Con Air you will be! Thank you; keep doing you

Thanks for motivating us! Wish you the best in your life and career.
Thanks for all your input and your story. It is quite inspiring for those like myself who want to become a pilot.
Very cool Ryan! Stoked for you!
Ryan, youâre an inspiration to me. Iâm in the exact same situation you were in with a lot of similarities. so much so, you basically said my life story. Youâre the best. Wish you nothing but success.
Keep going man. May the almighty bless you abundantly.
Happy for you dude! G650 is a beast!
this was so inspiring! thank you for sharing!

Thank you captain! Really needed this vid. In A&P college right now aiming to become an aircraft technician and then a commercial pilot.
Thanks for the update Ryan!
Very inspiring, life is what you make it! I like your âglass half fullâ mentality. So cool to see you paving your own way no matter what life throws at you.
Benjamin Groenveld thank you, I greatly appreciate it
Honestly such an inspiration. Thank you so much for all your videos man! Keep it comingđ©
Aneesh Gurram thank you!
Im doing the exact same thing. Went to Riddle for a year out in Prescott and now at ATP working to get my CFI. Awesome to hear your story man.
Ryan, you're a huge inspiration.. Not just for me but other aspiring Jet pilots.
Thanks for sharing, hopefully we'll cross paths once I too am embedded in the industry.
Cheers!
Killing it bro.. I've watched you since ATP
Good for you, brotha.
Thanx Ryan.. I needed to hear those inspiring words you said.. I'm half way thru my instrument rating and I feel the elephant on my back, but I am "Driven".. Quitting is not an option...!!!
You put in the work and developed a successful approach. Congrats man! Really your enjoy videos, keepâem coming
You're story is incredible
Simply awesome!!!
Great Story!
Thanks for this video Ryan, Iâm 27 just finished my private, and moving to Scottsdale area this week to finish the rest!
Amazing story!
I needed to hear your story today. I also went to Riddle for a year, but I'm older than you and ended up in a completely different line of work outside of aviation. I got my private but now I'm seriously considering going all the way for my commercial and CFI. I don't even know you and I'm proud of you!
Great video man!!
Something I was really interested in knowing, its crazy were both the same age. You worked for it and I'm glad to see things working in your favor. Incredible man
christian tucker thank you so much, god bless
God bless you Brother great story! đđŒđđŒ
Awesome story!
This was very motivating and inspiring, thank you! I've been feeling like I'm very behind compared to many other pilots/student pilots around my age but this reminded me to stay focused, for everyone's path is different.
Captn Deyaa absolutely, everyone has their own path. I feel behind compared to some... but âwinners focusing on winning, losers focus on winnersâ (good quote) thank you
Great job. Proud of you. â„ïž
Shea Jones đ
Awesome story and channelâŒïž keep up the good work
dude awesome video, nice to here your story. Hope some people take these advices into consideration. May God continue blessing you and those around you.. wish you Clear Sky and lots of tailwind
Juanel Vargas thank you so much
Hey Ryan really inspiring video! I'm also at KSDL at Sierra Charlie Aviation working on my commercial. Hardest part for me is working the ramp at Piedmont full time and studying and flying on my off time. Some days i feel like I am too stagnant and the journey feels like it will never end. After watching this video it helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for the awesome video!
Dude g650 is like the holy grail! Congrats man
Great story, Ryan. Success in your endeavors. Although Iâm much older then you, I am becoming a flight instructor. Not easy, but very possible. Thanks for your good information .
You're an inspiration.
Nicolas Gomez thank you
That's crazy how you grew up going to PDK. That is my home base and I know that exact playground you are talking about. That is also where my pilot career started when I got taken up for a flight in a Piper Warrior out of PDK. Cool to hear!
Attitude determines your altitude, great job no surface ceiling for you!
Thats actually pretty good quote. For aviation at least.
Indeed
Hey man just found your channel. Im currently a line guy at sheltair and im getting to know so much about airplanes and want to become a pilot but not a airline pilot. Just turned 21 and gonna start taking lessons soon. Thanks for the videos
Awesome story! Love to fly the 650. I'm flying the GIV now
Thanks for your information. Ryan
geore ger (:
You the best man. I was the one who flowed you since you were with ATP.
