"We have packaging, and we have ingredients" is certainly the barest minimum I've ever heard for a food product
Still missing "it is edible" though 😂
AND AN EXPIRATION DATE! You go girl, give us nothing.
Best comment\thread I've laughed out loud at in awhile! 🤣
"Doesn't contain botolinum toxin" would be an improvement.
That'd be like if a band showed up to a gig, didn't rehearse, brought one guitar and a single drumstick and said, "Well at least we showed up and brought instruments. 🤷🏻♂️"
Because of Chef Pii's attitude n how she treated people I refuse to support. The new fake smile won't work. My money won't ever go to her.
THIS. Also, the lengths she's gone to to cover up how irresponsible she was about shipping a food product safely. That fake FDA agent stunt speaks volumes about what kind of person she is.
I'm pretty sure it's a whole new recipe anyways. I'm sure Dave fixed a lot of it because a lot of things about this new sauce honestly just doesn't add up in my opinion.
Also, the color is never the same. Lol. But more so how irrogant her attacks are. She's not changed. The fake smile is just to sell product.
I wanted to like this 100 times. 😊
Same.
Her appearance on the talk show is what made me stop looking at her as someone with a fun idea but a poor execution and start viewing her as a bad business owner that doesn’t deserve support. If the sauce isn’t pink anymore there isn’t anything interesting about it and once the hype dies down she’ll lose her time in the spotlight-she didn’t deserve it anyway.
she will eat her own words " you're just not special"
When she had the condescending tone when explaining that the FDA has reason to be involved, "The pink sauce is not a medical product. The pink sauce don't contribute to your health. I never said that, did I?"... that was when I knew she was a bad business owner.
She was at minimum too stupid and dismissive about the basics of the business.
That show appearance just solidified what a trash personality she has.
@@crystalhazer7246 Ah, yes, the FOOD and drug administration, only deals with medical products, obviously. If she knows about the medical aspect I refuse to believe she has the level of ignorance required to not know about the food side as well. And if she truly is that ignorant? She shouldn't be making food products.
that was a bad look for her and even worse for the talk show host
you couldnt tell before she went on the show the show to me just made bad person worse and showed what type of people supported this delusional and irresponsible behavior and i knew from the moment the host opened his mouth what kind of s&T^ show it was going to be
I refuse to call her a chef. She isn't one. A chef would never ever serve something that could potentially make someone sick. They also know what the fda is.
You need to watch hells kitchen.
This..... can we see some "chef " credentials please??? Cause right now she's just a fake cardi b
Apparently by “private chef” she meant that after her suggestion/joke her friend hired her even though she has no cheffing experience. So yeah, don’t even bother calling her a chef because she’s not one.
@@Leviatiemily No chefs on Hells Kitchen.
Except for the owner who is running the show of course.
The rest are hoping to BE chefs.
So, is this just a prod or you a fanboy?
I'm over Chef P.
She's so determined to be successful it seems she's willing to endanger people to do so. For me personally, I would prefer if she stuck to ventures that don't involve food or anything else that could make someone sick or otherwise endanger them.
And this is just my read, but I feel like she'd be terrible to work for. One of those bosses who doesn't care how things get done as long as she likes the bottom line.
My only disagreement is that she's determined. If she were determined, she'd put in the work. She's entitled and too lazy to be safe about it, which would likely cause a similarly awful kind of boss
I’d say more determined to make money. She probably would’ve been fine if she sold mix to make the sauce. But she would rather cut corners to maintain some viral success.
@@IllumiToddy that’s a really good point, it would basically be powdered ranch packets but with some dye.
@@sourgreendolly7685 honestly, I think we’re in agreement. I don’t think she’s loyal to her customers or determined to build a business the right way. She’s loyal to herself and determined to be rich and famous regardless of the quality of her work
If she gave a recipe for her sauce in the original TikTok, I doubt anyone would remember her the next day. People want to buy Pink Sauce only because they don't know how it tastes and P knows it. It's a hustle, nothing more. She is trying to make money on something, that food bloggers post for free 3 times a day.
