Keeping malices for days to weeks as a form of punishment: for example refusing to have any form of communication concerning day to day life activities especially when children are involved.
This is emotional abuse!!! Controlling low self esteem men do this a lot.
You will hear some men saying I don’t beat woman, but I will punish her with malice.
I’m glad I left the marriage cos the number 1 point was basically me cos I was always lonely and told when to go and see my parents, no friends cos he always don’t like my friends
This is a very sensitive topic. Y'all just described a narcisist.😢. Some of these men have some mental issues. Had to run away for my life. I was never good enough for him. The lies, insults, accusations and manipulations. Thank God for healing.
Thank you soo much for talking about this issue guys. WOMEN please if you are in this situation, LEAVE!!. They will never change. Leave before you end up dead!! its not worth it. Please if you are thinking its your fault that you are being treated like this, IT IS NOT!!. No one should be treated like that. I also recommend this book "Why Does He Do That? Inside the Minds of Angry and Controlling Men" by Lundy Bancroft. This book helped me heal and understand how these men think when i was dealing with my abusive relationship. Please choose you❤

Like you rightly said, many women don't even know they are in an abusive relationship. For me it took me meeting my husband to actually realize that i was abused emotionally and verbally by the ex, most of the points were really relatable with him, thank God i didnt end with him sha. Isolation being the first step is so true..fresh out of uni,I got into a relationship, the day he referred to my mum as a third party and shouldn't know the littlest stuff in the relationship was when I knew it was a big red flag..asides him preparing a blue print of the career path without even getting to know what I want..though young, I'm so happy I knew the right decision to make.

I’ve seen a lot from verbal abuse, to manipulation, disrespect, isolation, controlling and possessive behaviors, people around even “counselors” always making me feel like I’m not thinking right and that I’m at fault. I’ve been been enduring until it graduated to physical abuse

Still watching but just wanted to comment on the issue of being someone's possession and telling her what to do at every time. I knew a couple at a point, they finished eating, the woman wanted her hand and told a small child to go get her napkin and the husband the her she doesn't need napkin but she still told the child to go get the napkin.

I know of a lady that the husband doesn't want any man to communicate with her .... Even her co workers , the man quarrel with her almost everyday because of stupid reasons . The man feels she will cheat, whereas the man is a chronic cheat.. when i ask her y she is still staying in the marriage she said because of the children. She said 'i done enter, i done enter finish ' . I told her until he starts beat you. Because it's really craze and many women stay in an abusive marriage because of their children.
