Its small and compact and rides nicely in my haversack. I struggled with the stabilizing cord, but I believe I just had to adjust my hammock straps a little more for it to work properly.
I know Blackie is also a big fan of Onewind hammocks. I like how compact that is in the stuff sack. I can recommend hammock forums and the Ultimate Hang book for instruction on hang angles and ridgeline lengths. The hammock community is a friendly and knowledgeable group, welcome aboard!
Thank you! Looking forward to learning more about hammocks! Blackie did introduce me Onewind hammocks from watching his videos. So far i am liking them a lot. I have more to come on their hammocks!
Great addition to you load out 😀 I think if you set your hammock up with greater distance from the trees. Let's say 18 feet and then tighten the cord so you roughly gets a 30 degree angle compared to the Ridgeline. That way you will get the same hang independent on outer circumstances, like distance between the trees. Most people seem to agree that a 30 degree angle is most comfortable and easiest to get a flat sleep on the diagonal. All the best, Rob
@@Mountainbum1876 I am doing alright, keeping busy. There are some videos up on my latest canoe trip to Värmland. I was up visiting Steve, norfnife. It was fun and we had great weather. I hope you are doing well too.
@@Andersbork i just realized i got unsubbed from you. My apologizes my friend. CZcams has been giving me trouble lately and unsubscribing me from folks. I re subbed!
@@Mountainbum1876 yeah I think they are trying to purge smaller channels. I have the same thing happen to me. Btw check out shugemery, he has videos on everything hammock related.