I don't understand why they're not using beetroots in the sauce? It's natural, and it stains like crazy - it's commonly used instead of food colouring.
It just feels really weird to sell something called "Pink Sauce" that went viral for being PINK, when it's literally orange/yellow/tan.
From what I've seen is people saying the beets have a bit of an overpowering taste that isn't always liked. However there's also cranberries that have a stronger and more consistent colouring than dragon fruit. I feel like dragon fruit was the mistake here
@@helainanatasha7496 beets are incredibly mild. Dragon fruit can be dehydrated into just a powder which removes the fruity flavor.
Because beets have an incredibly earthy taste, and doesn’t sound as exotic as dragonfruit/pitaya. People were paying for this cool save with a superfood ingredient, and they probably didn’t do enough research to find out if customers would be okay if some/ all of the coloring came from another source.
Because the ingredient used is stabilizer.. well in theory, like mustard and homemade oil mayo
@@helainanatasha7496 You can prepare beets in a way that makes them close to tasteless, actually!! ((: It also REALLY depends on the type of beetroots. Dragon fruit was a bad idea for colouring though, I do agree with that. It varies too much.
I'ma preface this as I'm a molecular biologist who uses a lot of pigments from fruits and veg in their research as indicators etc. I think the reason its gone a different colour is because the betalain pigment that is in pink dragonfruit which was used to make it "pink" is unstable. Heat treatment, acidity, UV light, Sunlight etc all cause it to break down. Whatever they have done in the manufacturing process to make the product shelf stabilise the product has damaged the pigment.
How to Cook That did some experiments and figured out the original sauce and mentioned that the dragon fruit faded to an apricot colour when stored for a bit. The assumption I have is that Pii is showcasing the sauce when it’s freshly bottled, but the bottles being received are obviously not fresh.
She would honestly be better off supplementing with a bit of beet root to give it a more stable color
Came here to say something similar, but with a lot less expertise on my part. Well done, much appreciated comment.
Do you believe that she coloured it with only Dragon fruit originally? It looked such a hot pink I assumed she'd used food colouring.
@@hannahbeanies8855 would be more cheap too than dragonfruit
The way that she has handled an actual honest review that was not degrading is all I need to know about her as a business owner at best.
100%. At this point, her own actions ruined her business for her. She can be in denial, and claim that every criticism is hate, but it was her own actions that gave her a bad reputation. I find it hard to believe anyone would give her a second chance after all she has done.
tbh the problem I have with all this pink sauce issue is that she didn't really acknowledge the mismanagement on her side, or the actual dangers she could've put people in. The main problem is not that things didn't go perfect or that there's "haters". If she said that she got excited about the virality of the sauce and rushed to produce and ship too fast without taking proper care of things; then announced that she'll collaborated with a company that specializes in sauce etc etc. People would be more supportive. But she's mainly just attacking people for criticizing the things that were actually wrong.
Also, drama or not the videos of sauce dripping all over gross me out
I'm pretty sure she knows the dangers she could put people in but she just doesn't care. 😗
She does the whole "I'm sorry for what I did BUT" and says a bunch of things to like to defend herself or make people feel bad for criticizing her. It's so clearly disingenuous
It grosses me out too! How were people looking at that thinking "yum! I wanna try that!", just big bites of gross sauce 🤢🤮
I’m glad she apologized tho but the big problem is that she doesn’t know basic food safety and hazards so yeahhhh…I would be scared to eat anything she makes even if she’s working with a big company. Imagine not knowing what FDA stands for or how food allergies work. Idk after that I wouldn’t trust her with food.
She had NO IDEA what F in the FDA was for.
She did way more than just rush into production, there was no intelligence behind her business from the jump.
Ally didn’t even say it was bad. She just said it wasn’t for her. That’s the crazy part.
