Top 10 Similarities Between Batman and Spider-Man!
Cool
@@marcusyates3044 I have a few. Depending on the adaptation, they fit the chaotic good alignment of morality. For another, they both lost at least one family member: Thomas and Mary Wayne for Bruce Wayne, and Uncle Ben for Peter Parker-although Aunt May’s time would come in the _Marvel’s Spider-Man_ game and _Spider-Man: No Way Home._
"Is this live?"
"No Homer, very few cartoons are broadcast live. It's a terrible strain on the animators wrists."
Not if it was animated by a thousand monkeys with typewriters.
@@OH_MY_DOGGG also the Cleveland Show was able to do a live episode just fine
@@jsmith3946 And look what happened to the Cleveland Show
@@OH_MY_DOGGG It was the best of times. It was the blurst of times.
Apu's Disappearence was the MOST Notable
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon is still on the show, but no new voice for him yet. The Problem with Apu documentary was a stupid idea in the first place.
Apu was one of the funniest characters on the show
No it wasn't, he was appearing less and less long before the controversies. People just like to forget that.
I'll add another controversy I recently learned about: Marge actress Julie Kavner protested the season 4 episode "Krusty Gets Kancelled" because she did not like the idea of an episode being made just to have a bunch of celebrity guest stars. Harry Shearer also felt the same way, but Julie ended up not providing any VO for the episode in protest.
Voice actors feel threatened by celebrities, especially given big company's trend toward movie away from voice actors and toward movie stars to provide character voices.
😯
Yours don't count
@@playhouseluckey80 it does count. You can’t count.
She doesn’t seem to have any problem with that _nowadays_ though.
I believe Sam Simon's resentment of the other two people behind the show getting all the kudos led directly to the writing of the Flaming Moe's episode where Homer invents a sensational new drink but Moe gets the credit.
On the one hand, #2 doesn't have Matt Groening. But on the other hand, it does have a man getting hit in the groin with a football.
“Is this President Clinton? Good…I figured if anyone knew where to get some Tang, It’d be you…SHUT UP!!!”😂😂😂😂
2- I understand why Groening didn't want to be strong-armed into doing a crossover, but it is a funny episode.
It really does work, even with Jon Lovitz providing the voice. I didn't know about The Critic when I saw it for the first time, but the episode still worked.
Ironically that's become one of their best episodes
Controversies aside, this is an awesome show that deserves more love nowadays!
I laude the cast and staff for taking pay cuts, to continue the show going on. It’s more than just a job for them.
Or, you know, a pay cut is better than losing your job altogether. A steady, well paying gig is hard to come by in the entertainment industry.
Make something or make nothing.
@@TheDrexxus I mean considering how much the Simpsons makes for Twentieth Century/Disney they could afford to be a tad more generous.
But it is tension
They did take pay cuts. But eventually they made it all back.
Except for the fact that the Critic was hilarious, and “A star is Burns” is an unmitigated masterpiece.
LMFAO, Poochie having to go back to his "home planet", is still one of the funniest moments on the series!!! I liked the episode with the Critic. That was when the show was still good. All the jabs at both Fox & Fox News, have always been freakin' hilarious, as well, lol.
That football to the groin as Nelson laughs is still hilarious 🤣
Deep space homer is a classic
There's always controversies that go on behind the scenes
Going head to head with The Cosby did not "decimate" them in the ratings, but the viewership dropped sharply when they were moved back to Sunday.
It's weird that they didn't even mention Dr. Hibbert, since he's obviously supposed to be Cosby.
True. It was brilliant counter programming. FOX was still relatively new and the move helped kick Cosby, out of the #1 spot. Cosby Show was already aging in its 7th season, 4 of the 5 kids had moved out of the house and went to college or got married and they had to bring in a new kid (Raven Symone).
@@radrobd123 and they are winding down of popularity. It is obvious why
I think they should cancel it before something bad will happen, such as losing more of their beloved characters, or the passing of one of their main VAs.
The show has over three decades worth of Simpsons audio. Im sure they'll just splice new dialogue if a main VA passes. You can downvote this comment but Fox will not let go of their cashcow and they'll do anything to make sure of that.
@@marcen12 I wouldn't put it past them.
@@freya8133 if Disney could do it with Carrie Fisher in Episode Nine.
Or to give marge’s voice a break, at this point she sounds like she has a throat disease
First Simpsons Then Family Guy Now Bob's Burgers also King Of The Hill Futurama American Dad! and The Critic to a lesser extent
"Not racist, but #1 with racist.". The f'ing balls of this show...
Sam Simon left the show in 1993? No wonder why he's barely referenced in anything having to do with it, I thought he just took a back seat after the earlier seasons.
It was more tension
Some pretty good stuff in these, listed as random items but applicable to subject. Thanks so much ❣️🤓
Mr. Spritz Goes to Washington is one of my favourite episodes!