Y H thank you
Appreciate the info!
1990koolaid thank you
Thanks for sharing. Been waiting to hear this for a while. Been keeping up with you since 2016 and wondered how you jumped from CFI to Gulfstream in no time haha. Good job Ryan
Great positive message. Never ever burn a bridge, someday that individual maybe a chief pilot. In your case, listen listen listen to your pax and ask questions, they are the movers of the world and can open doors you never knew existed.
Sea Travel absolutely
Great video
Man I came across your CZcams the other day and what I figured out in this video is pretty crazy. My mom used to take me to PDK to play on the playground when I was little too. Iâm 21 right now so what are the odds we played together back in the day hahah. Anyway Iâm working on my cfi right now in college and it looks like your crazy successful and moved on from aviation. Best of luck to you!
Solid dude
I'm a junior in highschool and your living my dream I hope to do exactly what you are by the age your are some day!
Congratulations
good words!
Incredible story man! I can tell you've truly worked hard for this and its great to see someone give back to the industry. I'm About to study for my 14 ATPL's exams in the UK, but due to finance It'll probably take another 2 years before I'm done with ratings and apply for jobs in the industry. Hopefully I can get in-touch again with my CV, so you can point me in the right direction. The industry truly is about "who you know." Glad you pointed that out. Great channel man take care!
You ever been out to Falcon Field in Peachtree City, GA? I am training out of there right now and looking to fly corporate also, huge inspiration man!
Wish I would have found this channel two years ago when I was 21 đđ
Atta Boy Ryan! You gotta listen to Leo Kotke (sp?). Pamela Brown. He sings a song about a girl who left him.... And that's the reason why he's having fun and traveling around!
Best aviation channel on CZcams!! Youâre a big cat ;)
Tyler Kramer bro! I fucking love you... youâre a big cat my man; made me smile
Awesome bro. I'm going from a cj captain to the Gulfstream too đđŒ
Hell ya man, I love it
Hope to see your left seat upgrade on the G650!
Hey Bro,
I just wanted to say that I really appreciated this video. Your story and how far you've come has really stirred something inside me to pursue the same. I wanted to know your thoughts on college/university vs flight school. I'm currently 25yrs old in college studying aviation management and have always wanted to be a pilot but found the pricing intimidating and thus haven't got any flight training as things stand. lemme know if we can touch base somehow. Keep making the content its really insightful and helpful to many out there myself included.
Great story lot od f motivation. I got my CPL and MEL 250 TT looking for opportunity to do anything.
I spy that shoutout. đ haha. Stoked for you man. Feels like just yesterday we were at NBAA trying to figure out what came next for us all.
Hunter Nedin right? Crazy bro... love you and so proud of what youâre doing. Killing the game!
Ryan Huber thanks my dude! You too man!Catch up soonđ€
Flying Learjets at 18? I'm 18 and all I have right now is my written test for the sport pilot license đ but I'm starting my training this summer and I'm looking forward to joining the pilot community! I'll probably pursue my CFI-S later down the road
TheCraftingMaster awesome, keep doing your thing
Dude I donât know how many hrs you have but for you to get a Job in a G650 with the experience you posted on this channel is hard...You got a have a good, good hook up, usually G650 pilots are extremely experienced even FOs.
Great video! Thank you for sharing! I start ATP this August with private pilot credit! Very excited to start this new career path! Why didnât you instruct at ATP? They pay too low or move CFIs around too much?
Tony77J awesome! Good luck, ya, there are better CFI jobs in my opinion
Do you have to hold an ATP certificate with at least 1500 hours in order to start flying corporate part 91 like the airlines require? Or do you just have to complete all of your ratings including multi-engine and CFI's?
Hey Ryan, im about to go into the American Airlines Cadet academy. I'm nervous on the workload of the program and everything it entails, curious as to what you thought about your schooling and if you had any tips that'd be awesome
Great video, how do you transition from multi engine-prop to get a Jet rating?
Hi Ryan, love your videos..how many hours have you logged?
Great Video! I heard rumors that some flight schools with pay for your CFI, just like some part 135 jobs will pay for your multi. Are these rumors true?