There were far worse reviews that incriminated the sauce, and Pii, further
I feel so bad for her. I think she was being harassed because she did kinda walk back from her original statements.
Anne from How to Cook That is a food scientist and analyzed the ingredients and claims, and explained a bunch of things about it. It was a really complete and unbiased video. Super recommend it
Second this, it was a fantastic video and enlightening.
Love Anne!
I love how to cook that!
I was coming down to the comments to refer people to this same video.
i love that channel
All they had to do was add food coloring 😭
That's what I'm thinking. Could they not use red 40 like every other company that makes red food products??
@@peach6779 beetles
I feel like the company that's making them now wouldve tried everything to make it safe to consume and pink. If he decided it wasn't worth it, then it probably wasn't
Edit: on that note they could've switch the dragon fruit to a fruit with more natural colouring like cranberries or beets
@@bunaynayslay lice, not beetles
Or just a bit of red beet juice would have kept that color a vibrant pink without having to use food coloring if she’s still trying to be “natural” with her sauce
Also here is a legit pink sauce recipe you can make at home:
1 cup Mayo (preferably dukes)
1-2 tsp lemon juice
Some garlic powder
Dill pickles and dill pickle juice (as much as you like)
MIX.
Add red food coloring until you get a pink hue.
There you go. You have a delicious pink sauce that goes on pretty much everything.
And I can tell you what it tastes like. It tastes like tartar sauce.
Yes. I will be making it myself.
The pink sauce that was in my house as a child was literally Mayo and Ketchup in whatever ratio felt right at the time it’s pink in color with no food dye and tastes like mayo and ketchup combined
@@aluth727 mine looked more peach then pink when we did that.
m
@@aluth727 in Utah that’s called Fry Sauce lol.
“The sauce has an expiration date! Fvck yeah!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The best part of the video. ASMR eating is soooo gross. I can’t believe people watch that🤢🤮
They have to be less evolved or something lmao. I lose all respect for someone if they say they listen to that disgusting shit
Omg, soooooo disgusting!!

agreed, it was so uncomfortable
I'm from Kansas City, KS and we've had our own pink sauce here for over 20 years. It's an amazing salad dressing called ' The Pink Stuff '. It was originally from a local pizza shoppe and when the family decided to sell their businesses there was such a high demand for their house dressing that it's been in damn near every grocery store in the city and surrounding areas ever since. I've had to send this to family and friends worldwide for years. It's also ACTUALLY pink. Not Pepto pink, but It's a baby girl kinda pink.
That sounds so good
@@amandapanda5087 it's a really creamy garlic flavored salad dressing.,,, It's so yummy.
wow - looked it up and its at most 8 bucks and available at grocery chains and even some sellers on amazon. What the heck?? This is the pink sauce people want and need!
Get them viral!!!
Yeah we have it here in southwest Mo as well.
To answer your question of "whats making it explode" in the first release. Certain foods, when spoiled, produce gas. And according to her old ingredients label, it contained milk. So imagine shipping something with milk without proper preservatives and temperature control in sweltering heat.
Peak heat of summer too. She is disgusting
Here in South Africa, "pink sauce " has been around since the 70s. One of our OG steakhouse franchises, Spur, made it. Everyone would ask for pink sauce and use it as salad dressing or to dip your chips.
It's really not such a secret sauce, and it's pretty easy to make yourself, but it really is not PINK ... mix together mayo, ketchup, and add sugar or sweetener until it reaches the consistency and taste YOU like. I worked at a playschool in the late 90s, and the kids would make their own pink sauce.. if a group of 4 year Olds could make their own pink sauce, you can too.
yeah in my house we don't eat food that we would have the sauce with often so on the odd occasion when we do we just make it ourselves in like 5 min
@@courtenayrhoodie812 and you know what you are putting into your body!