Some of these are repeats from other lists but this was still quite enjoyable.
#9 is not actually a controversy. And the truth is The Simpsons helped kicked Cosby out of the #1 spot. For 5 seasons (1985-1990), Cosby was the #1 show on American network TV. FOX which was relatively still new in 1990 had a hit with The Simpsons and the counter-programming of The Simpsons against Cosby helped Cosby lose it's #1 spot and the second season, Cosby dropped out of the Top 10 altogether thanks to The Simpsons. The Simpsons also helped lead in to a new show on FOX, Beverly Hills, 90210, which proved to another huge hit for the network.
And Roseanne is responsible
@@lexkanyima2195 and so was foxes other big hit show Married with Children
@@jsmith3946 but it was not a top 20 or top 30 show
Controversies aside, I still have a love for The Simpsons.
Love the older episodes. One of the most brilliant shows at that time.
@@alanbehrens4231 I watch the old episodes from time to time. Thanks, Disney Plus
Should have been cancelled at least 15 years ago.
What have they made fun of throughout the years
Interesting since Sam Simon is still also credited with Futurama
Can't wait for the new treehouse of horror this year!
Great vid
I actually forgot about that. Tracey Ullman sued Fox cause she felt that she deserved royalties.
That thumbnail lol
holy shit it’s offensive how little fox paid the voice actors. the first ten seasons of the simpsons had a total of 226 episodes with anywhere from 6.8 million to 33.6 million american viewers for the first airing of a new episode
great video
Tracy Ullman was going NOT involved in the creative aspect of The Simpsons. I agree that some money should have been given but it seems that she wanted a big piece of the pie. If the show had been cancelled in season three, would she have went after them?
DADDY NEEDS TO CHILL
I disagree. I don't think you're entitled to a cut of someone's profits in perpetuity just because you're the reason they became famous.
If that were the case, just look at all the actors and singers that made huge careers after getting their start as a child actor working for Disney either in Mickey Mouse club or any one of their many children series. Brittney Spears, Ariana Grande, Zendaya, Zac Efron, and countless more.
Are you saying Disney is entitled to a percentage of their earnings forever because they are the ones responsible for propelling those people to fame?
Should a record company OWN an artist they signed as a teenager for the rest of their life because no one would know who they are if they hadn't made the deal?
Think about what you're saying for a minute.
Tracy Ullman wasn't entitled to anything. Anything she gave platform to was done so for HER OWN benefit. She helped the Simpsons get started because it was in her financial interest at that point in time to do so. It wasn't selfless or altruistic or doing it for them, she did it for herself. Then when they became bigger than her, she got mad and wanted a slice of the pie. She is just greedy and jealous, nothing more, nothing less.
@@TheDrexxus i agree but at the same time, she went about it the wrong way.
What's interesting is Tracey declined having a voice role in the animation shorts that aired on her show. They went to her supporting cast (Julie Kavner, Dan Castellaneta). She says she regrets doing that and would still be part of the voice cast today.
@@radrobd123 why ?
I used to work in television at the local level. We had a policy of rejecting commercials with a text crawl at the bottom, because it could be mistaken for news content.
Good stuff
Cosby Show was on NBC, not Fox. Simpsons were on opposite Cosby on Thursdays.
fun fact the Simpsons lodger character of Roy from the Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show episode was originally going to be in the Treehouse of Horror Segment Time & Punishment as Homers eldest teenage son in an alternate reality but was never made
I loved a star is burns lol
I loved The Critic too.
SIMPSONS HAS A BUNCH OF CONTROVERSIES!
Simpsons is one of the greatest adult cartoons in history
WAS
Well I'll tell you this about the Simpsons you can't be a show that's been around for over 30 years without getting some heat.
Love the Simpsons nsonlooking forward to this xxxx
Can you do top 10 members of Marvel's Thunderbolts team from the Comics?
What episode is Kristy and the zoo animals from at 3:57?
the simpson is a great show
125K per episode?! Damnnn😭😭
9:26 If You’ve Seen This Clip In 4K You’re An OG
Man, The Simpsons really pushed the envelope and not only is funny, but totally dominated television
2 things about this video
1) The Poochie controversy shouldve been added with the fact that Roy was the attempt to bring a new character in the Simpsons house, Poochie was about networks butting in
2) #1 as the babysitter bandit was PENNY MARSHALL not TRACEY ULLMAN
Tracey Ullman did a couple of voices in Season Two.
@@strawberrysoulforever8336 oh yes I knew that
This is a actual pilot before the christmas primetime episode.
@@lexkanyima2195 But because of problems with animation or something along those lines, they ended up airing it at the end of the season instead of as the first one. Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire was actually the sixth one recorded, with Bart the Genius being second.
@@strawberrysoulforever8336 i see it, and it felt a bit rushed.
Butch Hartman used to watch this show, but he forgot an episode where they add a new character from Itchy and scratchy.

