Dude, you have saved me from so much anxiety about using these for my 14mm lense. I found your comment on B&H and came here to watch. Thank you, so much!
Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
This is the best review of this style of ND filter. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for making more sense on these!!!
Glad to hear that. And happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
Great video - the best instruction I have seen on how to install these filters. Thanks!
Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
Thank you for this tutorial! Very helpful!
Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
Awesome video!, thanks
Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
With the a7IV, there's the option to cover the sensor with the shutter when powered off ........ and then install this filter in front of that.
Thanks very much for this , was considering getting a couple of these for my Sony A7iii …. I’ll get a UV first I think and give it a go !
Yeah they are awesome. Happy to help. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏
They're such a great idea. My only withdrawal is that out in the field is this not a little bit fiddly compared to screwing on a variable. Definitely an incredible move if your priority is space, weight and you Definitely have the time tho
Amazing review, mate. Came here from B&H as saw what you said there. Might get the MCUV just for lens protection for that naked sensor of the a7S III or might go for the Kolari ones. These seem to be very tight and neat and Kolari one seems to be reliant on the magnet which can be knocked off while offroading with my car.
Yeah I definitely recommend these. They are amazing and have worked amazingly well
Hi! Does this filter works with the shutter being close?
Which filters do you recommend for a canon r6?
AF seems to struggle in my A7III, the 10 stop filter prevents my camera from properly AF.
Excellent presentation Mr. Doubt! The side-by-side at 8:40 is very useful. I really like the idea of having a UV on the sensor at all times since I change lens more than I like to have the sensor exposed.
I am buying these!
They are awesome. Just make sure you install them as I have shown in the video. Happy shooting 🙌 Thanks for watching 🙏
@@DoubtMeTech I received them and installed correctly they are frikken awesome.
@@runningwithscissors3280 happy to hear that! Glad to help
hey bro would this work on the sony a7r5 ? the a7r5 has this feature where it has a lid that closes and covers the sensor . also can you do burst photos with this in there ?
I believe it fits fine without any issues
👍👍
🙏🙏
Does the shutter not work after putting this on? Maybe you covered this but i didn't have time to watch it all.
This doesn't affect the shutter at all
Your link goes to an amazon link for the A7III, do you have a proper link for the A7IV ? Looks like you are using an A7IV... Thanks! Pretty sure they are different sensors.
All the Sony full frame cameras use the same size sensor so these will fit on your full frame camera
What about on the AR5?
Sir i have sony fx30 so does it support to fx30 also if not which one I should buy , Please sir I need ND ?
The FX30 is not a full frame sensor. These only work with full frame sensors
@@DoubtMeTech So what is other way to use ND in fx30 ?
@@CaravanMovies you cannot unfortunately
@@DoubtMeTech Oh so sad
is this safe to use with the anti dust feature on the A7iv
I'll look into that later this week
Nice invention but it is really hard to use it on the go.
Definitely something you would have to plan ahead of time and try to install them before a shoot.
Does it come with the case?
Yes, the set of 4 filters does come with the case
Hi do you have link for sony a7iv
For the camera? Yeah, here's the link: amzn.to/3S13scx
These filters work great on the a7 IV.
@@DoubtMeTech sorry sir the L bracket ❤️ ihave a7iv im looking dmfor a month like on your camera
Sorry, but after one fell into the lens barrel and broke I will never trust these filters again. Putting it into the camera text side towards the sensor is so not intuitive. And I didn't see anything about doing that in the provided (very minimal) data. I know of at least two other similar brands that appear better made.
Unfortunately they don't include a good manual with the package, but if you follow my steps, it should never fall into the sensor. I've used it many times now and they work amazingly well
Which clip in filters do you like better?
I haven't handled these myself but after watching this video it seems that placing the filters in text-to-sensor would let your nail/pick catch the lip for easier removal. Everything else about the filters looks symmetrical, though, and I didn't hear any explanation about what would physically make them more secure if installed this way. Does the lip stick out further than the rest of the frame? If so, maybe that prevents it from clicking into place completely? Another thought--maybe cold temps cause the material to contract slightly and become loose? It would be great to hear from Kase or others on this.
@@stephendecker9511 there is a slight resistance in the top corners that look like tiny push in rubber buttons. Hard to explain, but when installed correctly, they press against the border, thus holding them firmly in place without any wiggle room whatsoever. If you install them incorrectly, they don't press against the border, thus leaving them loose to move around.
@@DoubtMeTech great to have that info, thanks!
too much work just to put on and take it off.
It takes less than a minute. The video tutorial took long because I had to be extremely clear so ppl don't mess up, LOL, but it's simple and easy