The color thing is such an easy fix there’s really no excuse at this point for the inconsistencies
444 servings… but she was pouring loads of it on her food. I’d like to know where in the world she thought that was a good estimate. I think that sauce will sell out a couple of times so the curious can taste and the CZcamsrs, Instagrammers, and TikTokers can post a reaction. I doubt there will be a single person buying this after that. I definitely think she just put food coloring in ranch before. Absolutely not interested in trying it. I think there was genuine interest initially from people because of the color, now it’s only because of the drama surrounding it.
She has explained that there were 444 grams in each bottle and they got that mixed up with serving size. She did not explain why no one gave it a quick proof-reading before shipping it off to people.
@@lilliematthews7922 Ohh, that makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification! ☺️
I'm pretty sure she just put food colouring in ranch. It's an old trick to make kids want to try new foods, so it's not like it wouldn't work. That sauce looked beyond naturally pink, no way she made that from scratch.
@@caitthecat Definitely! Probably knew it would go viral.
You should watch Anne’s video on How to Cook That. She replicated it and used dragon fruit and it also accounted for the color changing from hot pink to a softer pink.
I feel like she could've also had a filter on the original pink sauce to get it to that color and now she can't take it back bc that's what blew her up.
listen .... i'm gunna' need everybody to stop insulting the profession by calling this woman "Chef" Pii.
*i'm just in culinary SCHOOL and I'm insulted.....*
😩😭🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Louder for the folks in the back!
Technially speaking you do NOT did to fo to culinary school to be a chef. In fact many of the best chefs in the world never went.
@@EighmyLupin
O1. IDK what in the world you're typing or trying to say in that first sentence. somehow i understand what you mean but wow.
O2. anyway , i didn't say that you're only a chef when you go to , or went to culinary school. i know you can be a chef regardless of that. my point was saying that SHE is not a chef and shouldn't be considered one based on THIS being her cooking "skills."
she sure as hell a ain't "over qualified" , shit , she not even qualified AT ALL to even THINK about calling herself "a chef."
that's just insulting to all of us who have that passion , that talent towards cooking , her associating ANY part of her with that word.
As to the colouration it's really just due to the dragon fruit powder losing colour over time, I saw it when I added Tumeric to my slime for colour as it was bright yellow and then dulled down to almost white over time.
The channel How to Cook That, actually made a successful recipe using only the ingredients used on Chef Pii's original label, highly suggest watching that, her sauce also started bright pink but dulled down to what she described as an apricot colour over time.
Yeah but the label says dragon fruit purée
@homestargirl I’m so confused what you’re adding to this comment
@@Free.zen. they’re not using the powder, they are using a purée. It’s going to act differently.
Ann Reardon "How to cook that" She tested the recipe and because it's made with dragon fruit when it's first made its pink, but the colour changes to orange/yellow the longer it's kept.
Lol I came here to comment the same
… how much sauce and ingredients did Chef Pii waste just to continuously making her sauce for TikTok’s if it turns yellow after being kept.
What worries me was how the new and improved version turns yellowish in color, but the first ones sent out were still pink, just less neon pink. The new bottles shouldn't be held onto so much longer that they've all gone yellow
I highly reccommend checking out How to cook that's video on the pink sauce. She explains quite a few things including the color changing and how most likely the suace would not give people botulism. It's a really informative video for any one curious
Yes, this! I really think people claiming botulism need to lookout because they're starting to sound libelous...
@@NenaKPlans yeah, i can understand where the concern came from but it was baseless
Yes exactly! there's plenty to criticize her for outside of that
The truth, it's in the Sauce 🤣✌️
I see what you did there 😂😂😂
Definitely recommend How To Cook That’s video on the pink sauce! She’s some kind of food scientist and there’s loads of info there she’s found out
Hi Markie ! Sorry it’s been rough lately, take a break if you need to ! We will always be here ! Your channel is my favorite honestly
That talk show she was on, was the end, as far as I was concerned. She tried to gloss over all of the really bad things that happened, like her shipping it in the wrong shipping package and how people were getting their sauces in a state where the bottles had blown up and down played how there was a sparkle found in one bottle of sauce. She proved, at least in my own personal opinion, that she is just not trustworthy.
