If you could make two pockets, one shorter than the other you could incorporate your crochet hooks in the same pouch and have everything in one place. Thanks for all your good ideas.

I love your tutorials. They are brilliant and always keep me inspired. Something I have done on a few placemats and other bits and bobs I have sewn when I want that 1/2 inch highlighted fabric on each end is to make the fabric you want as the highlighted fabric 1in longer than the other fabric. Then you sew the ends together, flatten it out making sure its even on both sides and then give either a quick press or use a roller or something just to flatten it out then sew the sides. This gives you the same look as turning down that 1/2 inch and its a tad thinner so when you roll it there would be less bulk. Let me know if you try this on anything and if you like how it works. It’s probably less streamlined than what you do but its just another way to get the same look. 😊. Hope your hand is healing well. Cant wait for your next video. I always look forward to them.

Thanks MK. The last needle pouch I made was using the method you have mentioned. When I cut the fabric out for this one, I forgot to make allowances for the foldover. The other option I could have used with the fabric being the same size, is to offset both ends by about 1/2" or so after stitching the top and bottom together, then placing the stabiliser on one side, but I didn't think of that until it was too late. 😀

Just what I need to make a couple of them for all of my watercolour paint brushes and maybe one for my acrylic paint brushes.
    Thank you Christine 💖

Thank you! I made one of these for my grandson’s drum sticks. But, my oh my, mine was much harder to make! I will use this tutorial to make one for knitting needles for myself. Thank you for all your wonderful tutorials.

Here's hoping you had a fun Halloween!
This is a GREAT idea!! I've got my knitting needles and crochet hooks in a vinyl shoe rack that you hang on the door. This will keep them more tidy and keep them from falling out!!
