To take a hard stance on back paddles but not even have a clue what hall effect tech is and argue with chat that you are right is quite a move lmfao.
was blown away nobody had heard of hall sticks lmao
The Steam Deck has done all the groundwork for the Super (& Super Duper) Nintendo Switch.
Juice it up, ship it out.
From what I know about magnets, I think it's brilliant. It's easier, and there's less room for malfunction. As it is, the rails on the switch get looser over time, and imo, make the whole thing feel flimsier. Some magnets can create a really solid hold. Niodinium magnets, for example, are so powerful they can cause serious and gruesome accidents when misused. Obviously, that's on the extreme end, but magnets can definitely be sturdy, and give a nice click when they connect.
I will not stand for pro controller slander!! It may be standard, but it does everything so well.
Pro Controller is quite literally the best controller of all time currently. It could be improved sure, and I hope they do, but it outperforms all other controllers on the market by several degrees of magnitude
@@AREAlhero I think wii u pro controller was better. It had 80 hours batter life. You can beat multiple games with single chatge
@@hododod246 I've done the same on the Switch. The Wii U Pro Controller was good and all, it was the blueprint for the Switch Pro Controller after all, but the stick layout was atrocious and it was lacking in features that the Switch one has
loook, I looove 4 and Im from Mass, loved the basebuilding despite any inperfections. Buuuuut 4 had no megaton choice.
New vegas runs well on steam deck with mods. Currently playing through it at the moment.
Yeah pro controller 2 with adaptive triggers like elite 2 or edge controller
The switch keeping pro controller support is huuuuge for launch Nintendo games. And it’s because of 3rd party controllers being everywhere. They want people buying party games off the bat.
Nintendo Snap, I’m calling it. It has a camera, so you Snap a picture. The controllers snap on. Every person in the Nintendo directs snaps before every reveal. The Switch iconic sound effect is a Snap/click sound.
Its not weird to go see a movie by yourself
Gotta love how quick they jumped over that Microsoft Xbox news that basically confirmed that Microsoft wants to turn Xbox into a 3rd party publisher and less focus on hardware
something that the Xbox management dosent want to do
This civil war is very very interesting but gets ignored by the gaming media for some reason
Mark my words soon all Xbox exclusive games will be on all platforms, Phil Spencer will quit just like major Nelson did
And no blessing, helldivers 2 will never come to Xbox.
Barett in the box is awesome, keep it going.
I want Nintendo to do two things with a new controller. They swap the A and B buttons and analog triggers.
Can’t wait for the Israeli Children’s Relief fund game sale!
For reference, Hall-effect sensors in joysticks: czcams.com/video/r8JnJnTAvMQ/video.htmlsi=yG-9wmL3qV3o-W41
People who like the Switch Pro controller don't actually try to use the joycons properly.
Since hellblade 2 is about to release then maybe have Ninja Theory have a crack at a Fallout Game
Fallout is not a walking simulator
honestly, and i really do mean this, fuck every controller nintendo has put out for the switch. i have had pro controllers, joy cons, everything in between just completely stop working properly. compare this to my playstation and xbox controllers that have lasted years. nintendo has zero excuse for how faulty their joysticks specifically are
I personally have never had a problem with my joycons or pro controllers. I think you just might be a bit unlucky or too rough with the hardware, but I wouldn't know either way.
@@Hydelsius joycon drift is such a common problem that nintendo started doing free replacements for it, so I honestly think you're very lucky if you never experience it. I got really bad drift on my pro controller from 2017, too
@@Hydelsius that’s awesome and i may be a bit rough with my hardware but i’m the same amount of rough with all of my controllers and yet nintendo’s are the ones that crap out the most and by a lot. hell i’ve even bought joy cons and right out the box the joy stick makes an annoying clicking noise just from turning it. it doesn’t help that they’re priced the same as the competitors either
@@aoBubs yeah my pro controller lasted barely a year before it got drift. it also saw maybe a fraction of the playtime as my dual shocks and those lasted triple the amount of time at least
I still use my pro controller i bought at launch in 2017. Still works fine and no drift...
Where's this week's Games Showdown? Canceled?

Good looking out
Sad seeing Nintendo crumbling like this. They're getting destroyed left right and center by ps5 pc handhelds and new iphone 15 pro
Nintendo Switch hardware outsells PS5 practically 3-to-1 and outsells PS5 software at nearly 12-to-1. Switch software itself has outsold Steam's entire software sales thrice over. Every tech reporter is also reporting the iPhone is a terrible gaming device, so its software prospects are abysmal.
The only conclusion that be reached from all this data tells the opposite, Nintendo is propping up this whole industry and towering over the competition. It took me only 5 minutes to verify this information, how poor was your research that you couldn't come to the same conclusion Mahmud?
@AREAlhero stellar blade alone has obliterated every Nintendo IPs right now mahmud so keep coping mahmud
@@Rizky-Gumilar Nope! Stellar Blade currently has an 82 on Metacritic, and browsing just the first party Nintendo published games released on Switch there are 45 whose scores are higher than Stellar Blade's. Saleswise, Stellar Blade has no official numbers right now, so lets generously assume it sold 2 million and see where that ranks it? There are currently 50 1st party Nintendo published Switch games that have sold more than 2 million.
I, nor any reasonable person, would call a game that is outrated and outsold by 50 others "obliterating" anything. The facts quite simply do not back it up Mahmud. You can try coping all you want, but it is what it is my dude. The fortress of Nintendo remains untoppled.
@@AREAlhero stop crying mahmud bandai namco from software sega atlus konami capcom arc system work snk neo geo nihon falcom square enix chinese devs korean devs and others prefer making exclusive AAA modern hyper realistic cinematic graphics mature complex games for ps not Nintendo mahmud cope harder mahmud
@@Rizky-Gumilar Wow who forgot to change your diaper! I just proved your points wrong no need to throw a tantrum there lil bro. Just keep huffing your copium Mahmud, things are going to be okay :)
Could we get less Greg?