Love how confidently Markie mispronounces Karamo's name every time asdfsdfgsdfs
After Karamo's lack of research and ownership, it's what he deserves 😂
How do you pronounce it?
@@DrT0705 kuh-rar-mo if that makes sense. the second syllable is the one stressed, i think
@@DrT0705 Kah-RAH-Moe. Say it really sharply and syncopated like a cheerleader would. Each syllable gets its due. Markie seems to be saying it like Carra-Moe, almost like Caribou. It doesn’t matter though, Im not a fan of Karamo any more, but I guess I still believe that everyone deserves to have their name pronounced correctly, if nothing else.
Dragonfruit changes color from pink when fresh to more apricoty as it rests. You should watch HTCT's Ann Reardon video on the topic - she basically recreated it just based on listed ingredients. Fascinating. She basically debunked most drama when it comes to food part of this topic, but agreed that chef pii is bad when it comes to customers and advertising.
What wasn't addressed was that early batches listed milk as an ingredient, which is what was going bad when not refrigerated and causing the bottles to swell even when sealed.
She did a great job but she didn't address the milk or the fact that while low acid foods are inhospitable to the botulism bacteria and inhibits growth, any that's *already* present will stay present. Meaning if her raw garlic and honey were not prepared properly or pasteurized, the sauce could still cause botulism in susceptible people.
@@erin9868
"Low acid food" and now that she'd got her 2.0, suddenly it seems more like a vinegarette? That jumped out at me
Edit: spelling
@@catelynh1020 oh my gosh. I didn't even make that connection. Wow, good catch. I wonder if her original recipe wasn't even very acidic at all.
@@erin9868 there’s also a large tub of white substance as well as other unlisted ingredients in one of Pii’s sauce making video that Ann doesn’t address as well.
From my understanding the color comes from using dragon fruit. I make a smoothie using dragon fruit and depending on how much dragon fruit you put in the smoothie, it can come out to a pale peach color to a very bright pink. Still won’t be try this sauce though.
but shouldn't the amount of dragon fruit not vary?......
@@merautu technically the fruit comes in both white and red varieties. I don't think the taste varies, but it would be weird to not make sure to get the correct color of fruit seeing how that's her sauce's claim to fame.
The chemical in the fruit that causes that pink color does not hold long though, and that’s why the color kept changing. Dragon fruit can definitely be pink, but that pink isn’t going to last in a product over weeks. If she were to use a bit of red beet it would probably not change the taste but would give it a pink color that would last during the shipping process.
The only Pink Sauce I'm willing to eat was the one I've always known: Ketchup+Mayo.
Ann Reardon did a video on the Pink Sauce and she found out that the Dragonfruit powder can give it that pink color , but for whatever reason it loses the color over time. (which explains the shifting in colors in Chef Pi's videos).
However now that other people are making it why aren't they using a more stable form a coloring instead?
another pink sauce special 😭😭
Sadly...
Awwww I like him. He’s not dramatic and it makes my heart happy ❤️
Hang in there ! Take a break, cuddle the dog, laugh at fail videos, and breathe! We will be here if you need a break!!
A cooking channel did a deep dive into the ingredients and claims of pink sauce. They found it’s too acidic to possibly give you botulism. Also, there’s a chance the original recipe could have been done with dragonfruit as the binder because of you emulsify it with the oil it becomes the binder. It was a good video!
How to cook that.
Yeah she uses dragon fruit powder. I think since she makes it at home it's way more vibrant. Going through a machine with other ingredients and chemicals your not gonna get that color. Shame...

The fact you quickly skipped the ASMR review one. Makes me love you and this Channel even more.
