Dr. Lamborghini, I’m down to 195lbs from 301lbs in 8 months.
I wake up, work on abs to warm up/ take my vitamins and pre workout then walk to the gym (2miles away)
then work out for 2 hours
Then walk back home ( 2miles)
Then eat my high protein meal ( intermittent fasting)
Then walk to work (4miles)
I work at a upscale warehouse so I’m constantly lifting boxes
Then when I get home treadmill for 2miles

Great video! Being a Covid survivor in early 2020, I just purchased a walking pad to improve my walking and breathing. I'm still getting shortness of breath when walking and my speed is not that fast at the moment. I'm also working on my food intake.

I've tried both walking and cycling. Riding my bike is much more fun, taking me further, and therefore gets done more often = better results
Thanks Dr. Mike! After getting my DEXA Scan, I'm currently at 16.9 BF% weighing 130.7 lbs and I've been walking 25, 000 steps daily for the last few months (while eating around 2.2k calories). Hoping to eventually reach 12 to 15 range BF% soon!

I cycle between jogging/walking with weight lifting. 6’2 215, still with some belly fat. This def motivates me to keep on going.

I went on a 30 min walk today at 6:30 am and hit 3k steps BEFORE work. I’m at work now and about to go on my 10 min walk around outside. As of this time (11:50am) I’m at 8,455 steps.

Walking is a good way to lose fat and it's true its an exercise you can do throughout your life.
What worked for me the best is hitting a heavy bag. It's a great stress relief too.
I walk on a 12peak hill everyday for 10-20min . Definitely helps with walking around the neighborhood, effortlessly

Walking 10k steps changed my life. I lost 20lbs and drastically improved my mental health. I enjoy walking at night and seeing the cityscape at night. It is very quiet and relaxing. Unfortunately, I have since joined a gym, so I am stuck indoors again… I need to get back outside 😊
This is so true! I noticed this when I go on vacations where I usually walk around 15-25km per day, and although I don't eat healthy foods while I vacation, I usually loose weight and body fat. While working it's not possible to do that, but I always try to keep a minimum of 10k and it's been working out.
when walking on a walking pad my garmin watch doesnt seem to count the steps, waht can be done about it, any experience? Br

What gave it away is the fact that it’s the exact same thing every fitness influencer is talking about, so it gets repetitive.
I was thinking the same thing! Something everyone can do. Even after stroke I have done this consistently and seen the pounds come off rapidly.

Just be in caloric defecit and cut down on sugar and you will lose fat. You won't be the most healthy but you will see physical results.

The one thing i´m not doing is actually keeping track of my steps. I refuse to wear a stupid smartwatch, and most of my walking is done without my phone. Walking around the office, running after the kids, cleaning, working around the house or in the garden - i don´t have my phone in my pocket, it´s on a table or on the couch. So even if i spend half the day doing hard physical labour, i still only get 3k steps :D.

I walk at least 15,000 steps a day, I lift weights five days a week and I’m very grateful for that. Otherwise I would be really fat because I have a horrible sweet tooth.

is this a very conservative number the 10k steps being 250cal becouse my step tracker initialy at my weight of 110kg said 15k steps was just over 750 cal and now at 90kg it's 675 cal i feel like if i was only buring half of the cals i was tracking as per your calculation of 25cal per 1000 steps i would have not lost nearly as much weight
My goal is 5 to 10 miles a day. I have had a few 20+ days walking but not the norm. I dont calorie count i just fast in the morning and eat twice a day eating 99% meat. I've lost 70 pounds in 7 months.

Not at all. Taking medication does not break your fast, as long as the medication does not contain any calories or nutrients that could trigger your digestive system.

I needed to save money for a treadmill. I have CHF, 4 stokes, aphasia, retired with disability, and I don't have a working car. I am scared of stray dogs in my neighborhood.

@@sanjam11 I've been walking almost every day I live in the country side so everything is naturally quite far away and we have nice walking lanes the last 3 days I have been walking/jogging/ running about 7.4 km for the last 3 days and I'm trying to be in a calorie deficit which helps with in 3 days I've done about 22 km of walking/jogging/running while in a carlorie deficit and yeah outdoors walking!
450g of fat x 9kcal/g is not 3500 kcal...
I average 8.1k for the last 31days but 10.9 for the last 12months. Yet i still can't loose this belly fat

the only way to lose fat is to be in calories deficit, but getting your mileage 10k daily in wont get you there if at the end of the day if your calories intake exceeds the expenditure. Just to be clear here

138 bpm is a brisk walk? That is zone 2 running for me, running around 10 minutes per mile, and I can lift heavy and do zone 5 cardio. The numbers are off!