Do you have anyone you recommend getting in touch with at Sawyer? I've tried to get in touch with them but no luck. :(
11:25 Best part
I'm a senior in high school and saving up for my private pilot license wanting to do it as soon as possible. Did you have to work for the money for it or are there scholarships for getting your private?
Becoming a gulfstream pilot is great way to own one too đ
Very inspiring video!!! I'm 38yrs old and a chef now but I have 9hrs of flying time. I want know if still possible at my age to be commercial pilot?
Awesome experience I have a question do you have to have a college degree or any type of college education?
Congrats on your journey. Hey how did you get the scholarship?
Ryan, do you prefer to work 1099 contractor or employee and CFI or commercial pilot. Could you make a video on it and how you do your networking to get someone to invest in you to get that jet rating.
Rich A I prefer everything 1099 for tax purposes, I might able to, yes, thank you
Yoo bro so I'm turning 18 on October and trying to become a international pilot so in order to become a pilot you gotta have a bachelors degree after that you get your flying license then you apply to like delta and American airlines etc?
Compared to going to a TP, what do you think of people that get all the ratings through a part 61 slate school local fleet school?
Hey Ryan. I have my private pilots license and graduated high school last year. Iâm thinking of transferring to a 4 year aviation school to get my certs and a degree. Would you recommend this as a good path to becoming a private jet pilot?
10:15 trying to fly in Colorado when itâs snowing sucks. Can I get an amen flight instructors?
So once you were done with your atp, how many hours did you have ?
Awesome video! Im training in a C172, passed my knowledge exam, and now have about 8 hours in the plane. Can't get enough. Planning on going solo by the end of this month! Any tips for my journey as a pilot, both private and beyond that?
Landon Key awesome! Stay focused and always be learning. Chair fly and focus on scenarios not rote knowledge
@@PropGear Thank you! Looking forward to my progression in the near future
@@PropGear what is rote knowledge?
Am looking to buy a plane from cae. Hope they're maintained well. đ
How many hours did you have total time when you started flying Citations?
Hello Ryan, im from India, i watch all your videos and im on a hunt for good flight schools in the USA, i wanna get 0-CPL, can u please recommend some good and inexpensive flight schools in the USA?
how many hours did you have when you started flying jets and how much would someone have to pay for the ratings and training?
Ik this video is 3 yrs old but I had no idea you originated from PDK. I just got my PPL training out of PDK
How many hours do you realistically need to get a look in at a Gulfstream FO job?
I m looking to join a flying school under part 61. So,will I be able to pay for my flying school and living cost since I m not from USA working part times. And how effective this process is for those who cannot afford.
Please reply me so that I could make right decision.
Ryan I'm somewhat in your shoes as well I started private pilot training last year but stopped in the fall. I'm wondering, with ATP getting you all your ratings the fastest....are they worth taking on a $80K-$100K loan? I'm getting to the point where I'm tried of waiting and if make decent money as an instructor how easy is it to start paying back that loan
Joshua Extreme15 itâs hard. Watch my last video on training costs. Thanks
These jobs where you are now , are they up front asking if you have a Degree? Is that really a huge road block to overcome?
At any point in your journey did you think about flying in the military?
Tom Davison for a little while, but it wasnât for me
which atp location did you go to?
Awesome story! Im about to take a 141 CFI job in NJ and they require a 1 year contract. Whats your take on cfi contract gigs?
Trek Advisor if the pay and hours are good and you get a bonus... sure, itâs a good opportunity. A year isnât that long in the long run. Good luck!
@@PropGear thanks for the feedback. so i picked up two part 61 schools. ill be instructing at both. super flexible. hope your job is keeping you busy... ;)
Iâm glad to hear that! Congrats!
How many days a week were you flying with ATP. Iâm sorry if this was asked already.
Iâve been wanting to be a pilot since I was 8 years old, today Iâm 44 years old and have done nothing.
Sunbulah
Am 36 and I stated flying lessons last year. Very similar situation to yours.
You can still pursue it and fly as a hobby just get your private
Couple questions...do you have your ATP? Not that you need it,...but...And...I am considering CAE in PHx. can you tell me what was the issue there? Do you have an email? Also, GREAT T-SHIRT...!!!!!
Iâm sure you ex is probably regretting it