*Watch the video by Ann of How To Cook That.* It explains how the Pink Sauce, dyed by the natural composition of dragonfruit compounds, can destabilize over time. That's why the color changes. 🙂 Ann is really good at explaining how the original list of ingredients can actually be made into the sauce.

Definitely check out How to Cook That's video about the Pink sauce - a food scientist recreated the pink sauce EASILY based on the labeled ingredients and showed that the product is actually shelf stable, and the issues people had were mostly due to packaging. It really have a fair and balanced view of the whole debacle.
My guess though is that the creator of this video already knows this, but if chef Pii is a reasonable individual with a decent product, there goes all his viral content...
Not all batches were shelf stable. You can see the labels for early batches listing milk as an ingredient. That not being refrigerated and sent out in heat will cause issues and bacteria to build (doesn't have to be botulism, but definitely something ya don't wanna eat). Not sure when the milk was removed though.
Hi Markie. Watch the 'How to cook that' channel, Ann Reardon goes step by step with this sauce and even makes it with the labelled ingredients. It does take some experimenting to find the base (not mayonnaise) but she did it.
What I still don't understand is the fact that "chef" Pii is clearly using some kind of magenta food coloring in the sauce that she uses in her videos, which is literally defined by being food safe, so why wouldn't Dave's Gourmet use the same food coloring to make their updated sauce equally as pink? It seems like such a simple solution to the color issue.
My only thought is maybe it's because she doesn't want people to see it in the ingredients now because she lied about it before. Just a guess though.
actually, if you watch "how to cook that" it shows not only how to make an extremely pink sauce using dragonfruit, but how the color fades from bright pink to an apricot over time.
Mines was pink
@@hurtspublishing3906 like a hot pink, or the lighter pink?
It literally IS false advertising.
Hang in there! You’re doing great and I appreciate your honesty and all your videos.
To be honest I think the only reason it sold out was because people wanted to compare it to the original Pink Sauce to see if she actually listened to the feedback and taken the steps to improve her product. But I don't think it's the type of sauce that will keep selling out.
I work food service and ranch and raspberry vinaigrette taste /VERY/ different. I think it's obvious though; as it's quite obvious just in the name. I mention it because I'm wondering if she's getting away with such a vast difference in flavor. I know that lady who debunks food hacks did a video trying to see how she did it without food coloring but I'm really thinking she (chef pi) just. Dumped certain amounts of food coloring into each thing of sauce, leading to the vastly different colors and flavors. There'd have to be completely different ingredients at this rate right ?
(also i feel the same way about eating asmr. I have misophonia and just try to avoid it in general because chewing sounds especially make me hyuck)
Hey Callum, I’m sorry that CZcams has been hating you recently. I watched the video yesterday and when I went back to your channel I noticed it was off and thought to myself “oh no, they got him again”. I hope this video is able to stay up longer and it goes better for the rest of the month but I definitely learned that the moment I see a notification that you posted I should watch it right away 😂
How To Cook That did a really good video about the Pink Sauce... the color changes due to oxidization of the sauce, there were some others things you were wrong about too.
Before we know it this pink sauce is gonna cause a sunset overdrive apocalypse
Hey, Markie, it's ok! I would be really upset if I experienced what's happening to you right now. Take a break if you need to, we'll be here for you when you get back! Don't make a video just because you feel like you have to! I know you've probably become numb to these comments by now but I thought I'd try to help anyway! Stay safe!
Heey i'm glad that i got to watch all the videos and also wanted to suggest that you can watch Ann Reardon (how to cook that) video about the pink sauce, she is a food scientist and did review this product.
I saw a video on the How to Cook That channel fact checking claims about the pink sauce (it's not defending chef P, it's very objective). The sauce seems changes color over time so that might be why hers is different than the people who had it shipped.
Agreed, it is without bias.