You forgot to mention Sam Simon passed away nearly 10 years ago.
I'm surprised FOX didn't cancel it like several decent programs aw well...
They forgot to mention when the tourist board of Rio tried to sue the show after an episode made fun of their country

gotta love it. leaves the show of thinking he didn't get enough credit, and get 10 mill a year +.. yup.
What do you think the Simpsons would be like if Homer and Bart were sane and had common sense like Marge and Lisa?
Definitely wouldn’t be as good as it is😂😂😂
Hey spammer
I'm taking it Tracy never got paid the money that her studio did.
d’oh
Forget the controversies.
It’s still a great show.
Some people are just complainers.
100% agreed

Simpsons are still my favorite! I don't care about the controversies
Wow 😲 I never no
Can you do comic book origin of Marvel's Swordmaster?

I'm a little surprised the controversy surrounding Apu wasn't included.

Top 10 Similarities Between Batman and Spider-Man!

I think it was very stupid they got rid of Hank Azaria just cause he voiced Apu like so the f what if he was white and was voicing a fictional Indian character all that should matter is that his voice fits the character well regardless of race but people are being a bunch of pathetic clot poles believing bs nonsense like fictional characters should all be voiced by VAs of the same race which is stupid and discriminatory.
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon is still my favorite Simpsons characters of all time.
I definitely agree. It's segregation done by people who should've known better. But on the other hand, I am happy my boy Jay Pharaoh is getting more work.
Thank for The video ❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🏆🏆👌👌
Amazing video watch mojo of the Simpsons getting sued, fantastic job.
Today Simpsons is a really bad childerns cartoon.
Simpsons isn’t bad I prefer family guy

A show that openly mocks the company they work for, yet they make that company so much money that they never fire them... now THAT’S capitalism. 🤣
foKKKs
for me is most controversial episode is asian hate crimes or black lives matter.
The Cosby Show was not funny.
JFK Posthumously joins Republican party... Simpsons predicting the future again...
I'm posible z d x el
Get the WatchMojoLady Rebecca Brayton doing The Simpsons videos. I don't like this American voice over guy. I didn't like when Disney took over The Simpsons and it wasn't the same.
What’s wrong with Ryan or any of the other narrators? Andrew is the only one I have qualms about, but all of the others are just fine. Still, my question stands.
125,000$ per episode wtf they should have only made the 30,000$ per episode and been happy with it people who work actual jobs makes less than that a year they are just VA's smh that's some BS
I'm posible z d
Hey spammer loser ha ha ha
don't know why you are making a big deal about simpsons making fun of fox almost every fox show in the 90 made fun of them I remember married with children having a bunch of jokes about fox
Now that Disney owns it
The Simpsons is officially dead
Says who?
Wasn't it dead when the seasons went double digits?
I back this statement
I think the show should have ended with Simpsons Tall Tales in May 2001.
i still cant believe this show is on the air after all these years. should have been cancelled after its 10th season honestly.
The Simpsons have not been funny since the early 90’s
Not even close try 2000's
