to fire up the belt grinder and take the clip point off for a drop point and and last was a sharpening choil. I think my 1211/1213 is coming along nicely. Keep at it man these knives are fun to modify.
Wear two haversacks and hook 'em together behind your back!
Thumbs up 👍
Should have gotten a woobie my guy
I have one two actually
WHY ?
Coleman fuel is similar to gasoline but without much for additives. Quite a bit different than Kerosene.
Thumbs up
Thank you
hey thats a cool mod glad you enjoy your blackbird.. safe journeys to you
Thanks for stopping by Blackie
is this flame proof? the beeswax might melt but will the linseed protect the canvas from burning?