Not only did it not follow fda guidelines, the maker of it DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE FDA WAS
I will never be over that clip of her acting like it's a dumb thing to ask her 😂
I recommend watching Ann Reardon’s video on this sauce in her channel How To Cook That, apparently the sauce is bright pink when it’s made and then the color fades over the next few days as it’s kept refrigerated. Not to defend this whole situation, not a Chef Pii fan, but Ann’s video is very good on debunking claims from all different perspectives
I'm starting my own company that turns ALL sauces pink.....it's called food coloring. Great idea if you want to invest😁
I didn’t notice that your video was out of sync yesterday. I’m so sorry that you’re having a rough week, especially at the end of Q4 when numbers are really important.
BTW; I suspect chef P is using food grade food coloring in her own sauce. I use it in my baking and it’s really concentrated. Much more than what you can purchase at the grocery store.

Great vid ! I wonder if Victoria Secret cares that Pink name is being used for a product that isn’t their own 🤔
You can’t trademark a generic color name, at least not by itself. That’s why Pink the musical artist was marketed as “P!nk”, as well as “Victoria’s Secret PINK”.
Sorry for the stress your going through!! I love your videos and you do a great job 😊
"Pink Sauce: Now 50% less exploding."
As someone with absolutely no cooking experience past making food at home with a little time I could probably make the pink sauce pink without food coloring bottles. It doesn’t take a genius to make a sauce.
I found your channel recently you seem very genuine I hope the problems with uploading doesn't stop you you'll go far top lad
I think the learning is on your part. Lol actually it's the learning on yours karamo
I watch "How to Cook That" and Ann did some experiments with the ingredients, and she did make a creamy lookin' sauce with want was listed.
I don't cook with dragonfruit, usually just eat it or blend it into a smoothie...and mine are always the white ones. Wonder if there is a taste difference?
Also, since I don't know, I wonder if the pink color fades or changes color after cooking or just with oxidizing...
I mean people cook with beets all the time and know how that reacts, but I don't hear much about cooking with dragon fruit. So...maybe the color change is normal? 🤔
Still not all the interested in trying it, tbh.
And how you gonna call it pink sauce when its skin coloured🌚
Skin color if you're jaundiced 🤣
If you want to learn a bit more about the pink sauce Ann Reardon, a food scientist, has actually debunked a lot of the rumors going around about it on her channel, How to Cook That, including why the color changes so drastically

Yup. In the US food labels have ingredients listed from most to least. That could be the fruity taste people are talking about but
@@sourgreendolly7685 based on the other top ingredients I just find it hard to believe that dragonfruit purée is the number one
I still think that the original pink sauce for chef P was Pepto-Bismol and she did just send out some homemade ranch with pink food coloring.
the video wasn’t out of sync for me which is so funny because HOW are ppl seeing the same video different 😭
I'm so mentally invested in this pink sauce saga and I have no idea why! I'm blaming markie no other explanation I can think of!
7:08 "How to Cook That" answered this, Pii's sauce is so bright pink because it's fresh. The bottled version pales to orange and yellow because the Dragon Fruit used to make the sauce pales over just a few days time. You'll never see it that pink unless they start adding artificial dyes.
And Ann Reardon just made a video definitely Chef P's original Pink Sauce..... Terrible job Chef P
Sorry you’ve had a sh1t time with YT. But we are hardcore and will patiently wait. ❤️ from a northerner. X
Markie, I've seen alot of CZcamsrs have trouble with their videos being in sync on everything but when they upload.
Sorry you've been having issues!
The video was not in sync for me yesterday 😭 great video anyway! Hopefully things can get resolved for you so you can continue uploading ☺️!
