MJ has no equal. Here is some data for anyone interested in the truth.
    Jordan on Offense
30.1ppg for his career, most in NBA history
33.4ppg career playoffs average, most in NBA history
33.6ppg in 6 Finals appearances, most in NBA history
41.0ppg in a Finals series, most in NBA history
10 Scoring titles, most in NBA history
10 seasons with 2,000+ points, most in NBA history
    Jordan with advanced Analytics
PER (Player Efficiency Rating): Highest in history for both the regular season (27.91) and the playoffs. (28.6)
Win Shares per 48 (WS/48): Highest in history for both the regular season (.2505) and the playoffs (.2553)
Box plus Minus: Highest in history for both the regular season (9.22) and the playoffs (11.14)
VORP per Game: Highest in history for both the regular season (.1083) and the playoffs(.1382)
    Jordan on Defense
Jordan was the first player in history to be selected to 9 All Defensive First teams.
He was the first player in history to get 200 steals and 100 blocks in a season, it has still only been done by 3 players. (Michael did it twice).
He was the steals leader 3 times.
He's the only guard in history, relative to his position, both in the Top 5 for blocks and Top 5 for steals.
He was the defensive Player of the Year and Scoring Champion in the same year, the only player in history to accomplish this.
His 131 blocks for the 1988 season is still the most blocks in a season by a guard in NBA history.

People who didn't watch back then just don't get it, MJ did this stuff all night EVERY NIGHT ! It wasn't just one or 2 great games at a time, he performed like this every time he was on the court. He never quit , he never left a game early , and he was hard but never asked anyone on the team to do anything he wasn't willing to do himself. Anyone who wants proof of that just look at the "flu game" , 38 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

For the "Lebron is better" crew out there... Enjoy these stats and facts I put together for you -
      Michael Jordan has:
      •2 more rings
      •2 more final mvp's
      •1 more DPOY
      •1 more season MVP
      •9 more scoring titles
      •3 more steals leader
•3 more all defensive team selections
      •451 more steals
•Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10).
•Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals Lebron did it twice .
      •6/6 Finals (never allowed a game 7)
•Lebron had much more offensive help, example: Jordan never had a teammate average more than 22 points in the finals.. In fact, MJ is the only player in NBA history to lead a team to the championship with only one teammate averaging double figures in scoring * In the Bulls’ 1997 playoff run, Scottie Pippen averaged 19 points per game on 42% shooting. All other teammates of Jordan averaged under 8 points per game. Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26 with Lebron.
•MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
•MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
MJ accomplished all of this in 13 seasons Lebron after his 14th season, was STILL chasing the “ghost (GOAT) that played in Chicago”

•Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg. (86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics.

•Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.

•in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of at least 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
•the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%
      .
      •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
•MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
•MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%

•LeBron James has scored 30 points, 416 times in 1,117 games. Michael Jordan did it 562 times in 1,072 games.

Jordan won 6 championships without losing a final in 1,072 games and LeBron in 1,117 games had already lost 5 times and had only won 3 times.

•MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..

Seriously this list can keep going. This isn’t even a debate.
MJ is the GOAT. Michael Jordan: •NBA record 5 playoffs series’ averaging at least 40ppg

•Only player in history to lead league in scoring and win DPOY •
Highest scoring average, points per game, in any championship series: 41.0 vs. Phoenix Suns, 1993 NBA Finals

•Only rookie in NBA history to lead his team in four statistics (1984-85)

•Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring, win Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season (1987-88)

Only player in history to average at least 30pts 6reb 5assists And 2 steals per game AND HE DID IT 7 TIMES.

•Only player in NBA history to win Rookie of the Year (1984-85), Defensive Player of the Year (1987-88)
      NBA MVP (1987-88, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1995-96, 1997-98), All-Star MVP (1988, 1996, 1998), and Finals MVP (1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998)

•Only player in NBA history to lead the league in scoring and win the NBA championship MORE THAN ONCE in the same season * He did this SIX TIMES!! (1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98)

•One of two players in NBA history to score 3,000 points in a season: 3,041 points scored in 82 games played (37.1 ppg) (1986-87) * Wilt Chamberlain is the only other player to achieve this.

•MJ is also the only player in NBA history to score over 40 points at age 40, and he did it TWICE!

•In 1988, MJ earned: Dunk Champ, All Star Game MVP, NBA Scoring Title, League MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.

Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls: -10 scoring titles, -Won Defensive Player of the Year, -9 times all defensive team, -9time All NBA, -5 league MVPs -6 finals MVPs

Michael Jordan had done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career…

Jordan wasn’t selfish. He played the point for a stretch of games and got 10 triple doubles in 11 games. When Phil Jackson became the coach and implementation the triangle offense, he asked Scottie to play the point forward and Jordan to finish the plays with his scoring. MJ sacrificed his all around numbers to play in his coaches system. History has spun it as him being a ball hog though. When in reality, the triangle offense is based 100 percent on screens and ball movement. By the way. Jordan taught Scottie to play defense

12:04 You made an excellent point about the game being slower for Michael than it was for everybody else. One of the things that always use to amaze me was how he was able to anticipate the moves of the defenders and react to them in real time. That's actually why he switched hands in mid-air on that famour lay-up against the Lakers in the Finals. He saw Perkins on the right side of the rim making a move as if he was going to reach up to challenge the shot. So that's why jordan switched hands and laid the ball up on the other side of the rim. He was simply amazing to watch. And he did breath-taking plays every single night he played. If someone made a highlight reel of all of Jordan's amazing plays, it would literally be hours and hours long!

He did get a good amount of assists, obviously nothing like Magic who was a point guard. But look at the league at the time and his stats are more than comparable to other 2s and 3s of that era for assists. He was a freaking legit assassin though. When that clock was running low no one ever asked if he was afraid to take a shot or take a foul. If you are looking for a good video on passing check out White Chocolate. Jordan skill level was technically & fundamentally sound & he had counter moves on top of counter moves to any defense he went against. A beautiful game to watch but the pure drive to get better, the fearlessness of no opponent, over abundance of athletic ability & the KILLER INSTINCT was what made him have no weaknesses in his game. He was always thinking the game 2 to 3 plays ahead of everybody else on the floor. Its what all the greats in the game were able to do in their careers.

The truth when seeing it for the first time is revealing and mind-blowing. Their has been only one of Michael Jordan and no players have yet been able to be compared to him that includes Lebron James. Just a few of Michael Jordan highlights is more than many of players career highlights. Michael Jordan everyday had more highlights than every player in history. Abd I am a Dr.J fan.But I'm honest about it. Many guys can't admit it because of their hate for Michael Jordan. Size doesn't matter in this argument, but heart, desire, will to win, and skill, and leadership, and the ability to listen to your coaches do. This guy broke, raised the standards so high, and achieved so much that any other players would have to do it the same way or it just doesn't count the same way as Michael Jordan did. Their are no comparisons that match what Michael Jordan has accomplished his entire career. And the real second best is Kareem, with Kobe Bryant in third place, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird, Tim Duncan, all these guys past the real test of winners. Past the stats, and with their teams still had greater finals performances than Lebron James, which I have outside of the top five that I mentioned. You have had to do it on your own to be in the top five category. Lebron James has had way too much help to be in the conversation.

While they were on the court jordan was playing a "chess game" always 2 moves ahead...everyone else is playing a "checkers game" lol

I wouldn't say that necessarily... He was simply the most intense, soul-driven, and athletically gifted player maybe ever.
Larry Bird was the one who played it like chess. If Michael had the mind of Larry or vice-versa, lord that player would have been quite literally unstoppable.

I think the words you were looking for at the end were “I just saw a glimpse of the Greatest to ever do it”.

The same time Jordan was cementing himself as the G.O.A T. of basketball, the G.O.A.T. of Nascar was reiging Supreme - find yourself a best of mixtape of Dale Earnhardt Sr.

No one is on Jordan’s level when you look at these highlights. It’s not even comparable

pausing to say this at just before 5 min in.... if you watched Jordan you expected him to score everytime the ball touched his hands. He was that dominant....I'm 40 I watched this dude as a kid and he was incredible!

4.3 40, and 48 inch vertical on a 6'6" shooting guard... he was fast, could jump out of the gym, defended like a demon, could shoot from almost anywhere (3pt not as good), you can't stop that. Even if he was in the game today, he would still be quick enough and he'd just out work you every day. Man's work ethic was next level as well.

Realize two things. #1: This is a mix tape, and while it is thoroughly impressive, it's only a shadow of what MJ could do. #2: During the Jordan era, you could hand check. Imagine just for a second, if you will, that Jordan played with today's rules....let that sink in. Sorry brother, but any talk of LeChina James as the GOAT is just silly.

MJ has defensive player of the year honors. He won defensive and MVP in the same year as well. This still don’t do MJ justice. I saw him play in person and it was wonderful.

the fact you watched penny when you were younger tells me you may not be old enough to have actually seen Jordan in his prime anyway lol. you missed out. enjoy the highlight reels.

it may have taken 2 mins for you to see him pass the ball, but if you look at his accolades and stats, you will find he passed the ball quite often.

Your reaction at the end. - Exactly. Speechless and in awe. And NO ONE else made you look in total awe like you were watching something a human shouldn’t be able to do.

Imagine being 10 years old going to Bulls games and seeing him live in the 90's. The man was a superhero. The highlight reels are amazing, but being there and watching him live was something truly special. When he played, every game was a highlight reel.