Ann Reardon with How To Cook That did a really interesting video on truths and misrepresentations on the pink sauce the other day. She's a food scientist so she also explained the Botulism thing and she figured out how you can get the texture and bright color using only the ingredients. So to be fair, it turns out Botulism isn't likely a worry due to the acidification from other ingredients which make the garlic safe, and you CAN get it that pink. I recommend people watch the video... she's very thorough 😀
This is, by the way, NOT me endorsing it defending Chef Pii. I don't like Chef Pii at all and I get really heated in just about every comment I leave because I get so mad at her gaslighting and ignorance and entitlement and overall egoistic, rude ass behavior. But I just want to be fair with the information that I've learned from Ann since there are enough issues with the whole thing without those 2 parts we were all confused by.
Since Ann was able to make the dressing at least somewhat stable using fresh dragonfruit and I forget what liquid she blended it with, water maybe?, I think it's possible in small batches to make it look like the original viral version, but I wonder if it's not possible to manufacture it the same way on a large scale? I would have to watch the video again but I remember she tried multiple times and it wasn't working until she figured out the right way which included having to very slowly enter one of the ingredients. I'm not sure in the big production factory places if they can properly slowly add something since a lot of the making of videos I've seen seemed to have ingredients kind of thrown in all at once.
Anyway thanks for the video! I didn't realize the sauce was already out and I didn't know the feedback on it. Now that I know it's vegan for sure I'm not sure if I will or won't try it. I am really curious how it went from containing milk to now being vegan... I don't have any intention of supporting P but I may or may not at some point ever in the future yet one bottle to try it just to support a company at least trying to make it more stable and safe even though I think they also are using this as a bit of a money grab.... But at least it's a safe moneygrab unlike hers. Right now I don't think I'll ever end up getting a bottle though. Maybe if they made a really tiny one so I could try it without wasting a lot of product if I don't like it. And if I do like it Then I guess that's good and it all works out But I'm still not gonna like or ever trust P until she adjusts her behavior.
As a side note I'm really sorry to hear about all the video problems you've been having! Weirdly even in this video 2 places the image briefly froze and then caught up. That may be my internet issue though and it didn't put anything out of sync overall so no big deal. I wouldn't have even mentioned it if you hadn't given the background on other issues you've had.
I did miss some of your recent videos although idk if it's because youtube didn't share it properly or if it's more because I am subscribed to literally hundreds of channels across a ton of topics and it depends on my mood as to whether I'll be watching commentary videos one day vs video games vs art vs true crime vs etc on other days. So I think it did show me your videos for the most part but I just hadn't had the right mindset to watch yet. I'm gonna go watch them all now though to help out 😀
I'm sorry for all the frustration but thank you for continuing to work at it to make and release videos here 😀
Might as well put pink dye in it already 😅
I watched how to cook that, and they explained the dragon fruits color fades after a few days. She’s probably either using it fresh off the line, or added fresh made pink sauce to the bottle. The product probably would sell better if they just added food coloring to keep the bright pink color.
Keep your head up like you are and keep going! You are amazing! Happy I got to see the video!
hey nice video but maybe you should watch a video from "how to cook that" she also made a video about the pink sauce and talks about how it can change color over time. But very fun video !!!
she literally could have just made pink food coloured ranch in the first place and sold it for like $6 and people would have bought it 🧍🏼♀️ and there would be no problems
if you watch the video from " how to cook that " about the pink sauce she explains why the color changes when she tried to recreate it among other facts about it
Lol I thought the point was for it to be pink 😂😂
I just watch these for your voice. Speak into my void! 😭
I really forgot about her to be honest 🤣
That talk show host was 100% trying to turn it into a race thing and he got mad when it didn't work.
Please re-release the video if you can! I stared watching it yesterday, but had to stop because I had stuff to do, and when I came back it was gone 😭 I was really looking forward to it!
If her first sauce was just repackaged ranch with dye, it'd make sense as to why the bottles exploded. Open a bottle of ranch, close it, then stick it in the sun in a hot day. That thing goes bad and expands pretty quick. And from what I've gathered her sauce wasn't in an insulated package when shipped. So she probably bought cheap ranch from the store, added pink dye, then put it in a new bottle and sent it out
